How to make a toy with your own hands for the new year. Do-it-yourself children's Christmas toy for a competition in school and kindergarten: step-by-step instructions

New Year's Eve is a special time for families. Pre-holiday chores are an excellent occasion for spending time together, they unite relatives. The Christmas tree is especially important, a symbol of the holiday that is on the threshold. Children love to decorate the Christmas tree and look forward to this moment. Imagine how delighted they will be with the idea of making christmas toys for the Christmas tree with your own hands!

So it is possible to "reanimate" old, favorite Christmas balls or create new ones with the help of improvised materials and a bit of imagination. By investing in your soul, you will make every holiday special and memorable, and make children happy.

Soft Christmas trees

List of required:

  • cardboard, pencil, scissors and glue;
  • pieces of beautiful fabric;
  • loop tape;
  • decor to taste - rhinestones, buttons, lace, curly beads, beads, etc.

Draw a Christmas tree template on cardboard, cut it out and paste over the blank with a cloth on both sides. Now it's time for fantasy! Involve your child in decorating a soft Christmas tree - sew on beads, stick sequins, feathers, sequins, scraps of braid and lace. You can sew on a toy knitted flowers, ready-made or purchased.

Idea: draw a pattern on the Christmas tree with acrylic paints on fabric.

In conclusion, you need to sew a loop to the top of the work to hang it on a Christmas tree or decorate a house.

You can do it differently: cut out two “mirror” parts in the form of a Christmas tree from the fabric, sew them and turn them inside out. Decorate your Christmas tree and once again let your imagination and creativity run wild in decorating.

Lace fantasy

Required:

  • balloon, thread;
  • petrolatum;
  • knitted lace;
  • plastic cup, water, PVA glue;
  • brush.

The technique is similar to making a gossamer ball.

Mix glue and some water in a container. Inflate the balloon, tie it tightly so that it does not deflate ahead of time, and the creation does not deteriorate during drying. Lightly grease the ball with petroleum jelly so that the lace comes off later. Knitted lace should be covered with a mixture of water and glue with a brush and wrap the ball with it row by row.

Then the toy is dried during the day. At the end, you need to do as with ordinary papier-mâché: untie the balloon, blow it off and carefully pull it out.

The finished product will turn out beautiful and "airy".

Pompom Jewelry

Knitted pompoms are a great thing, as toys one by one or even whole garlands. From the many multi-colored ones, a cheerful, colorful caterpillar on a Christmas tree will turn out. Turn single white pom-poms into angels or hares by sewing on eyes, ears, wings, paws.

Tools and materials:

  • cardboard, scissors, pencil;
  • thick yarn of the desired color, synthetic or wool, so as not to fray.

Cut out two identical circles from cardboard. As a template, take a glass or use a compass. The diameter of the circle determines how big the pom-pom will be. Cut a 3 cm hole in the middle. Put the resulting rings together and start wrapping with thread. The more yarn wound, the thicker the pom-pom. Use different threads to get a multi-colored pompom.

Further along the outer contour of the circle you need to cut knitted yarn with scissors, push the rings apart, wrap tightly and tie threads between them so that the product does not fall apart. When you're done, remove the rings and save as a blank for later. If the pom-pom is uneven, trim the yarn with scissors.

You can make many knitted pompoms and make a garland or use them one by one.

Other interesting idea textile garland: you need to collect beautiful vintage shreds and string them on a rope. You get a knitted garland of flags, ideally matched by color.

Felt Christmas decorations

Felt is a thin colored felt. It is dense, so the toys are durable and practical, especially if they are often touched by children. Making felt crafts is simple: cut out blanks and sew them together.

There are some simple and beautiful ideas for felt Christmas tree decor.

For them you will need:

  • felt sheets of different colors - you can buy them in craft stores;
  • ribbons for loops;
  • decorative trifle - buttons, wooden and plastic beads, beads, etc.;
  • synthetic winterizer;
  • pencil, scissors, thread, needle.

Any shape is acceptable - a heart, a bird, a circle, an asterisk, of your choice. You can make several different Christmas decorations. Fold two sheets of felt together, draw the shape you want and cut it out. It is interesting to use sheets of different colors for both sides. You can sew so that the seam is visible - the visible stitch looks beautiful with a bright floss thread on felt.

Stuff the finished toy loosely to make it voluminous, and decorate as you like. Decoration ideas - embroidery with beads and sequins, embroidery with threads, ribbons.

Sew on a ribbon loop and solemnly hang it on the Christmas tree.

Paper toys for the Christmas tree

Santa Claus face

On the eve of the New Year, many things are magically transformed ... Even paper plates! Thanks to the hands of home needlewomen and needlewomen, paper containers can become the smiling faces of Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden, and your favorite fairy-tale characters. Below is a master class on the example of Santa Claus.

You will need:

  • packaging of paper plates;
  • colored paper;
  • cotton wool for a beard;
  • felt-tip pens, paints, pencils;
  • glue;
  • acrylic primer or white acrylic paint;
  • scissors.

The paper plate needs to be painted with white acrylic on the front side. This is the base for the paint to lay down neatly and look bright. When the base is dry, mix the paint (gouache or watercolor) so that you get a flesh color and cover the previous layer with it. Again, the plate should dry.

Now let's get to the face. Eyes, mouth, nose. For them, you can use felt-tip pens and pencils, and also look at the picture of Santa Claus on the Web in parallel to choose or match a color. The next step is the beard. Tufts of cotton wool are glued along the edge of the plate.

The last one is a hat. Cut it out of red colored paper and glue it on a plate. You can make a cotton trim or pompom on the hat, it will come out beautifully. By the same principle, you can make another favorite character in fairy tales.

paper stars

This decor is a simple origami product, which is also called "wish stars". You can put them in a transparent Christmas ball or make a beautiful garland by stringing stars on a string.

Required:

  • colored paper, cut into strips 1.1 × 29 cm;
  • patience and perseverance.

Process of creation:

  1. Take the prepared strip, roll the loop.
  2. Wrap the short tip of the paper, making a knot.
  3. Carefully, so as not to tear, tighten the knot and press it with your fingernail - the result looks like a pentagon.
  4. Wrap the tip on the other side of the workpiece. The shorter it is, the better - the free end should not look beyond the pentagon.
  5. Turn over the future asterisk, if the tip of the paper strip is still long, it must be cut or tucked and hidden inside the pentagon.
  6. With a long strip, without pressing on the product itself, wrap the entire pentagon at least ten times (2 on each side).
  7. With the free end, you need to do the same: tuck and hide.
  8. Now take the workpiece with two fingers of one hand and with the nail of the other press on any face of the pentagon towards the middle. Repeat with all edges. Ready!

paper ice cream

For this inedible beauty you need:

  • cardboard, glue, scissors;
  • needle and thread;
  • corrugated colored paper.

Cut out a circle with a diameter of 10-11 cm from cardboard, cut it in half and fold the resulting parts into cones. Secure with a paperclip to make it more convenient, and coat with glue. Let it dry.

Form corrugated paper of different colors into lumps, grease the bottom with glue and insert into cardboard horns with glue down. Using a needle and thread, make a loop in the Christmas toy by piercing the top "ice cream ball".

You can make instead of paper knitted balls.

Use "edible" materials

New Year's toys from peanuts

Materials:

  • acrylic paints;
  • brushes, a jar of water;
  • peanut;
  • glue;
  • lace for a loop;
  • items for small decor - colored paper, cotton wool, etc.

Drawing on peanuts is almost a miniature painting, most of the work here is for adults, and children will come up with creative ideas.

Paint the peanuts the desired color and let dry. After drying with a thin brush (brushes for nail art work well), draw faces on the blanks - eyes, mouth, etc. Peanuts can be "dressed" - a cap made of colored paper, a knitted scarf, a cotton mustache and a beard. When finished, glue the loop to the top of the walnut man.

Citrus decor

Required:

  • lemon, tangerine or orange;
  • different forms for cookies;
  • if there are no forms, scissors are fine.

It is necessary to remove the skin from the citrus and cut out a blank of the desired shape from it, make a hole or cut out the middle, and then dry it.

During the drying process, the skin is deformed - if you do not like this, you can put the blanks under the press in advance, placing them between two sheets of paper and pressing down with books.

Hang the resulting figures by the loop separately or make a garland. Dried citrus peel smells great, and natural cinnamon sticks can be added to such a garland, too, for a smell.

You can also dry slices of orange and lemon, then make holes in them and hang them up.

"Pasta" Christmas toys

  • pasta of various shapes;
  • brushes, water;
  • glue moment;
  • acrylic paints of different colors, as well as metallic - silver and gold acrylic;
  • sequins, glitters for decoration;
  • ribbons for eyelets, for which to hang jewelry.

With pasta, the imagination is not limited. From them you can make unusual Christmas trees, snowflakes, angels, etc. You can lay them out on the table and play like with a designer. When you decide on the shape of the future product, fasten the pasta together with glue and let it dry.

Then proceed to coloring. Cover the table with a newspaper, take a brush and cover the product first on one side, then, when it dries, on the other. To fix the paint, the creation can be varnished. Attach a loop on top.

In the process, when the paint is still wet, you can sprinkle glitter on the toy. A shiny silver snowflake or star will look great.

If you have foam blanks Christmas balls or just old and uninteresting, they can be pasted over with pasta and painted.

Work with blanks

Decor with buttons

What you need:

  • many beautiful buttons (beads, beads);
  • glue moment;
  • preparation of a Christmas ball;
  • a piece of twine or ribbon for a loop.

In craft stores (and even sometimes in stationery stores), sets of foam and wooden blanks are sold in order to create New Year's toys with your own hands. You can buy a package or use old, ugly plastic balls that you have at home.

New Year and the green beauty of the Christmas tree are inseparable concepts. It's time to review and update the stock of toys. We propose not to run to the store, but to engage in the exciting process of creating Christmas decorations and decorations with your own hands. There is material in every home - these are old glossy magazines, newspapers, unclaimed beads, shreds of fabric, fur and felt. And also what can be collected on a walk will be used - acorns, cones, beautiful twigs and even bird feathers. Armed with glue, scissors and your own imagination, you can make unique things in the hand made style, please your family, surprise your relatives and friends.

New life for old Christmas balls

In the box where Christmas decorations are stored, there will surely be balls that have lost their former attractiveness or are simply tired. Spend a few evenings with pleasant needlework and decorate them in a new way. Suggested ideas – not strict New Year's master class, where you need to strictly perform certain actions, but only tips for generating your own creative abilities.

Take the old nondescript balls, Styrofoam blanks, any round objects, burnt out electric light bulbs and get started. Possible options:

  • wrap with pieces of cloth
  • paste over with beads or a shiny cord,
  • paint with acrylic paints
  • draw abstract patterns with a gold or silver marker,
  • fill transparent balls with buttons or other small items,
  • wrap with multi-colored threads.

Using bright yarn, you can make funny pompoms, a Christmas star or a small Christmas tree.

Just stuff small carnations along the desired contour, soak the thread in starch or glue, wind it up and let it dry - the decoration is ready.

Christmas trees, garlands, cones and Christmas cookies

Christmas trees can be made from cardboard, felt, buttons of different sizes, or from colored paper folded into a tube. An ordinary garland will take the form of Chinese lanterns if you place each element in a box that is assembled according to the instructions given.

A selection of photos will tell you the main direction, and new ideas will be born by themselves. Just don't put it off until the last minute, let it in New Year's fairy tale into life right now.

Although the edibility of salt dough toys is a big question, they look very appetizing, are stored for a long time and are made very simply.

For salt dough you will need:

  • 2 cups of flour;
  • 1 glass of salt;
  • about 250 g of cold water.
We mix everything, after which we roll out the kneaded dough and cut out the figures. You can immediately add dye at the stage of creating the test, and the toy will be even more interesting, while it will not need to be covered with paint. Then the dough crafts need to be dried: in the open air it will take 2-3 days, and in a non-hot oven (up to + 50 ° C) with the door ajar - 6-12 hours. Dried figures can be decorated: covered with paint, glaze, decorated with buttons, shells, beads, pebbles, and so on.

salt dough garland

Salty toys are interesting to create even with the smallest fidget: this option is not only cost-effective, but also very attractive. I picked up a visual master class for creating a cute sheep from salt dough:

Our readers also do not waste time in vain and create these.

Toys made of beads and beads

What could be easier than stringing beads on a wire and bending it into any shape our soul desires? And how many beautiful things can be braided with beads!

Also, toys made from scraps of brocade and other interesting fabrics, decorated with beads, beads and sequins, look very nice.

pom pom toys

With this toy, we (my child and I) started preparing for the holiday this year. It becomes even warmer on the heart when a fabulous owl or fluffy lamb, made by oneself, looks at you from the branches of a Christmas tree.

To bring this toy to life, you will need:

  • a ball of thread you like;
  • some colored cardboard;
  • PVA glue.
The thicker the thread, the less it will go to create a pompom. Eyes can be bought ready-made or drawn on cardboard.

We cut out a circle from cardboard or any other dense material and begin to wrap it with threads. When the hole is difficult to pass a pencil, boldly cut your threads along the contour of the circle.

In the middle we tie the resulting bundle with a thread, and remove the cardboard. Now we fluff the pompom - the craft material is ready! We make up our favorite animal from pompoms and decorate it with details cut out of cardboard: horns, hooves, eyes, and so on.

You will find other ideas on this topic in the selection.

Snowmen from a sock and grits

Did your friend have a hole in your sock? It doesn't matter, the wildest dreams can come true on New Year's Eve, even if they belong to a sock. There was a sock, but there was a snowman!

Pour some rice into the sock, tie it with a ribbon, separating the head of the future snowman from the body, fill the rest with rice, tie it tightly. You can put a child’s sock on the head of a newly-made snowman and make a hat, sew on bead eyes, draw a mouth and blush your cheeks with a pencil, paint or mother’s shadows (with this carefully!). And the sock's dreams take shape!

These are the beauties that our relatives, the owners of an unlimited amount of rice and Christmas excitement, turned out to be.

Thread toys

In essence, they are close to pompoms, since the materials for creation will be the same. But the structure of the thread is important here. The silkier it is, the more interesting the toy will turn out.

We cut out any figures you like from thick cardboard or polystyrene foam, and wrap them with yarn. We decorate with everything that comes to mind: buttons, glass beads, beads, bows and so on.

You can take threads of a dense texture and create angels or little men from them. I had different viscose threads, beads and buttons, shells from the sea, ribbons. Everything that came to hand went into action.

It turned out pretty nice, right?

I really like these toys!

If this method of creating paper decorations is too complicated and time consuming for you, you can make the most simple crafts, which even small children can do using PVA glue, thread and paper.

Children really like crafting from paper, try to make at least one New Year's craft with them - see for yourself!

felted wool toys

As a child, I did not understand why my grandmother needed a spinning wheel, needles of various lengths and strange “combs” of wool.

Now everything is gone, and I understand that I could have mastered the art of felting as a child. In our time, this type of needlework has been revived and is widely used.

With the help of this technique, magnificent toys are created.

Felted wool snowmen And

Watch the master class on wet felting wool:

Ready to try?

Do not rush to throw away used light bulbs, they can be useful to you in the New Year. Using only one paint and ribbons, you can perfectly decorate your house and Christmas tree with such unusual toys.

During the war years, this type of toy was very popular. In our time, enjoys no less interest and, I must say, not in vain!

Good company of "tube" snowmen?

And how do you like such an appetizing ball?

We take the foam, cut out a semicircle from it, wrap our lollipops with multi-colored foil and stick our lollipops into the foam or floral sponge. A wire is inserted into the center, passing through the sponge, and the ends are fixed on the ball from below so that it does not fall from our Christmas tree.

And this is only a small part of the toys and decorations that you can make yourself. Fantasize, use any means at hand: embroider, knit, decorate, paint and sculpt from polymer clay and your toy will be the best for you!

I know families that don't consciously buy or make toys for practical and minimalistic reasons. My advice to you: do not deprive your children and yourself of childhood. Christmas decorations They bring an unusual feeling of joy and warmth to the house, which the child will carry with him through his whole life and pass on to his children. Love each other! Rejoice yourself and loved ones! Be sure to dream, make toys! Happy New Year and Merry Christmas everyone!

- in the article

So let's start our New Year's Boom-2019 with your own hands.

Idea Pack #1

New Year's crafts from CONES.

Here is a simple paper craft for children for the New Year - Santa Claus from a cardboard cone. It is very easy to do it yourself if an adult helps you twist and staple a cardboard bag.

Paper cone rolls up from the usual SEMI-CIRCLE from cardboard- or even not from half of the circle, but from its third ( the smaller part of the circle we take under our bag-cone, the thinner and more elongated the silhouette of the cone is).

On the finished red cardboard cone is glued white paper overlay in the form of a beard(triangular shape - right photo, or oval with a long fringe cut - left photo). After sticking the beard on top, glue face oval(on top of the face, if necessary, add the application of the mustache) - draw the eyes, nose, cheeks. You can glue the legs of Santa Claus to the cone.

It is convenient to do such New Year's crafts with children in kindergarten - if you prepare in advance red cones linked with a stapler. Give the kids decor options, details, glue scissors and let them turn the red cardboard cone into Santa Claus.

Here are some more design options for the same paper craft on New Year. In the first case, the beard is one semicircular piece of paper. And in the second case, the beard is several oval layers of paper ( and each oval is shorter than the previous one) and the edges of each oval are cut into a fringe-straw. Come up with your design - with your mind and imagination - and bring it to life with your own hands.

And here is a do-it-yourself version of Santa Claus, which can be folded immediately from three cones.

FIRST bottom red cone(this is the coat of Santa Claus) - on the sides of this lower red cone we glue the applications of the hands of Santa Claus.

SECOND medium white cone(this is the beard of Santa Claus) - we paste the face and mustache on it.

THIRD top red cone(This is Santa's hat)

From the same THREE cones of different sizes, you can make a New Year's children's CRAFTS-Christmas tree.

And here is Santa Claus, made of two cones - the lower COAT and the upper FACE WITH A HAT.

craft template You can copy directly from the screen of your monitor, if you put a sheet of paper directly on the screen and circle the translucent picture with a pencil. To enlarge an image screen - you need to press the Ctrl button on your keyboard, and with your other hand, roll the mouse wheel forward.

And if you like the theme of Santa Claus and his Reindeer, then on our website there are just such soulful articles-lessons with master classes and templates

Well, we will continue, about the topic of cone crafts. In such crafts the cone can only be the BODY of the future character- and his FACE can be inserted into the slot on the top of the cone - as is done on the New Year's snowman craft in the photo below. A good and simple craft for classes in kindergarten (for middle and senior group- children 4-6 years old).

And here original craft where a New Year's festive couple is made of cones - Ded Moroz and Snegurochka. This craft was made by our mothers on the forum with their own hands. Very talented and skillful.

Idea Pack #3

New Year's crafts from cardboard

You can use regular school cardboard. Cut out the details of the Christmas characters from different colors of cardboard and glue them together. At the back, make a SUPPORT so that the figures stand vertically. Or instead of a prop you can glue a box (for tea or cookies) to the back wall, glue it with colored paper, and fill it with sweets if you wish.

The craft in the photo below has a bag of sweets glued to the back of the snowman. Due to this, the figure does not fall.

You can use patterned paper in the craft - in which gifts are wrapped. So your craft will be even smarter - with polka dots or flower patterns, like the New Year's penguin in the photo below.

Here, such a compact Santa Claus made of red cardboard. You can use formiam or hard thick felt instead of cardboard.

Here interesting way make Santa Claus out of cardboard - an easy-to-make children's craft

You will find many more ideas with the application in the form of Frosty Santa in a special article.

You can make a voluminous cardboard pendant for the Christmas tree using other techniques. From cardboard and colored paper we form a New Year's character. And then we glue a belly to it, which, in turn, we decorate with rhinestones. A semi-circular tummy-tummy can be made by cutting a foam ball in half, or make salt dough then bake or dry.

You will find a template for such silhouette crafts in our special article.

And here is a beautiful craft for the New Year in the kindergarten - a Christmas tree made of coated white cardboard. Two sheets of cardboard - glossy coated glued together. IMPORTANT!!! - glue sheets of cardboard with dry glue (glue stick, double-sided tape), without wet PVA glue, otherwise the cardboard will rear up and go in waves.
You can glue two sheets, you can even three.

As a result, we get a solid white plate. We transfer the Christmas tree template to it. Trace the template with a pencil and cut it out. We sew on the edge of the Christmas tree with threads or put a fluffy green garland on the glue. We attach Christmas balls to the paws of the Christmas tree, hang glass beads and satin ribbons, you can decorate in different ways, at your discretion. We fix the Christmas tree in the stand. To make the Christmas tree stand well, we weight the stand with plasticine, a wooden board, a book.

Idea Pack #4

New Year's crafts FROM TAPE.

But crafts from textile ribbons. You can use stiff ribbons made of rough dense material and make the craft hold its shape (as done with the flower craft in the left photo below). There, solid red beads also act as a rigid frame and hold the ribbon petals in a clear shape.

You can use a soft ribbon and string it on a thin wooden skewer - you get the silhouette of a Christmas tree. A very simple and quick DIY craft for the new year.

The same idea of a Christmas tree made of ribbons can be developed and transferred to other New Year's characters - as is done on children's crafts from the photo below. You yourself can create new versions of this idea with your own mind and with your own hands - and use any creative idea from this site only as a STARTING START POINT for your own AUTHOR'S IDEA.

Idea Pack #5

New Year crafts

FROM PAPER STRIPS.

And here are the ideas of New Year's crafts, where the basis for creative thought is the base in the form of a ball folded from strips of paper of the same length. The balls stick together with each other - we get the base in the form of a HEAD and a BODY. And then the work continues - on gluing the face, hands and other elements of personalizing the craft.

In the example below, we see that Santa Claus is obtained from two balls, if you glue an application of a beard with a face and a mustache on the front ball, glue hands in mittens and fur cuffs on the sides of the body, and crown the crown of the craft with a white cotton pom-pom.

And here is an example of a do-it-yourself children's craft from strips of paper where two balls turn into a snowman due to the eyes and nose of a carrot. Two round hands and applications of a broom and a shovel.

And a cheerful New Year's deer can be made from ONE ball. Please note that there are flat stars next to the deer - they are made according to the same principle - the strips are folded into a ball - and then flattened along the equatorial line of the ball.

Here is the master class showing how to make such a New Year's volumetric ball out of strips of paper. Stripes are cut. On each of them we find the MIDDLE POINT. We thread the thread into the needle - we attach a bead to the end of the threaded thread and pierce the MIDDLE POINTS of each strip with a needle.

We push the pierced strips apart with rays in different sides- and then we pierce the ends of each strip again with a needle already at a height - at the top of the ball. We fix all this with a bead at the top and then it remains to decorate the ball for the character we need or a craft toy.

By a similar principle, we can create such a children's Christmas tree toy from strips of paper (as in the photo below).

And here are alternative stripe technique designs. You see penguins, which are made up of stripes but are already connected into a ball according to a different principle.

And in the example with a polar bear in the photo below, we see that a ping-pong ball or a foam ball can serve as the head part of the craft. And in the middle, beads can be strung on a thread (so the craft will look more elegant). Think with your head, dream with your soul - and do it with your own hands.

A beautiful New Year's team for a competition in a kindergarten or school.

Idea Pack #6

New Year crafts

FROM ROLLS.

You can make a lot of beautiful Christmas crafts from toilet paper rolls. You can make dressed-up Santa Clauses as in the left photo below. Please note that the beard on this craft is made of white lace. And the cap on the head is sewn from fabric (you can use colored crepe crumpled paper).

But the snowmen (on the right photo below) - you can make headphones from fluffy wire brushes. Scarves from pieces of fabric, and stick real buttons.

But the craft is an angel. Very soft and easy to make. We cover the roll in paint of two colors - pink gouache at the top, white at the bottom. For the wing we take lace paper napkin(for lack of such, you can simply cut out an openwork snowflake from paper) fold it in half and glue it to the back of the angel.

The most interesting thing is the angel hairstyle - it just looks complicated, but in fact - the upper part of the hairstyle is ordinary. yellow paper circle, which are around the circumference cut into fringe- these fringes fall to the side of the roll in the form of a circular bang. And then On the sides add strips of paper, beforehand we wind the lower part of each strip on a pencil (or run a scissor blade over them so that they themselves twist into a tight curl). You will find a lot of paper angel ideas in our article.

From toilet rolls, you can also make elegant Christmas tree crafts.

Here is an interesting idea for a round Christmas tree cut from a roll. We take a roll, flatten it into a plane, draw the legs of a Christmas tree on the sides of this plane, cut them out, and then flatten the roll back into a circle again. We glue rhinestones and an asterisk.

Or the roll can only be used as a stand for a flat cardboard Christmas tree.

Rollo also makes excellent penguins. - rolls must be covered with thick black gouache before crafting. And so that during the application children's hands do not get dirty with black paint and do not contaminate other details of the craft, we must COVER our BLACK ROLLS with HAIR SPRAY - so the paint will shine and stop staining our hands with black soot.

You can draw on the rolls the familiar features of your favorite cartoon character (as is done with the snowmen from the Frozen cartoon).

And you can decorate the craft with additional cutting elements - as is done on the example of deer from the right photo below. Here we cut out the crotch between the legs of the deer (in order for these legs to actually appear). And we also cut off the upper part of the roll - leaving the tail-neck - on this bent tail we will glue the silhouette of the head.

We can come up with our own designs of familiar New Year characters. It's so interesting to pick up a gray unremarkable external roll-sleeve and turn it into a piece of the New Year's holiday.

And here is a children's craft made also from rolls but already cut into segments. This can be done from ordinary flat cardboard, if you roll it into a tube with a stapler and cut it into the segments we need. Simple and interesting voluminous craft for children for the New Year.

And from rolls - you can fold here such a beauty - big Christmas tree . It will look good both in the office and in a group. kindergarten. True, the rolls must be collected in advance and then painted for quite some time. Gouache is not enough - it is better to buy a liter can of facade white paint and a bottle of green color. Pour color into white acrylic, stir and paint with a wide brush or sponge.

Idea Pack #7

New Year crafts

FROM SACKING.

But New Year's crafts, which are made of cheap and very comfortable in texture material - ROUGH SACKING.

Dense burlap is well starched - and takes on a rigid shape. It can be painted in any color and folded into a rigid shape of craft details.

From starched dyed burlap, you can cut out the petals and fold the flower. Burlap can be glued onto cardboard and cut out the silhouette of an owl - add applications of wings and eyes with a beak.

From an inconspicuous-looking burlap, you can make very delicate beautiful crafts for the new year. For example, this mitten has acquired New Year's chic thanks to lace, beads, bells and pine needles.

A simple piece of gray fabric can play in the rays of your imagination. And turn into a deer with branch antlers or a cute New Year's bird.

You can cut stars out of rough canvas by simply pasting them onto cardboard (as in the left photo below).

Or folding diamond-shaped rays from burlap modules and folding them into a star (as in the right photo below).

You can glue a regular toilet paper roll with a piece of burlap and decorate it with a red cardboard edging and colored paper appliqué. And we will get a cute Christmas tree basket craft. Simple and interesting work for a competition in kindergarten.

You can stretch the burlap like a canvas on a picture frame and draw a New Year's picture on it. Such a New Year's children's craft can be safely carried to a competition in a school or kindergarten. It will decorate any exhibition of New Year's children's works.

And even more idea for New Year's paintings, painted on canvas or paper sheet, I collected in a special article

New Year crafts

FROM BOXES

But crafts from ordinary boxes. SMALL boxes of tea, cookies, toothpaste, cream, medicine are suitable. For large crafts LARGE juice boxes, shoe boxes or office paper will do.

Nose, shaggy Christmas tree ears made of colored paper, horns made of thick tree branches - and here we are New Year's craft deer. Or stick a nose, eyes, buttons on a box pasted over with white paper, tie it with a scarf and put on a hat - we get a simple snowman craft.

By the same principle, any rectangular surface of the box can be decorated as Santa Claus, a penguin, and any New Year's character.

You can turn the box into a toy snow-covered house.

Idea Pack #9

New Year crafts CAPS.

But the most simple ideas masks-hats in the New Year theme. Deer, snowman, Santa Claus - any holiday character can be embodied from ordinary colored paper.

Idea Pack #10

New Year crafts APPLICATIONS.

And here are crafts-appliques for the New Year. You can make small figured applications on cardboard rolled into a roll - as toys for Christmas tree pendants.

The simplest applications for school or kindergarten are a snowman. But it does not have to be performed in the traditional technique. You can show your imagination and make a snowman from non-standard materials - gypsum plaster diluted in water, or from finely chopped crumpled paper.

Children's New Year crafts-applique can be multi-layered. And it does not have to be done on a rectangular sheet of paper. On the contrary, a children's craft will look more elegant if it is done on a round sheet of cardboard. And glue the edges of the sheet with paper lace, cut off from a large paper snowflake.

And here are more examples of voluminous convex crafts. Any character that has a muzzle or face can be made in the form of a voluminous application if a triangular TRUCK is provided on the silhouette of the face. You can see these darts on the templates below.

We simply cut them with scissors (we make an incision only on one side of the tuck) - and then glue the side of the tuck under the notch (hiding the tuck in the gluing).

Idea Pack #11

New Year's crafts napkin holders.

But New Year's crafts that can decorate your festive table. The fact is that Santa Clauses, which we see below, are nozzles for table napkins.

In the first case (on the left photo below), we make a bag out of red paper, paste a beige face, white mustache, white cap trim on it (but don’t make a beard). Next, we take a white napkin, fold it like a beard and put it inside the bag - part of the white napkin sticks out of the bag, reminiscent of Santa Claus's beard.

In the second case (in the right photo below) - we cut out a white circle from thick white paper (or cardboard). On the upper side of the circle, draw a face, a nose, and glue on a mustache. AND MAKE A CUT over the straight line of the face. We fold a large red table napkin into a sharp triangle and put the sharp end of the triangle into the slot - stretch it and get ... at the top (above the slot) part of the napkin looks like a red cap ... below under the beard part of the red napkin looks like Santa Claus's fur coat.

A simple craft that your children will really like, especially since you can make several such crafts for all the guests invited to the festive New Year's table.

And here are the napkin holders, which are made from cardboard toilet paper rolls. Also a simple solution and a fun children's craft - for a garden or school on New Year's Eve.

Idea Pack #12

New Year's CRAFTS-WINDINGS.

But the ideas of children's simple crafts, where a cardboard silhouette is wrapped with colored threads or thin ribbons of bright colors. So you can wrap a triangle with threads, sew a couple of rhinestones or beads on it and we will get an elegant Christmas tree craft.

You can pull the threads through the holes (punctures with a hole punch) - as in the snowflake craft from the left photo.

Or thread the threads through the slots - as on round Christmas tree decorations from the right photo below.

You can combine any New Year's idea with the reception of a thread winding. And get original and simple crafts for kids. For example, this is implemented on crafts with a NEW YEAR'S DEER in the photo below.

The brighter and juicier the color of the threads, the brighter and more festive your children's craft will be. Bright ribbons, glue rhinestones and stars cut out of thick foil will only complete the thread craft.

And if a mother or grandmother in your family loves to crochet, then you can make knitted New Year's crafts - small or even large.

Christmas crafts PENDANTS.

For a competition in a garden or school, you can make a craft on a larger scale. For example, a beautiful Christmas pendant.

The general meaning of such crafts is that there should be a large part-holder at the top and more small items general craftsmanship.

You can hang a variety of pendant crafts on a lamp or on a window ledge. Make them from openwork paper napkin for confectionery (as in the photo below) - very simple and fast.

Even from the pages of scrap paper you can make bright New Year crafts-pendants. It would be a desire, and a little time. Everything is really easy. And even from the photo it is clear how these paper modules are made and how they are assembled into one central round - just with glue.

NEW YEAR'S WREATHS.

And here is one of my favorite themes of children's New Year's crafts. Children just jump with pleasure when you offer them such a serious craft. They like the donut format and like that as a result their work can be used like a real one. Christmas decoration, which from year to year is hung on the door in their family.

In this article I will give only a few ideas for seeding. But in the future I plan to make a separate article on children's wreath crafts for the New Year, and then the link will work here.

In the meantime, let's see the basic ideas for creating the basis for New Year's wreaths. We will make the base in the form of a donut. A standard A4 cardboard sheet will be small in circumference. Therefore, the base for such a wreath can be cut out of a large sheet of corrugated cardboard packaging - a pizza box is ideal.

If there are no large cardboard sheets (especially if you are preparing such a craft for a whole kindergarten group), then you can cut out SEMI-CIRCLES separately from cardboard, and then connect them with tape into one single ring. So that in the place of gluing-docking of the semirings did not get a flimsy fold we must strengthen the gluing place by slipping pieces of hard cardboard under it.

And we are already giving such a finished, wrapped blank to the child, and let him figure out how to decorate his wreath. You can offer him templates or ready-made cutouts, and decoration options.

Or you can make pretty wreaths out of double-sided green cardboard like these with a bright red paper bow.

You can leave out the donut base if it is completely covered with a finishing application, as is done on the Christmas children's wreath in the photo below.

Or you can not glue the wreath ring, do not wrap it, but paint it over with gouache. Dry and paste over already with applications - for example, such snowmen-snowflakes.

Also, an ordinary paper or plastic plate can serve as the basis for a Christmas wreath ring. We cut out the bottom from it and then decorate it according to our design plan.

The winding of the wreath can be done quickly with thick woolen threads. Or knitted threads (from knitted fabric cut into strips. You can decorate such a wreath natural material, figurines made of dense felt, cardboard applications.

New Year crafts from felt.

(beautiful and fast).

From dense felt, you can make quick bright crafts. Here is a snowflake candlestick, it is created from a flat sheet of felt. Just the diagram below I adjusted to the size of a felt sheet of 30 by 30 cm. But you can reduce the picture to a size that is convenient for you by copying it onto a Word sheet and pulling the corners of the image.

If you buy green felt of two or three shades of green, then you will quickly make such a Christmas tree with your own hands - a craft consisting of flat pancakes that are slightly pulled together with a needle in the center (to get a wavy disk surface).

That is, in the center of the felt circle, we draw a small circle with chalk, we go along it with stitches of thread - and then we tighten these circular stitches (to make a bulge along the center (like a hat with large margins). We make discs with a screed in the center - of different sizes , alternating shades of green... And we collect our Christmas tree like a pyramid.

Idea Pack #16

New Year's crafts from PLATES.

From plastic plates, you can make not only the bases for Christmas wreaths, but also any New Year characters. The round shape of the plate easily turns into the face of a snowman, deer, Santa Claus, penguin.

You can cut the plate as you like - for any of your ideas. If the round shape does not create a New Year's craft in your imagination, change this shape. Make a semicircle - and now the face of Santa Claus appears with a relief beard.

Cut the circle of the plate into quarters - and here they unobtrusively folded into a herringbone. It remains to take green paint and colored beads.

You can cut a truncated trapezoid from the circle of the plate and turn it into the head of a Christmas deer.

Idea Pack #17

New Year crafts

from the CASSETTE from eggs.

And here are the ideas of the most inexpensive crafts for the New Year. Ordinary paper cassettes from eggs. Their convex rows of cells will help give birth to many New Year's crafts. Your imagination will breathe life into these cardboard honeycombs - and bright colors will give new life old packaging.

If you work as a kindergarten teacher, then you can find this material on the first floor of the kindergarten, several large egg cassettes are thrown out in the kitchen every day. Chefs will be happy to become your regular suppliers of this creative material.

You can cut several rows of cells from the cassette holder at once - and turn them into a bright New Year's tree and drink a convex snowman.

You can cut out the individual bottoms of the cells and fold the pyramid of the snowman out of them.

You can not cut the cassette at all and make a team of New Year's deer with a sleigh for Santa Claus from a whole one.

Even one small cell can become a nice little Christmas craft - a tiny minguin or a small deer.

And to make the crumbs look like a solid children's work, they can be surrounded by decorations - a winter entourage. Christmas trees or ice floes, as is the case with penguins. Pieces of ice floes can be cut out of foam plastic - these liners are in your winter boots, or they are used as gaskets when transporting fragile goods or technical devices. Or you can just go to the hardware store (or to the construction department of the market
a) and buy a meter of thick wall insulation there - it also has such a structure.

New Year crafts

FROM PAPER FANS.

And we can also make crafts from a material that is convenient in designing - round fans folded from paper. The simplest construction is christmas tree. Here we stack the fans on top of each other in a festive pyramid - we get a Christmas tree, with our own hands.

Here is a visual tutorial showing the general principle of creating all-round fans. The main thing is to take a VERY LONG strip - so that its length in the folded accordion form is enough for rounding.

If you do not have such a long strip, you can fold 2 separate strips, and then glue them into one common long snake accordion.

And by the way, if on such an accordion on its ribs - and on its tips we make a pattern - then when the fan is turned into a circle, we will get an openwork snowflake. Also an independent New Year's craft with your own hands is obtained.

Paper fans can be used as decorative elements in the design of multi-layer paper Christmas decorations.

And also you can turn on your imagination and invent original New Year's voluminous applications from such paper fans.

The simplest thing that is quick and easy to do with your own hands is a Christmas wreath craft. Just a base-ring made of cardboard and a bunch of decorative fans to decorate the donut-base of the wreath.

These are the ideas you found today for yourself and your children. Now the matter is small. Evaluate the material available at home. And get to work.

Make your own piece magical holiday It's already a small miracle. And the New Year's spirit of happiness consists of small miracles.

May your hands create happiness. Happiness for the next New Year.

Happy New Year to the author of this article, Olga Klishevskaya.

What to do with kids on New Year's Eve? Of course, the manufacture of decorations for the Christmas tree. We offer simple and original ideas.

1. Figures made of thick cardboard

Snowmen, Christmas trees, balls, snowflakes, hearts, angels - you can choose any option. First, make a stencil out of paper, then take thick cardboard, and, applying the stencil, circle it. Next - cut the pattern along the contour, make a hole with an awl or a hole punch and add a rope. We decorate the resulting figure on both sides to your taste: you can draw funny faces, paste over with shiny wrapping paper, decorate with beads, sparkles or artificial snow.

2. Paper lanterns

Even a 3-year-old child can make such an ornament - of course, under mother's supervision. To do this, fold a rectangular sheet of colored paper lengthwise. From the side of the fold, make parallel cuts towards the free edges, not reaching them 1 cm. The distance between the cuts should be the same. Next, unfold the workpiece, overlap the edges of the flashlight and glue them to each other.

The second rectangle - the core of the flashlight, should be slightly narrower than the main part. Glue it in the form of a tube and attach it inside the flashlight. Cut out the handle and glue it to the figure. The flashlight is ready.

3. Volumetric stars

The little ones can handle this toy. Cut out two identical stars from thick cardboard. On the first, make a slot from the tip of the top to the center of the part, and on the other, from the top of the inner corner to the center. Now put one blank on another - you will get a voluminous star. Make a hole, thread a string and do not forget to decorate the toy.

4. Garland of pom-poms

When in the house Small child- not everyone dares to hang a classic electric garland on the Christmas tree. An excellent alternative would be the option of pompoms. The easiest way to make such a toy is to thread multi-colored pompoms on a thread and fasten them at an equal distance from each other. You can make fluffy balls yourself, or you can buy ready-made ones in a needlework store.

5. Candy

An elegant and very appetizing option. Any sweets in beautiful shiny candy wrappers will be used. You just need to attach a string to each candy and hang a “delicious” toy on the Christmas tree. A candy garland would be just as good. But if you do not want your child to begin to uncontrollably absorb mouth-watering Christmas tree decorations, make delicious toys yourself. To do this, you need to cut out rectangular blanks from wrapping paper, put a voluminous base in the center of each rectangle, for example, a bottle cap or a plastic case for a chocolate egg, wrap our candy with a candy wrapper and tie the edges with ribbons. And you can talk about the delicious “stuffing” of the crumbs a little later - there will be a surprise!

6. Balloons

The most natural Christmas decoration is, of course, a cone. It can be covered with colored shiny varnish, gilding, artificial snow, glued on cotton wool, small colored balls, sequins, sequins, decorated with ribbons and bows. To fix the decorated cone on the Christmas tree, you need to screw a small self-tapping screw into its base and attach a ribbon to it (or just tie it to the stem).

In addition, an ordinary cone can become the basis for a more complex toy: a fabulous animal, an angel, a snowman, Santa Claus with a Snow Maiden. Then you will need additional details that can be made from improvised materials: fabric, thread, beads, toothpicks, cotton wool.

7. Medals from caps

Plastic and iron lids of any diameter will be used: from milk, kefir or drinking water. First, make a hole in the side for the ribbon. You can do this with an awl. Then - give the lid a new color: silver, gold, white, red - it is most convenient to use a can of paint. After the lid dries on both sides, we begin to decorate its inside. There are also several options: for example, you can lay out a snowflake from beads, randomly glue spread out sequins, or manually draw some kind of pattern. And if you combine painted in White color three covers, you get an original snowman.

8. Rattle balls

To make this decor, you will need plastic cases from a toy made of chocolate eggs. To begin with, open the case and make a hole in the center of its upper part for the rope. Put it on right away. Further, everything is very simple: put some small but solid object in the case (it can be a screw, a couple of beans or a coin). Then - degrease the surface of the case - for example, with nail polish remover. Next, tightly closing it, apply a transparent all-purpose adhesive. The main condition is that the glue should not dry out instantly, otherwise you may not have time to apply the decor completely. You can immediately coat the entire case with glue and sprinkle with sequins, or you can decorate in parts, gluing individual elements.

9. Felt toys

Christmas decorations made of felt will make your Christmas tree truly homely, adding coziness to the interior. Buy multi-colored sheets of material at a needlework store, and for the baby to make a soft craft himself, cut out the desired part in duplicate. Next - put voluminous material between the halves: cotton wool, synthetic winterizer, felt trimmings, then sew both halves with threads of contrasting color. You can not be careful: careless stitches made by children's hands will look very original. You can decorate the toy with buttons, braid or sew on the necessary details from any other materials.

10. Snowflakes from ice cream sticks

Very simple and original idea. Take three ice cream sticks and furniture glue. Glue the sticks in the center, giving them the shape of a snowflake with six rays. Let the "designs" dry well. Then - start decorating the toy. You can paint a snowflake in one of the winter colors, decorate with beads or sequins, or wrap the rays with thin tinsel.

11. Snowflake-ballerina

All children love to cut out snowflakes from paper. Invite your child to make an unusual option - a paper ballerina. To do this, you need to make any round snowflake - it will become a ballerina's tutu. The more delicate the snowflake, the better. Next, cut out the body of the dancer from cardboard or thick paper. The final step is to make a hole in the center of the snowflake and put the skirt on the ballerina. The toy is ready!

12. Bulb balls

In any house there are a couple of ordinary burnt out incandescent lamps. So - do not throw them away, but store them carefully so that by the New Year you can make original balls with your child. First, make a hole in the base of the light bulb for the string. Depending on the shape of the lamp, come up with a decor: you can make a cone, an angel, a snowman or an animal. And you can - paint a light bulb from a spray can, draw a fantasy pattern with acrylic paint, paste over with rhinestones or cloth. Just remember that before working with glue and paints, the surface must be degreased.

13. Balloons from plastic bottles

Take plastic bottle from water, kefir or milk. Wash it well and clean it of glue. A transparent bottle with grooves around the perimeter is best suited - it will be easier to make rings along them. Via stationery knife cut three or four identical rings. The resulting irregularities of the parts can be removed with scissors. Now insert one ring into the other, alternately gluing the points of contact with universal glue. Let the glue dry and proceed to the decor, having previously fixed the ribbon and degreased the rings. You can simply glue beads, buttons, sequins, braid, or apply a pattern with nail polish.
