The main thing is to collect a lot of plants of different sizes and shapes. However, sometimes there are no suitable leaves in stock, as in the case presented, so you have to use scissors.

So, to create the application "Sun" from the leaves, we prepared:

5 pieces of yellow maple leaves;
plasticine details: eyes, nose and mouth;
2 birch leaves;
1 acacia leaf;
blue cardboard for the base;
PVA glue;
scissors.

At the same time, we got watercolors and brushes in advance. Suddenly we can’t cope with the design of the hands and feet of the character, using exclusively natural materials? So, we will finish the missing elements of the small sun.

So let's get started. First, we cut the blades of four maple leaves of the same size and color into strips about 0.5 - 0.7 cm wide. These are the sun's rays. We leave the parts for half an hour to the side so that the strips are slightly tied and deformed. So the rays will acquire additional volume and type of flame. After all, we know for certain that the sun is a fiery star.

Now we need to glue the rays so that we get a circle (albeit imperfect). In the center of the circle we place a whole Maple Leaf, on which the eyes, nose and mouth of the sun will be located.

And here, in fact, are the glued plasticine parts. By the way, trying to attach them to the surface of fresh leaves is an impossible task. Plasticine does not stick to the plant surface. I wonder why?
