2. HOW TO CONNECT BEAUTIFUL BOOTOES FOR A NEWBORN GIRL

The blouse is knitted with raglan from the neck. This will allow, if desired, to easily increase the length of the sleeves or the front and back of the product.

The blouse according to this scheme is designed for ages up to 3 months.

Calculation of loops for knitting a raglan blouse from above:

The circumference of the neck of a three-month-old child is 22 cm, and the knitting density is 2.5 p × 1 cm. 2 cm will be the width of the strap, which means the neck circumference should be 20 cm. Based on this, loops should be calculated.

20 × 2.5 = 50 sts
From the resulting number, you need to subtract the number of loops of one raglan line (3 p), multiplied by 4.
50 - 12 = 38 p
This number should be divided into 3 parts, adding the remainder to the middle:

back - 12 p;
2 shelves - 14 p (7 p each);
2 sleeves - 12 p (6 p each).

With the help of an auxiliary thread, temporarily close the loops of the shelves and back and start knitting the sleeves in separate parts. 2 loops of each raglan line should be attached to the loops of the sleeve, the rest to the loops of the shelves and back, respectively.

Sleeves. At this point, the width of each sleeve should be equal to 19 cm (44 p).

Knit 8 rows evenly, and then do in every 4th row 1 decrease along the edges of the sleeves. After 17 cm, after separating the front and back loops, 42 sts should remain from each sleeve.
Change to needles number 3 and work with white yarn. Work cuff in rib 1×1 as follows: 6 rows of white yarn, 2 rows of green yarn, 4 rows of white yarn. Close all loops.

The total length of the sleeve from the neck should be 33 cm.

Shelves and back. Tear off the auxiliary thread from the loops of the shelves and back, transfer them to one knitting needle and combine them into one canvas. To do this, at the junction, knit the edge loops together (102 p).

Continue knitting faces. satin stitch with knitting needles No. 4. After 19 cm, you need to evenly add 11 sts, making yarn over every 9 sts.

Then change to needle size 3 and rib with white and green yarn, as on the sleeves. Close all loops. The length of the piece from the armhole should be 22 cm.

Planks and neck. Pick up 100 sts along the edges of the shelves and work the strips with an elastic band from white and green yarn with knitting needles No. 3. On the right strip, make 3 holes for buttons.

Untie the auxiliary thread from the neck.

Run an elastic band with white and green yarn on knitting needles No. 3 on the opened loops. After 5 rows above the right bar, make 1 hole for the button.

Assembly. Sew the sleeves with a vertical knitted seam, sew buttons on the blouse, remove the ends of the cut threads.
