Making a beautiful and creative hat using only junk material is not at all difficult. Take a thick cardboard and cut out a circle of the desired diameter from it. Then prepare a jar of plastic, cut off the bottom and firmly glue it in the middle of the circle. It turns out an excellent preparation. Wrap the jar and cardboard fields of the hat with twine (do not forget to use glue for fastening). It is better if the twine is light color. Soak it in bleach before working.

As you can see, do-it-yourself autumn hat is easy to make. Now all you need is decor.

Cut out many circles of different sizes from the fabric, combine flowers from them and decorate with any bead in the middle. Spray paint the hat (gold paint is ideal). Take sisal and wrap the craft in the middle. Then glue on the flowers. Do-it-yourself autumn hat is ready.

How to make a crown for an Autumn costume?

Draw different leaves on cardboard and cut out patterns from them. Now prepare any fabric of orange shades and cut out two semicircles from it. In size, they should correspond with the largest autumn leaf template.

On one of the semicircles we redraw the sheet, on the second - we impose a synthetic winterizer. Place the second semicircle on top and sew them together. Using a sewing machine and black thread, draw lines (veins) on the surface of the sheet. A zigzag stitch is perfect for this.

Now we cut out the sheet along the contour. Do the same for a few more leaves. We cut out the base of the crown from poriplex and sheathe it with a yellow cloth. This do-it-yourself autumn hat is not made too quickly, but everyone present at the holiday will definitely like it. We return to work: we sheathe the lower and upper parts of the crown with lace of a suitable color and attach leaves to it.

Autumn hat: DIY craft from maple leaves

To create a creative headdress, you will need a lot of real maple leaves, about three hundred pieces.

To begin with, we sort the leaves by size: the largest are needed for the crown, the small ones are for the fields, and the middle leaves will be the main “working area”. Do not forget that leaves with long tails are needed for weaving.

We cut the cuttings at an acute angle. We bend the first large sheet in half, piercing it with a sharp tail of the second large sheet. Each next sheet, as it were, "flashes" the previous one. The result is a circle. At the edges we fix the leaves folded in half. They form fields. An already beautiful hat can be additionally decorated with rowan berries. It turns out a creative autumn craft hat that will decorate any interior. It is interesting to create with your own hands not only for children, but also for adults.

How can you decorate an autumn hat?

The Parade of Autumn Hats took place in Simferopol. hat competition in kindergarten passed in all age groups. Parents liked the idea of the contest very much, and many expressed their desire to take part in it and compete for the title of the author of the best autumn hat.

Parents of preschool children and the children themselves approached the creative task with full responsibility. What kind of hats were not here: and hats with sewn models of fruits, vegetables, leaves; and hats made from waste material; and flirty hats knitted by caring hands of mothers. There were even such hats in which, thanks to plasticine, it was possible to embody certain plot on an autumn theme.

The hat competition in kindergarten was held in several stages.

Stage 1 - organizing an exhibition of works by parents and children.

Stage 2 - a hat competition in kindergarten in your age group.

Among the nominations were "the most beautiful", "the most unusual", "the most fun", "the most chic" and others. This stage of the competition was carried out through entertainment held in each group. The celebration was attended by: leaders of the preschool institution, specialists from the duu (competition jury), employees, children of other age groups of their choice and some parents.

Preschool children in their beautiful headdresses sang, danced, played relay races, fairy-tale characters came to them.

At the end of the competition, each child's hat was appreciated (of course, everyone got into some category). The jury members congratulated and presented gifts to the children.

Each group had its own scenario of entertainment and organization of the event.

Stage 3 - a photo session with children in hats.

Stage 4 - holding the holiday "Defile of autumn hats".

The defile was attended by guests of the Improvement Institute. Children took part in the parade senior group. The holiday ended with a wonderful dance, during which preschoolers demonstrated the beauty of their creative works.

At the end of the project, some hats remained in the kindergarten. They still serve as a decoration for the kindergarten.

Here you can see a variety of animals made of cones and chestnuts, bouquets of leaves, autumn houses, panels and much more. An original exhibit of such an exhibition can be an autumn hat-craft, which can simultaneously perform several functions: serve as an interior decoration, be a headdress for Autumn or for a child participating in a thematic dance. Many kindergartens even hold fashion shows and contests with the participation of such hats.

We make an autumn craft hat: how to make a base

To create such a craft, you will need a base in the form of a hat. The easiest option is to take a purchased hat (for example, a straw one) and decorate it, but such a wardrobe item is not always on hand, so you can make it yourself.

The most accessible material from which you can make the base is paper. To make a classic cylinder hat, you will need thick paper, a plate, scissors, and glue.

We measure the girth of the head of the child or the one to whom the hat is intended. We divide this number in half, add a couple of centimeters for gluing, cut out two strips of cardboard of such a width, the height of the strip will be equal to the height of the hat.
We glue the two resulting strips with each other into one, close it in a circle, glue it again, we get a “pipe”.
Along the bottom of the cylinder, we make cuts about two centimeters deep and wide, bend them outward, and set the part aside.
Prepare the brim of the hat. We circle a large plate on a piece of paper. Inside the resulting circle we place the top of the cylinder, circle it. Cut out the resulting edges.
Lubricate the cuts on the cylinder with glue, connect it with the fields.
In order to “close” the top of the cylinder, draw a circle on paper along it, add a couple of centimeters in width, cut it out. We also make cuts, bend, glue.

Cooking a simple decor for an autumn hat with natural materials

The most interesting thing is ahead - decorating the hat. For this we need:

glue gun;
paint or fabric;
autumn leaves;
Rowan;
dry flowers;
cones, acorns, etc.

If a hat made of paper will serve as the basis, then it should first be painted with paints, or covered with a cloth, you can also paste over a colored or corrugated paper. Further decoration of the hat is an absolutely creative process in which there are no restrictions. It can be completely covered with autumn leaves and other decorations, or you can make a bright accent in one or more places. An original autumn hat can be made from maple leaves. It will only require leaves in large quantities (about 250), scissors and an awl or knitting needle. The leaves can be of different sizes and colors, the main thing is that they are soft and must have long cuttings.

Now, along the edge, we attach fields of leaves folded in half. It turns out a hat. It can also be decorated, for example, with a leaf flower or a rowan branch.
