Postcard scrapbooking tuxedo with long sleeves. Do it yourself: postcard "Men's tuxedo and tie"

Tuxedo Postcard Master Class

At present, souvenirs and gifts made by hand and in various techniques. I propose to make a postcard for a man (for grandfather, dad, brother, classmate, colleague, boss, etc.) in the scrapbooking style. I will make a reservation right away that there are already similar master classes on the Internet, both photo and video reports. I want to lay out my own, simpler, especially for schoolchildren.

Goal: making postcards using the scrapbooking technique.

Time: 60-90 minutes.

Target Audience: Middle and high school students.

To make a postcard you will need:

1. Double-sided black cardboard measuring 15x22.5 cm + clippings for a butterfly and a pocket.
2. Double-sided cardboard white color or White paper.
3. PVA glue.
4. Scissors.
5. Ruler, pencil.

Let's start making a postcard.

Let's make a tuxedo first. For clarity, I showed the process of making a tuxedo on white paper, because. lines are not visible on black cardboard. In principle, you can make a template on white paper and practice a little, and then perform the same steps on black cardboard.

So, let's take a sheet of paper measuring 15x22.5 cm (if you decide to make a tuxedo right out of cardboard, then take a piece of black cardboard of the appropriate size). On the sheet, mark up as shown in the following figure. You should get two vertical lines.

Then fold the sheet along these two lines. Please note that the front of the tuxedo to your right will be wider.

Further on the sheet from the outside of both shelves makes markings for lapels. On the shelf to your left, measure 2.5 cm to the left and 8 cm down and draw a line. On the shelf to your right, measure 3 cm to the right and 8 cm down and draw a line.

Having practiced on white paper, we perform similar actions with black cardboard (if you immediately started working with cardboard, then proceed to the next step).

This is what the base of the tuxedo looks like in a cardboard version. Our blank of white paper, on which we trained, was used as a shirt. If you didn’t make a template, then simply cut out a piece of white paper measuring 11x15 cm, round the shoulders and put it in a tuxedo.

Glue the bowtie onto the shirt.

Next, we decorate the tuxedo with a pocket and buttons. For the pocket, I took a piece of black cardboard measuring 1x2 cm and a piece of white paper for a handkerchief. We glue both pieces and glue them to the base on the shelf to the right of us. We glue beads in place of the buttons, I have it in white.

Our tuxedo is ready! It remains to sign the postcard. In the photo below, I showed where you can make an inscription.

Here is the finished postcard!

Thank you for watching!

1. A4 cardboard (I ran out of dark-colored cardboard and therefore
I used what I had, and this is mother-of-pearl milk-colored cardboard).
2. Ruler and pencil
3. Scissors
4. Thermal gun
5. Glue stick
6. Satin ribbon approximately 45 cm
7. Knitting needle (in my case, this is the accessories that I found in the sewing box)
8. 2 buttons
Let's start with the pattern of the jacket. We take cardboard, a ruler, a pencil and begin to draw all the lines and bends. I give you all my measurements:

All this is carefully cut out along the lines, it should turn out like this:

This is done in order to fold evenly and neatly and get this jacket:

Next, we take on the shirt, his collar and tie.
For the collar on paper, we draw the following measurements:

We cut, bend and get this collar:

For the shirt, the text itself, congratulations, invitations, i.e., that
you need to write or print and adjust the sizes to fit the jacket.
We glue the "text shirt" to the jacket, here's what I got:

Let's get a tie. Take a 45cm satin ribbon and cut 40cm,
do not throw away the remaining 5 cm, we will need them. From a tape of 40 cm
tie like a regular tie, choose a convenient scheme for yourself:

We cut off the edge with an angle so that the edges do not crumble, carefully burn with a lighter or a candle:

Do it yourself: postcard "Men's tuxedo and tie". Master Class

A little history of these cards: Initially, such a card was supposed to be turned into an invitation card on the eve of my husband's 30th birthday. This could be ordered, but the desire to do it yourself and make the hero of the day and invited guests happy is worth such a lot. The number of invitations was 55 pieces and the costs were minimal, and the mood and pleasure was great.
However, I think that such a postcard on February 23 will become nice gift any man!

So, let's begin.

4. We cut out the lapels of the jacket from velvet paper:

6. Instead of buttons (well, I didn’t find the same small buttons), I decided to use something like rivets found in long-standing stocks:

Addition from me. When posting, I could not correctly transfer the link to the pattern. I do not understand what's wrong, but it did not open for me. Therefore, I printed the pattern using the link (which is located in), then scanned it, and only then posted it here. If anyone wants to print the pattern from the source himself, then just open the source and that's it. Forgive me, but I'm such an expert.
