Winter boots for hunting and fishing - rating of the best. Footwear for hunting in autumn and winter: selection rules and recommendations Footwear for fishermen in extreme frosts

In any sport and activity, the right equipment plays an important role influencing the result. Hunting is no exception. Winter clothing and footwear for hunting must be warm, waterproof and well mask the hunter, making him invisible against the general background of the area.

Winter hunting: shoes

It is a very important piece of hunting equipment. According to the requirements that apply to it, hunting shoes are very similar to tourist shoes. It must be moisture resistant, reliable, of high quality and, importantly, comfortable to wear.

If earlier hunters wore what was available, now there is no problem to find and purchase special high-quality hunting boots. Manufacturers offer a variety of models and sizes of such equipment.

Important Factors

If a winter shoes for hunting is purchased by you for the first time, pay attention to several important factors that will help you not to make a mistake with the purchase. First, it is the type of terrain. Even a beginner understands that one shoe is needed for hunting in the steppe, and completely different shoes for climbing mountains or gorges. Secondly, the type of hunting plays an important role. Thirdly, the specifics of the fishery also affect the choice of boots or boots. The extraction of ducks or other birds near a reservoir requires one shoe, and field hunting, say, for a hare or a wild boar, another.

Season

An important point is the weather conditions under which it is planned to go fishing. If the weather changes, then the hunter must also adapt to its changes, choosing suitable type shoes. In the summer, hunting shoes are comfortable boots, light and comfortable sneakers or low boots.

Unstable weather in spring and late autumn dictates different conditions for choosing hunting equipment. Rubber boots, which are often called swamps, will already be appropriate here. This is the most comfortable option and the most profitable hunting shoes in autumn and winter, when slush, dampness and cold prevail.

How to choose swamps

Swamps are hunting boots that require a separate discussion. As a rule, they are equipped with a warm insert - a stocking, which warms the legs and protects from the piercing wind. Given that in the cold season, additional woolen socks are put on and a felt insole is placed, it is recommended to buy swamp boots one or even two sizes larger. Thus, the most comfortable conditions are created: the legs are warm and comfortable.

How to choose the right wading boots for hunting? AT Soviet time The choice was small, but the quality of the products was on top. Swamps were worn at that time for a very long time and served the hunter, as they say, faithfully. At present, as experienced specialists say, the usual black “Soviet” swamp shoes are no longer the same high-quality and reliable shoes as before. Connoisseurs do not recommend purchasing cheap models of boots in the "Soviet version". They will last a maximum of a couple of years, and then they will begin to tear and burst at the fold.

Try to find the best value for money. Modern manufacturers offer several models that are successful in terms of quality. One of them are boots with soft tops. Such autumn and winter hunting shoes will be the best option. These boots are very light and comfortable, they can be rolled up if necessary. And during long hunting dashes through the fields, this is a rather significant factor. The only disadvantage of such shoes is the special fastening straps for the tops, which you will have to carry with you, fastening it on your belt. This is not always convenient.

When choosing any hunting shoes in the store, be sure to try them on and check all accessories, fasteners, locks, seams and soles for defects.

Boots, boots...

If a trip to the forest is planned for the winter, then completely different hunting shoes will be appropriate here. The best choice- These are boots. It is not worth saving on the quality of products. They must be soft, comfortable and of high quality. Experienced hunters recommend buying boots two sizes larger and wearing them in at home for several days before going out. Felt boots tend to knead the legs if they are new. Spend a couple of days breaking in your shoes at home, and then they will not cause discomfort on the street.

Winter is sometimes not only frosty and snowy, but also slushy and rainy. In this case, it is recommended to put on additional galoshes or insert a rubber insole on the felt boots. Thus, getting on the unfrozen part of the reservoir and scooping water with your foot, you will not get wet. Very often, hunters use special shoe covers in such weather. They are quickly and easily put on boots and protect hunting boots from getting wet. In addition, shoe covers warm the foot well.

Choice of clothes

Almost all hunting clothing is selected according to the “cabbage” method, that is, it consists of three or more layers. The lower one, which is close to the body, must retain heat well and be soft and comfortable to wear. It is better if this layer is made of a special thermal fabric, which retains heat and absorbs sweat well. The choice of thermal underwear is a very responsible process. Properly selected clothing will protect against hypothermia.

The next layer of "cabbage" is a thing that is already worn over thermal underwear. It is responsible for ventilation and proper heat balance. According to professionals, fleece products are best suited, as well as natural wool.

The third, outer layer of clothing for hunting is a jacket or a special hunting suit. This type of ammunition is responsible for protection from the wind, for repelling moisture and creating a competent disguise. The colors will depend on the type of hunting, weather conditions and terrain.

Experts and experienced hunters recommend buying products made of membrane fabric, which simultaneously pushes out the moisture accumulated inside and does not let in the outside. The tex mark on the label indicates that such material was used when sewing. The outer layer of the "cabbage" is a jacket. It must be one size larger. This will give the hunter the opportunity to put on another set of underwear if necessary.

When preparing for winter hunting and fishing, carefully prepare your equipment. Pay special attention to the choice of shoes, as a lot depends on it during outdoor activities. If your feet are cold, wet, your boots rub, then you most likely will not get any pleasure or result. In this article, you will learn how to choose proper shoes and you can get acquainted with the rating of the best boots.

shoe requirements

When choosing winter boots for hunting and fishing, it is necessary to take into account the requirements for their functionality:

  • The weight. Boots should be light, despite the many layers of insulation, as well as the heaviness of the sole.
  • Sustainability. Their soles must be equipped with grooved protectors. Otherwise, the owner of the boots will not be able to stand on various surfaces: ice, unsteady or marshy soil.
  • High thermal insulation. Feet in boots should not freeze and get wet at various temperatures. And also should not sweat when warming.
  • Coverage Reliability. Boots should not crack from a drop in temperature.
  • Removable insulation. For high-quality models of boots, the layers of insulation can be replaced with new ones if necessary, cleaning, drying.
  • Correctly selected size. Boots should fit true to size, or 1-2 sizes up. Otherwise, with a long wait for prey, the ankle and the foot itself will experience discomfort: fatigue, the appearance of corns, diaper rash, or vice versa, frostbite.
  • Boot shaft structure. On high-quality popular models, a comfortable lace is sewn in at the top of the bootleg, which tightens the edges of the bootleg and prevents moisture and dirt from entering the shoe. Winter boots for fishing and hunting should not fit the leg, there should be room for warm socks and thick pants.

Important! When choosing winter boots for hunting and fishing, it is necessary to be guided by the height of the lower leg for passing through high-standing water or snowdrifts. If the water/snow level is high, the foot may get wet.

When buying men's winter boots for fishing and hunting, you need to consider in what weather conditions they will be used, and in which region. Also, expect that active rest can be delayed in time for several days. The comfort and safety of shoes in this case are extremely important. Based on these indicators, consumers can choose the appropriate type of shoes:

Winter boots for hunting

Separately, it is worth mentioning about winter boots for hunting. Take on 1-2 sizes up. Boots are often fitted with thick insoles and thicker natural wool socks. It is worth paying special attention to the rise of the purchased shoes. Choose exactly the same instep as in your everyday shoes. This is necessary in order to easily take off the boots. It also allows the blood to circulate easily, giving a feeling of spaciousness and comfort. We must not forget about the height of the shaft, as well as in shoes for winter fishing. Even if the hunt is organized in early spring, you should not wear low shoes.

Example. When hunting capercaillie, which takes place in April, the snow still lies, and in some places it is quite deep. If the hunter takes low shoes with thin soles, he may get his feet wet and, as a result, get sick or be unable to continue active recreation.

Tarpaulin or cowhide winter boots hunters recommend to wear shoes in mild frosts. Be sure to insert warm insoles into the shoes, as well as footcloths. It is recommended to soak the toes of shoes with a specialized shoe ointment on the eve of the hunt. Or castor oil for better waterproofing and to increase flexibility.

CHF Tundra, winter. The price is 5400 rubles. Upper: nubuck, thermoplastic sole, insulation: thinsulate. One of the best winter hunting boots.

Arkhar-ACB002. Keeps warm up to -25, good in movement, the weight of one boot is 1250 grams. Waterproof material, genuine leather. Norfin Siberia. The average price is 3200 rubles. Extremely warm thick insole, 4 main layers, the upper elephant is made of a special breathable Thinsulate material, the remaining 3 layers are polypropylene, felt and aluminum foil. One of the best winter boots on the market right now.

Boots for winter hunting should also be high. Most often they are made from thermoplastic elastomer. They can be hunted at temperatures up to 50. The top of such boots reaches a height of at least 40 cm, and in the upper part there is a sewn-on textile extension that does not allow moisture to pass through. The multi-layered stocking of winter boots for hunting should not allow the foot to rub in the area of the sole and heel. The sole is equipped with spikes that do not allow slipping on ice or crust.

Important! For running hunting, boots should be light models. Otherwise, the steps will become heavy and clumsy. Which can cause discomfort and premature fatigue.

Material types

There are five main materials from which winter hunting boots are made.

  1. Leather Products. Leather boots perfectly fit the bootleg and foot, even with thick pants and socks, which is a definite plus. Also natural and elastic material creates a feeling of comfort and reliability. Impregnations inside the boot, which do not allow air and moisture to pass through, make leather shoes universal for hunting and fishing.
  2. Rubber Shoes. These are the most waterproof boots. However, these boots must be heavily insulated with warm socks. In this case, stockings made of wool or fur can also help. Without these measures, the leg will simply freeze, since rubber boots easily give off heat.
  3. neoprene shoes. It has excellent performance in thermal insulation, moisture resistance, strength, elasticity. A powerful protector is inserted into them; it will not prevent slipping on crust or ice. Neoprene shoes securely fix the foot, thereby making it possible to move quickly.
  4. PU boots. Such shoes are characterized by lightness, high rates of strength and thermal insulation. They are insulated with fur, so the hunter will be extremely comfortable in them. Polyurethane has an anti-slip effect.
  5. Felt boots. Traditional northern shoes are used by hunters with pleasure. The only negative is that boots require special care.

Felt boots are considered classic footwear for winter hunting. They must be strictly in size, otherwise they can constrain the leg or rub blisters. The ideal option would be worn and hemmed boots. In them, the hunter's feet will feel comfortable and warm. When choosing felt boots, you need to choose light colors. Brown or black give out a hunter in the snow.

If the boots are too high, for example, above the kneecap, they restrict walking and complicate hunting. In order to prevent snow from getting into the bootleg, warm pants need to be pulled over the shoes. If a thaw comes, then a felt sole is sewn to the felt boots. It is laid with a leather insole in the space between the boots and the sole. Instead of traditional boots, depending on the climate and the characteristics of the region, hunters choose high fur boots, torbaza.

How to care for winter boots for hunting and fishing

Shoes made from neoprene, does not require serious care. Only cleaning from dirt after the completion of outdoor activities. Neoprene itself is extremely resistant to various solvents, synthetic fluids, alkalis. That is why they can be stored anywhere.

Similarly, boots made of rubber. However, unlike neoprene, store them in a dry place. Shoes made of polyurethane also do not require specialized care. Moreover, it is able to self-clean due to the unique properties of the material.

But for marsh and rubber boots require careful care. They can not dry out, you can not stay in a frozen room. Otherwise, the material becomes brittle, and microcracks may appear, which subsequently begin to let water through.

Care felt boots the most energy intensive. They need to be kept from moths, dust, water. It can only be cleaned with a fine sandpaper or a brush of moderate hardness. It is absolutely impossible to wash these shoes under water. And for the period of storage, felt boots should be wrapped in newspapers or polyethylene.

What to look for when buying

There are several nuances of shoes for the winter period of outdoor activities. For example:

  1. When shoes of this type are made, they are not glued together, and the parts of the boots are welded into each other;
  2. When choosing boots made of EVA, it is worth considering that they are not puncture resistant;
  3. After buying boots for winter hunting and fishing, they must be carried;
  4. With the most elastic sole, the legs will feel less tired;
  5. It is easier to care for shoes that have a removable heat-insulating insert;
  6. Buying boots should be taken care of in specialized stores in order to avoid acquiring a fake;
  7. The deeper the tread pattern, the greater the stability of the boots.

It is necessary to sum up, taking into account all the variety of information presented. Shoes for winter hunting and fishing must be broken in beforehand. When buying, you need to take 1-2 sizes larger than regular shoes, but with about the same rise. Take care of your shoes based on the material they are made from and check your boots ahead of time. With such simple actions, hunting and fishing in the winter will become one of the most favorite and comfortable activities.

Through the puddles with pleasure

Rubber boots are different from ordinary ones, so you need to choose them a little differently.

Firstly, these shoes never "sit on the foot" and do not break - the wrong material. Rubber, like other polymers, alas, will never get a comfortable shape on the leg, will not remember your gait. It has a completely different purpose - rubber boots will protect you better than any other from dampness in rainy weather, they are indispensable for hunting, fishing, and mushroom picking.

Secondly, there is a specificity in the manufacture of rubber boots: the upper material is not sewn together with threads, but welded or glued at the seams. This is understandable, but if the seams are of poor quality, then you are guaranteed wet feet.

Therefore, let's see what well-known and reliable brands offer us. They have to have everything to the highest standard.

best mens rubber boots

Estimated price for the Hunter H MFT9000RMA BLK from the Hunter Original Tall collection: 6000 rubles

The best rubber boots for fishing, hunting and forestry are Hunter boots. The model in the photo is with a top height of 370 mm, i.е. above mid-calf. This length is considered the most comfortable for rubber boots for any occasion. If there is no need to go deep into the water, then there is no need to choose a high top, it is inconvenient for long trips. The size just above the middle of the calf creates the greatest comfort when walking, at the same time quite reliably protecting the foot from moisture and insects. For the convenience of refueling trousers in boots, the bootleg expands upwards.

Additional comfort is provided by the orthopedic pads on which these boots are made, and multilayer soft insoles made of natural materials. The lining is made of nylon, an easy-to-clean and quick-drying material. The heel is low - 3 cm, the shape of the foot is classic, the sole is stable.

The only thing you can blame the manufacturer of these boots is their decent weight. They are made of rubber, practically without the use of other polymers, which makes it almost impossible to reduce the weight of the product without sacrificing quality.

Keddo fulfills all requirements of waterproof footwear. But you won't be as comfortable in it as, say, a Hunter, it's not as durable as a CROCS, it doesn't have the masculinity of a Baffin Titan or the gentility of a Burberry. They are just good rubber boots.

Reviews: “I took the most inexpensive rubber boots - Keddo: I thought it would be enough for a day, and then it’s not a pity to throw it away. However, I have been taking them to nature for the 3rd year, and nothing is being done to the boots. Lucky."

“I bought through the online store, the size just approached. Warm. But the colors in the photo and in real life are very different. The boots turned out to be nondescript, completely without shine and not bright, as on the site.

What are the best rubber boots to buy?

Choose the ones you like. But if little is known about the rubber boots you like, there are no reviews on them on the Internet, and your friends make surprised eyes when you tell them the name of the manufacturer, then there is a chance to purchase uncomfortable or low-quality shoes that you will try not to get out of closet so as not to be upset. Therefore, choose boots of famous brands.

Yes, they are often more expensive than Chinese underground ones, but do not forget what we talked about at the beginning of this article. If rubber boots do not suit you, then this is forever. The participants of our rating practically do not have punctures - both literally and figuratively.

When planning winter fishing, the closest attention should be paid to the selection of specialized equipment. Sports shops offer a wide range of shoes designed exclusively for fishing in the winter - from traditional felt boots with galoshes to modern boots and winter boots.

Variation in prices for winter shoes

Good footwear for fishing in winter should be not only comfortable and warm, but also functional. It should provide feet with protection from low temperatures and moisture, and also have a dense sole with a deep tread that allows you to feel confident on slippery surfaces.

In stores there are winter shoes for fishing in various price categories. The cost can vary from a few hundred rubles to ten thousand and more. Approximately, you can divide the entire range into three classes.

From 300 to 1500 rubles

This class includes shoes of domestic and Chinese manufacturers. Among Russian-made products, you can find shoes of a fairly high quality, but you need to approach her choice very carefully.

First of all, you should pay special attention to the appearance of shoes. They should not give the impression of being worn. The surface should be carefully examined. It should not show even small cracks., spots of dried glue and burrs. After that, you need to check the quality of the seams. If there are no protruding ends of the threads, you can try to opt for these boots.

It happens in different ways: among domestic shoes, boots can be found that can last for decades, but there are also those that will become unusable after the first fishing trip. The most common drawback of cheap Russian shoes is that they are quite heavy.

In no case should you buy cheap Chinese-made shoes: high-quality products are very rare among them.

From 1500 to 3500 rubles

Among the entire range of footwear for hunting and fishing in the winter, which belong to the middle price range, footwear made in Poland from Lemigo is a pleasant surprise. They are lightweight, excellent appearance, well save heat, and the feet in them almost do not sweat. But they also have one significant drawback - high fragility. When packing these boots in a backpack, care must be taken not to break their tops. The creases obtained in this way cannot be corrected most often.

Domestic footwear is also found in this price category. Their main disadvantages are the same as those of the more affordable ones - you can never be sure of their service life. True, among boots that are quite expensive for a Russian manufacturer, high-quality ones can be found much more often than among cheaper ones.

Over 3500 rubles

Well-known manufacturing companies offer their customers high-quality shoes made from modern materials. The benefits of fishing shoes from renowned high end brands such as Baffin, Irish Setter or Kamik are undeniable.

In the boots of these manufacturers your feet will always be warm and dry. Such a thing will not become unusable from the slightest change in the weather. These comfortable and lightweight boots can be used not only for winter fishing, but also for simple forest walks. Their cost, of course, is much higher than that of Polish and Russian manufacturers. But for your money, you will get universal boots that will last without any complaints for many years.

Requirements for boots for winter fishing

Basic requirements for winter fishing shoes:

  • Light weight. In winter, it is extremely difficult to go through snowdrifts and deep snow to the place of future fishing with a full backpack of equipment. Therefore, despite the increased thickness of the sole and the presence of multilayer insulation, such shoes should be light.
  • Good grip on any surface. The sole should have a pronounced deep tread or a special spike that will not allow the shoe to slide on ice.
  • Improved thermal insulation. High-quality, modern and properly selected insulation material should ensure the preservation of heat during long periods of immobility.

When choosing and buying winter boots, be sure to you should pay attention to the following:

Rubber feet sweat a lot. Afterwards, they naturally freeze.
There is such. But what would it not be so strong, you need to wind the footcloths thicker or make a pie of thermal socks + hot ones.
You can buy rubber boots that are worn over regular boots. Here somewhere on the Hansa traded such.
The whole problem is, with the temperature differences you indicated, no matter what super fancy boots you buy, they will be damp in a maximum of two days of walking in the snow. Completely. Absolutely have to dry by the fire or anywhere else. I doubt that newfangled shoes with a membrane or something else will endure such treatment and dry completely in a few hours. Boots and footcloths / socks are easier to dry separately than these pies of newfangled materials.
everything is natural IMHO

I'll speak for the boots.
But which ones - this, as already mentioned above, depends on the preferences and the number of banknotes for the purchase of shoes.
In my humble opinion, not necessarily correct, if you walk far and long in boots, it’s better to put them on footcloths (flannel from baby blankets, cloth or fleece). I prefer cloth and fleece. Well, or a sandwich from trekking, thick woolen socks and trimming women's tights on top.

I haven’t seen Nazi’s boots, I have them entirely made of EVA with a fur liner, VERY light, they practically don’t feel on the leg, the sole is not very tenacious, well, it still rips a little, although I only wear it in the snow.
Those that Naziia does, I think, above zero and a little lower will be good, minus 15, I think they won’t pull, although if you wrap an overcoat ...

Boots made of material "EVA" (ethylene vinyl acetate) in the cold to -15 ..-20 gr C begin to "tan" and make noise.

keep in mind if you take it for sea hunting.

"EVA" is a good thermal insulator, so at +10 C with active movement my legs really "cook" in them - just have time to change your socks for dry ones. As for me - shoes from "EVA" for cool weather and light frost.

Although the price, of course, is more than attractive. I would definitely recommend "EVA" galoshes for bivouac (light, comfortable, comfortable) - just keep them away from fire.

Merker
Boots made of polyurethane foam...
up to -20 - excellent, with a thermal sock and an insert, of course.
We sell Polish and Rostov in sports stores and stores such as metrics, obi. They cost 600-700 rubles. You just need to choose those whose soles are thicker.
Light (very, I don’t know any alternatives at all), warm, it doesn’t get wet, and yes, it still floats (lovers of sinking boats in forest lakes will appreciate it).
Disadvantages - can be pierced with knots, deformed from fire. If you run through the swamps of the Leningrad region, the wear is small, I have been walking for three years already. Stones can and will be erased quickly ...
There are probably better shoes - but in terms of price / quality ratio - hardly.

Yes, I will also sign under these boots - the manufacturer may be different, but the essence is the same - the material and thickness of the sole + put in a felt insole + 2 cotton socks at - 26.3-5 hours on the room after 1.5 km along snowy trails - according to FIG smoke, but the companies selling them are being demolished right now and the price is up to 1000 rubles ... mine is 2 years old, only the outer edges of the heels were noticeably demolished.

I tried a lot of things, settled on Soviet kirzachs a size larger with a woolen sock and a cloth footcloth at -15, it’s colder only tipper boots for the same set, with new moish to sit on the leg, over stockings ozk.cheap and angry.

I just want to say ... - There is no bar in pants, but not a hunter in a fur coat ...

I'm leaning more and more towards these BAFFIN HUNTER boots. Who has used these and what are the reviews?

There are similar, Buffin Trappers. Rubber boot on the outside, multi-layer liner on the inside. I use them for fishing in the winter. Up to -25 normul in statics, if lower, then socks freeze slightly. On the go, they are comfortable up to -30 (did not wear below). They have a cunning system for removing moisture, it condenses on the inside of the boot, but the feet are ALWAYS dry in them, no matter what sock you put on))). My father has a Buffin Titan, so they are too warm, on the move at -20 the legs "burn" a little. On the Baffin website, you need to look at what temperature they are calculated for.

An interesting selection of temperatures - from +10 to -15 ... Where does it happen? In the sense that for some reason I thought that in warm weather (from +15 to -5) rubber / PVC boots are needed, and in cold weather (from -5 to -30) shoe covers. This is with a fairly wet substrate under my feet and experience since 1994. Understand correctly, maybe I’m wrong, of course, and super_duper_nanotechnological shoes with Swarovski crystals can’t afford me, but ... why not from +60 to - 60? Did you go out in the middle of Asia in the summer, went to Taimyr in the winter? Stand/sit? Or run/carry meat? IMHO, the main thing is to keep your feet dry.

Jerv 07.10.2011 - 23:07

I have one friend. He runs for half the winter in rubber black soft boots. Two sizes larger, with an insole, with a footcloth. But he is a healthy elk - he can run around the gullies for fifteen hours after wild boars and martens and run away home. I personally can’t. Therefore, my shoes and clothes are warmer. So, for YOUR health, look and how PERSONALLY YOU usually hunt. Maybe you just walk cleanly along the fields and the terrain is flat ... Or maybe, like my friend, you run through ravines.

It’s better to shoot yourself than to mock yourself in such shoes while hunting ...

All right! OZK will give a ride when you don’t have to go far!
On a business trip in the 90s through the mud, they tried this option (OZK over berets). You can sit in a trench, you can walk slowly (and not for long), but if you run figurines !!!

And for two years I went to P oridginal (Swedish boots made of polyurethane, and inside a sheep). In the forest at +5 I put on a simple sock, and at -15-20, a thick thermal cap. If you had to stand on the room for a long time, and then also wait for the dogs, then after 2 hours your legs began to freeze, you just started walking and everything heated up again. But the comfort when walking, the weight, the last of the boots are just super. The average price is 4000 rubles, but on the forum someone offered cheaper, I can’t find it. But this year I gave them to my father, since I have 43, and I bought them in size 43 and stuffed them while walking thumb. This year I bought a poppy bot, I will try, but they sit on my leg somehow worse. Other friends wear Toptygin, they are also satisfied and they are cheaper. And kirzachi and gum in the cold, no, it was applied, technology does not stand still. You get used to good things quickly. I’m also embarrassed by wet boots, but in my opinion there will always be snow where the laces are, and decent boots are much more expensive than polyurethane. Something like that

klin611 24.10.2011 - 08:55

why did they ignore the high boots? There is nothing better for winter.

High fur boots - this is walking around the winter hut with a glass ...
I don’t know about you, we have a winter running ski. Quite to yourself. Or somewhere in the winter someone walks knee-deep in snow in rubber?

Check out a review about them. Shoes are specific and original, out of habit, they can "amaze" a little. Even some people are just scared. Acquaintances at first would be in some shock, until it came to use, the situation changed to the opposite.

I will tell my experience. For 10 days in a row I walked at least 20 km a day in -5 -15 frost. I went alternately in simple rubber ones for 250 rubles and in such http://www.badger.ru/shop/catalog/wear/muckboots/wetland/.

Feel: Macboots are very comfortable to wear. The legs didn't get tired. put on thermal socks + thick woolen tops. Feet did not freeze and were dry.

Simple boots were worn with Makbutov insoles (Good insoles do not absorb moisture) thermal socks + woolen + cotton. They are softer than macboots, the first 10 km is easier to walk, but when I returned home, my whole foot hurt. The leg did not freeze in them, the outer cotton sock, the tip of which was in the ice, was once replaced with a dry one.

When walking in both boots, the outer socks (woolen and cotton) were always wet, the thermal socks were dry - the leg did not freeze.

Conclusion: macboots are a class for a running gear, provided it is possible to dry it overnight (It takes a long time to dry - it stuffed with toilet paper, it helped), it is protected from punctures. Simple rubber boots are also not bad, having a replaceable set of socks will not freeze you. But they do not protect against punctures, but the price ...
