Four-year-old Dima Peskov got lost and wandered in the forest in the Urals for four days, but he was found alive. Dima Peskov, who wandered around the swamp for several days, was discharged from the hospital. To date, the state of Dima Peskov

The boy was on vacation with his parents, moved away from the tent and got lost. Rescuers, police and hundreds of volunteers searched for him more four days, combing the forest, ponds, inspecting the area from a helicopter and with the help of drones. A volunteer discovered Dima Peskov: the child was barely alive.

Dima Peskov disappeared on Saturday morning. The family - father, mother and son - rested with a tent on the banks of the Reftinskoye reservoir in the Sverdlovsk region. At about nine in the morning, Dima and his dad went to collect firewood, but after a quarter of an hour the boy asked to go back to the camp, which was literally a few meters away. Dad released the child, but when he returned to the tent, he did not find him.

For about an hour, the parents themselves walked through the forest and looked for Dima. Then they called the rescuers. By 12 o'clock, the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police were on the spot, about 300 people gathered, volunteers from the search teams pulled up. How the rescue operation went is clear from the posts in the group "Search squad "Falcon".

On the second day, hundreds of people came to the aid of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the National Guard and the police. The total number of those who were looking for Dima, writes Komsomolskaya Pravda, amounted to 1200 people. A helicopter flew over the forest, boats inspected the banks of the reservoir and the Kamenka River, divers combed the bottom near the place where the tent was.

Both rescuers and searchers launched various drones with conventional video cameras and thermal imagers that could fly relatively low over the forest.

At night, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police did not recommend volunteers to go into the forest. There are wild animals in these places, including bears, in addition, by mistake in the dark, one could get hit by a poacher's bullet. But some, despite including a direct ban, continued to comb the forest at night.

On the second day, a fresh footprint of the boy was found, he led away from the shore of the reservoir and was lost on the edge of the swamp. It became clear that the child had left the lake deep into the forest, but it was not possible to find him in hot pursuit.

At that time, the Investigative Committee interrogated more than 50 people, the 66.ru website writes. Dima's father, Andrey Peskov, was also interrogated. According to him, the investigators considered, among other things, the version according to which he killed his son and buried him in the forest.

Only on June 14 in the morning, the rescuers managed to attack the fresh footprint of the child: footprints remained after the rain that had passed the day before, which means that Dima should have been somewhere nearby. After some time, one of the volunteers found the boy lying on the ground without moving near the power transmission pole. The father tells how it was:

The guy who found him is from the Falcon squad. He approached, saw a hillock, some kind of birch lay near the hillock. I went behind a birch and saw a lying child. He looked at him, it seemed that lifeless. Then the son stirred. Now he is in good health, understands me, nods his head or eyes. The guy, of course, is strong, but you yourself understand that on the fifth day ... he is exhausted. Many thanks to everyone who joined, did not leave us in trouble.

A medical helicopter was sent for Dima, but after the doctors examined him, he was taken to Yekaterinburg by land, in an ambulance, and the helicopter was returned to the base.

Dima is severely dehydrated, bitten by ticks, he has hypothermia and possibly pneumonia. He cannot speak. Here is how his mother describes his condition:

The place where they found Dima was seven kilometers from the tent, next to which he got lost. A four-year-old child in light clothes and without food spent more than four days in the forest. A map of the area with markings was published by the Ekaterinburg Online website.

Forest lesson for everyone else.

The entire Sverdlovsk region followed the search for 4-year-old Dima Peskov for several days. And the whole country rejoiced at his discovery. Now the boy is in the intensive care unit of the CSTO No. 1, nothing threatens his life. But the parents are threatened with a criminal case initiated during the search for the boy in the forest. Whether the rights of the child were violated and whether it was worth suspecting the father of the state of emergency - the situation in an exclusive interview "" was analyzed by the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Sverdlovsk Region Igor Morokov.

- Igor Rudolfovich, how do you assess the organization of the search for Dima Peskov?

We have been working with the Sokol detachment for a long time, we have carried out a number of measures to prevent the disappearance of children. I have an application on my phone: when there is information about the missing child, I immediately receive an alert. It was the same in this situation. We were in touch with the squad all the time.

This incident showed that we have a huge number of caring people who are ready to help. And you can close your eyes that many came unprepared, people had no idea that they would have to go into the swamp. The most important thing is the impulse of the soul to help.

Although non-professionals can sometimes do harm: trample down the tracks, drive on an ATV. This needs adjustment. And this operation showed that volunteers, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police can interact. Local authorities also showed themselves well: food and water supply were organized.

- Do you see the fault of the parents in what happened?

There are hotheads who say: "The parents are to blame, let's involve the parents, let's punish them." Here I recall a line from Vysotsky's song: "Let life judge, let life punish!" Life has already judged them. It makes no sense to call somewhere and say that you behaved incorrectly. No commission will make such an impression as what happened to them. Parents should be allowed to calm down. They understood everything.

Although I can’t imagine how you can send a 4-year-old kid alone somewhere. I had a 6-year-old grandson at the weekend, well, where are you going to send him?

- At the beginning of the search, the investigators suspected the parents. Were their actions correct?

We also talked to investigators. Now there are those who are dissatisfied with their work - allegedly the parents were interrogated with prejudice. But that's the job of investigators. These rules are written in blood. We, unfortunately, had several cases when crimes were covered up by the disappearance of children. And the investigators have to rule out that possibility, which they did. It was the investigators who said that the parents were innocent, and that all efforts should be thrown into the search.

But the criminal investigation continues. Can it be reclassified to the article "Leaving in danger"?

I think the case will be closed soon. Whether to change the article and blame the parents is a matter for specialists. It's hard for me to prove it. Relations between children and parents in the department of investigating authorities, the police and the commission on juvenile affairs. We intervene if the rights of the child are violated by state authorities, officials. If the police had not left, the Ministry of Emergency Situations had not done something to the end, we would have "winded" them.

And about parents - people have already received such a lesson that God forbid anyone.

- How to warn parents from such situations?

This case can be taken as the basis of all work with parents on the safety of children. There seems to be a certain list of threats. But you need to understand: the danger can arise completely from scratch. When you have a child with you, this is already a special situation.

An adult must always be in control. By the way, the fall from the windows is from the same series. He got distracted, did something wrong, walked away, the child fell out. 50% of injuries to children in road accidents are the result of the actions of parents. They didn't buckle up, they didn't put the seat in. Like, why, I have a great experience. And a newcomer leaves to meet you. Danger can "leave" anywhere.

"The best thing to do with psychics is to drive with a filthy broom!". The Ural entrepreneur talks about how the search for the boy went, what a volunteer needs to know, and why he bought GPS beacons for his children.

"This is just a miracle!" - this is how residents of the Sverdlovsk region met the news that a four-year-old boy who had disappeared in the forest under the Reftinskoye reservoir was found alive. , both law enforcement agencies with powerful equipment and volunteers armed only with compasses, navigators and the desire to find a child at all costs took part in them.

Zhenya, you participated in the search for the missing boy Dima Peskov. How did it all happen?

To begin with, I am a volunteer in the Sokol search squad and have been participating in such operations for three to four years. Our leader is just a search engine from God. And when something happens, of the thousands of options, it is as close as possible to just the right place. This time, he was also one of the first to arrive at the place of Dima's disappearance, because on Saturday, again, out of many life variations (he could do anything and go anywhere), he was on the Tyumen highway, not so far from Asbest (4-year-old Dima got lost in the forest under the Reftinskoye reservoir on June 10 - ed.). And just when the call came in that the child was missing, he was an hour away from that point.

How does the notification happen?

Information about the missing child comes to the leaders of the search teams from the police, and they are already forwarding it to us. Sometimes signals come from ordinary people. We have both a general chat and an SMS-mailing, which is received by everyone who has declared as a volunteer of the detachment.

We immediately mobilize, we have everything assembled, everything is prepared and lies in the cars. In winter one set, in summer another. In just a few minutes, you can already move forward. Therefore, two or three hours after Dima's disappearance, we were all there and started searching.

What should be in the kit?

Rubber boots, hiking clothes, charged walkie-talkies, a whistle for searching in the forest, a navigator or a compass. Some kind of snack (for example, nuts or dried fruits) and, of course, a first aid kit - all this should be ready, because it will take time, and in search operations every hour counts.

How many volunteers do you have?

This is a variable. Now, after the search for Dima, which was covered in the media and received a response, it has become very much. And it happened that you come in search, and there are only two of you. Especially if it's weekdays, and even far from the city.

Is your squad only looking for children?

Yes, we are only looking for children or the elderly, who can also be equated with children.

How many times have you gone looking?

Probably already participated 15 times.

Have you always managed to find missing children?

No, for example, we have been looking for the missing Sasha Zolotina from Mikhailovsk for more than a year (a one and a half year old girl disappeared in the fall of 2015 - ed. note). The search never stops. It's just that over time, they move from the active phase to the passive one. We are always guided common sense, believing that the child is alive, and we also multiply all this by four, just in case, but we are always looking until it is impossible to put an end to it.

It is not always possible to find alive ... it happens in different ways. Sometimes we search in the woods, sometimes in the city. For example, two girls, 13 and 14 years old, were recently lost. The place of loss is some villages in the region. But the last billing spotted them a week ago at the railway station in Yekaterinburg. We went there, interviewed all the old-timers who sell hot dogs and popcorn. Word for word, and found a man who saw the girls just yesterday. As a result, the address where they live was determined, and the travelers were handed over to the police.

How do you introduce yourself?

We say: we are such and such, volunteers of the Sokol search squad (not volunteers, but volunteers), we are looking for missing children. We don't have any shorts.

Let's get back to the search for Dima. Where did you start?

We started combing the forest.

How does this happen? How many meters apart are you walking?

Depends on the terrain: if the grass is tall, then you need to keep an interval of two meters, in the forest from three to five meters. How it happens: on some level ground, people line up in a chain, instructions are given on how to walk, what details to pay attention to, what clothes the child was wearing, so that everyone visually represents: "Red jacket, blue pants."

There is not enough leadership for everyone. For every 20 people, as a rule, either a more experienced volunteer or a policeman with a walkie-talkie is allocated. Because if people have never participated in the search, they do not know how to keep the interval, what to do. Many are also dressed inappropriately, and this greatly slows down the overall row, because they must move more or less synchronously.

How many people participated looking for Dima?

They call different numbers, up to three thousand. On the first day, I saw about three hundred people at once.

Have you been there all four days?

No, all the days failed, I was the first day. And, of course, we hoped to find the boy on the first day, because two hours after the start of the search, the guys from our left flank saw the first track. Recorded the coordinates, reported to the headquarters. The shepherd Keks immediately followed this trail. This radically changed the course of the search: the bulk of the people were temporarily transferred to other areas, and only a small group of volunteers followed the dog and combed the space to the right and left. This is so as not to trample down the tracks and not confuse the dog. At about 11 pm we reached the 35 power transmission tower (now this is already a well-known place), that is, we walked about 6.5 km from the place of loss. But there the dog lost track.

Dima's first track

Marvelous! 6.5 km - it seems a little, but given that there are swamps, windbreak, tall grass - this is a huge distance. We ourselves walked and thought that a child of four years old would definitely not have reached here. But it turned out that he had doubled this distance, because he wandered back and forth.

How many kilometers did you walk per day?

On the first day, we covered a radius of about 6-7 km, and in total, in four days, the search engines combed 52 square meters. km.

How did you act when it got dark and you lost the trail?

At night they continued to search on the tips of the thermal imager. It was already possible to launch a drone with a thermal imager. I want to note that gigantic forces and means were involved in these searches: both the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the Central Internal Affairs Directorate, and hundreds of volunteers. This is the first time in my memory. The Central Internal Affairs Directorate has allocated a drone with a thermal imager (not an ordinary quadrocopter, but a real aircraft) - this is a very powerful technique, which is accompanied by a whole KamAZ with a lot of navigation and decoding equipment.

The thermal imager cannot work during the day, because the crowns of trees, stones, the whole environment heats up, and it needs to cool down a little. But the thermal imager did not spot the child.

I saw such a question in discussions: “Why did the thermal imager detect animals: an elk, a bear, but did not detect a boy?”

A thermal imager is a good assistant in searches, but it is not a panacea. If the boy was lying under a tree, it could well be that the crown did not allow heat to pass through. This helps to some extent, but you cannot rely on the thermal imager completely.

At night, we acted as follows: the thermal imager detected black dots, that is, something that radiates heat, a sound signal went from the plane to try to scare away if it was a living creature and see the silhouette. When there were dots that looked like a boy both in size and in the degree of reaction, we received the coordinates and went out to look at them. But it could just be a puddle that looks like a person from above, and in it something rots and radiates heat, or a rotten stump. Each time they were false objects.

Are there fewer people at night?

People were constantly leaving and coming, but there were always a lot of people there. I really want to say that everyone who was there - all the great fellows, all the heroes: those who combed the forest, even in a completely different place (after all, they closed the options, narrowing the search circle), and those who brought volunteers, did huge telephone work, brought food or firewood, because everyone came out of the forest wet, and it was necessary to dry clothes somewhere and warm up. Everyone, without exception, contributed to saving the life of the baby. Many tirelessly searched for more than four days, slept for a couple of hours, and again went into battle, went deep into the forest at three in the morning, so that by dawn they would start the search not from the base, but immediately from the unexplored squares.

But, by the way, there were those who interfered with the search. I'm talking about psychics. There were four of them: one came to the place and three consulted by phone. Once again, we were convinced that the best thing to do with psychics is just drive them with a filthy broom.

That is, the sense of psychics is zero?

No, not zero. And even minus sense. They confuse, divert forces, attention to themselves, you need to listen to their nonsense. Psychics are divided into two types: either outright scammers or mentally ill people. There are no other psychics, and let someone prove the opposite to me.

Do you remember what they said?

Of course I remember! One led the group in the wrong direction, far from the tracks and from the place where the probability of finding Dima was the highest. This man acted clearly according to a certain strategy: "If it works out, I will become a famous psychic, and if not, I will quietly disappear." Which, in fact, he did. I do not remember his name, but shame and disgrace to this man. Other psychics have taken away many volunteers just by saying, "We see the energy of death." I am sure that this stopped someone, because - why look further, and someone simply did not reach the place.

If a person wants to take part in the search, what should he do? Who to contact locally?

There is always a phone number of the search coordinator in the public domain, or look for people in uniform on the spot: the Ministry of Emergency Situations or the police. They will then direct you to whom to contact and where to get the task. This is a very strong teamwork, everyone here comes in handy. Need any help! Many of those whom I called for the search did not come, people have direct or indirect excuses. Some said: “We are with the children,” but I saw a couple who came with a child, and the husband and wife took turns participating in the search! They were not stopped by the fact that there was no one to leave the baby with. This is also a special case of heroism, it is the readiness to instantly come to the rescue, to find opportunities, not excuses.

I heard that after this incident you bought your children watches with a GPS tracker. It's true?

Yes, we all know that children just need to be well looked after, keep an eye on. It's difficult: I myself have four children. But it's real. And yet, in order to insure, for complacency, I bought a watch with GPS for the younger ones, because we ourselves are soon going on a family trip to the forest.

“The search for Dima was widely covered in the media, and, on the one hand, this helps us, but on the other hand, it raises unnecessary hype. People travel in large numbers: someone comes to really help, for which many thanks to them, someone just to stare. Some I don't even know why they come. To play pranks? Various discussions, condemnations begin, now they are pouring a bucket of dirt on us, that we started all this almost for the sake of PR. They allegedly found a child on the second day and specifically hid him in a pit in order to make a film. Rave.

If you want to come in search of a child as a volunteer, note: we always indicate the telephone number of the coordinator. First of all, before going anywhere, you need to contact him. In our VKontakte group, we always post information about what uniform and training should be. You just need to read it carefully. If it is written that people are needed who have equipment, certain skills in tourism, sports, military training, then you do not need to go in sneakers, slippers or stilettos. And this happens. Better a hundred professionals than a thousand untrained people who need to be trained (and there is no time for this). Yes, everyone can help, but there is no need for amateur performance.

I have been looking for children for six years, there are 10 people in my squad. If mass searches are needed, our first task is to organize the actions of volunteers so that they are effective. Secondly, we interact with law enforcement agencies: the Ministry of Internal Affairs and so on, so that thousands of volunteers do not run to them with reports. But often we go out in search of a small group and work out the task with coordinators and several volunteers.

Pavel [the person who found Dima - approx. ed.] said: "I disobeyed the order and found Dima by accident", but, in fact, no orders are given here, a task is set. He had the task of combing the swamp. The primary task was to comb the left bank, then we would have moved to the right. There was a lot of emphasis on this place, because footprints were found in this area, and the boy would have been found anyway. We are unrealistically lucky that Dima survived. It was just luck".

In the Sverdlovsk region, volunteers and rescuers combed the forests for five days in search of 4-year-old Dima Peskov, who came with his parents to nature and got lost. For the first three days, investigators and policemen interrogated Dima's parents and the fishermen whose tent he entered. The publication E1.ru tells in detail about the search.

The family (mother, father and child) came to the village of Reftinsky to rest. We took a boat to the other side of the reservoir. They broke the tent. After that, dad and child went fishing (according to another version - for firewood), and mom stayed at the tent. According to the head of the family, the child was capricious and asked to return to his mother. The father let his son go alone. The distance was about 10 meters. But, apparently, the boy got lost.

The mother of the missing Dima works as an educator in kindergarten in which the child himself went. The common-law husband has several convictions, including, according to preliminary data, under Art. 222 and 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - "Illicit trafficking in weapons" and "Theft". Their child is common.

The detectives of the criminal investigation department used a lie detector when interviewing the legal representatives of the child. The detectives were alarmed by the fact that the mother, having learned about the disappearance of the child, left the scene after some time, citing the fact that she was cold. The father remained in place and assisted the police.

Dima's parents passed a polygraph test twice. Both were calm.

A little later it became known that the detectives of the criminal investigation department managed to obtain one more important information. They found the fishermen who were approached by the kid on the day of his disappearance. The men confirmed that the boy had gone in the opposite direction from his tent.

For searches, the Ministry of Emergency Situations raised a drone, which found the bear.

Rescuers, military, volunteers searched for the boy for five days. And finally found!

The volunteer said that he saw a tubercle near a birch, went behind the birch - there was a child. It seemed to him that he was not alive. When he started talking into the radio, the child stirred, - the boy's father told how the volunteer found Dima.

The baby was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Yekaterinburg. Five ticks were removed from the boy at the hospital. About 20 bites were found on the body, in addition, Dima is suspected of having pneumonia.

There is serious hypothermia and severe stress. He talks, but with difficulty. The boy willingly drinks, put a dropper, we will slowly feed him, - said the head physician of the hospital.

The head physician said that Dima had general hypothermia. He caught a cold at night. The boy was very badly bitten by mosquitoes, especially his face. Also, the face was sunburnt. The head physician of the hospital noted that the boy was saved by the warm jacket he was wearing when he got lost.

The boy's dad admitted that he believed to the end that his son would be found alive.

Yesterday, not far from this lair, Dima's footprint was discovered! Dima himself was found a little further two and a half kilometers towards the power line! Man, Dimka is a good fellow, alone among mosquitoes, scary creatures, bears! Thank God, I found a small one, - Vladimir Sarvarov, a participant in the search, wrote.

It became known that Dima walked 8 km, then found shelter and began to lie more. Dima told the doctors: “It was very scary. I ate grass, berries.

He never got lost, never ran away, I can’t even understand why he ran away, Dima’s mother said. - He never walked alone, only with me by the hand. I have always believed that he is alive. I had the feeling all five days that he was alive.

Parents believe that Dima's self-preservation instinct worked, so he guessed to eat grass and eventually survived. How to act if Dima gets lost, the parents never discussed with him, because they could not even imagine that this would happen.

For more than four days in the Sverdlovsk region they were looking for four-year-old Dima Peskov, who was lost in the forest. The hope of finding the child alive was fading with every passing hour. And yet they found it!

About Dima Peskov, who was vacationing with his parents on the banks of the Reftinsky reservoir, the search engines, who were closely following the search in different parts of the country, joke that he was born not just in a shirt, but in a whole down jacket. Judge for yourself.

Dima's family rested on the banks of the Reftinsky reservoir. Dima and dad were fishing, the child became capricious, and dad, not looking up from fishing, sent him to his mother in a tent, which was literally a few meters from them. But the boy did not reach his mother.

First danger. When the special services and volunteers arrived at the search site on a call, they immediately had a bad feeling. The fact is that the tent stood near the water on an outstanding cape, surrounded on all sides by a reservoir. In addition, in the forest, which began behind the road (which, as it turned out later, Dima had crossed), there were two serious swamps. When the search begins for a child who has disappeared by the water, unfortunately, the worst assumptions are often justified. Moreover: water is the biggest danger for children who find themselves in the natural environment.

However, naturally, the search and rescue operation was fully deployed. The police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, firefighters, cadets, the local population, volunteers from the Sokol and Liza Alert search and rescue teams arrived in search of Dima. Divers and cynologists worked all four days. And, I must say, the way government services and local residents worked on the search is an amazing example of human indifference. About 600 people were looking for Dima every day, representatives of the special services were taken off duty and called back from their vacations.

Stanislav Kovalev, curator of Lisa Alert-Yekaterinburg, says that the Ministry of Emergency Situations almost at full strength stayed overnight on the search after the end of the shift, that many policemen, having completed their task, continued to search for Dima voluntarily, that the local administration at the search site organized a field kitchen and a deputy the head of the administration stood at the distribution of food, and the head of the administration himself walked through the forest with search parties.

Stas notes that this is a very important step forward in relation to state services in the search for children, because two years ago, in a similar situation of searching for one and a half year old Sasha Zolotina, in the same place, in the Sverdlovsk region, who also disappeared next to high water and was never found, representatives of the police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked out the shift and went home. From time to time, search engines found traces of children, but it was impossible to reliably state that they belonged to Dima, because, for example, on the first day of the search, local residents were looking for Dima, and some of them were with children.

Second danger. Upon entering the forest, it was immediately discovered that there were many animals in it, and they rightly feel like masters in it. The search engines saw moose and smaller animals close by, but most of all they were alerted by the numerous traces of bears. Near large cities, they do not pose a danger and do not approach people, but in a real forest they may well attack an adult or a child. Therefore, each search party went into the forest on a mission, accompanied by a hunter with a gun.

Third danger. The longer the search went on, the less hope there was of finding the child alive. In addition to water and wild animals, for a person, especially a small or elderly person, there are two more dangers in the forest: dehydration and hypothermia. Unfortunately, situations are not uncommon when a lost person dies for these reasons a few tens of meters from a settlement. A child who finds himself in the forest without food, drink and warm shelter risks his life, especially in bad weather and at night when the temperature drops and clothes get wet. Dima Peskov was lucky with the weather - the temperature did not drop below ten degrees at night, and it rained only once - on the night from the third to the fourth day of the search, however, it was heavy. Dima, as it turned out later, drank water from puddles and ate grass ...

On the fifth day of the search, when, it seems, the entire Sverdlovsk region was already rooting for Dima and praying, in the course of expanding the search area, one of the groups went to perform the next task. There were eight people in the group, including representatives of the police, the Sokol search and rescue squad, and the Lisa Alert search and rescue squad. During combing, one of the participants in the search noticed a boy lying on the ground. At first it seemed to him that the boy was not breathing, and they told the headquarters that he had been found dead, but Dima opened his eyes ...

The kid was exhausted, exhausted and bitten by ticks, his condition was critical, although he himself sat down, delighting the search engines with this. His appearance, according to the finders, was wild: dirty, wet, five ticks on his body ...

After consultation with headquarters, a decision was made to evacuate immediately. The group that found him made a stretcher and carried the child for several kilometers to the nearest country road, where a car was waiting for them. On it, the boy was taken to a clearing, where a helicopter was already waiting for him to be transported to a hospital in the city of Yekaterinburg.

After the examination, the doctors said that internal organs the boy is not damaged and Dima is no longer in danger.

Dima was saved by a miracle and hundreds of caring people. But there are fairly simple safety measures that will save the life and health of children and the health of parents.

"Lisa Alert" recalls:

Whenever you go to the forest with your child, dress him in bright clothes. He should have a whistle hanging around his neck, a fully charged phone in his pocket, and a bottle of water and a candy bar in his backpack. Teach him the main rule of the lost: if you are lost, stop! This is a dangerous illusion that the baby will not go far - four-year-old Dima was found 7 kilometers from the place of the loss, and even children less than three years old can go several kilometers, and searching for a child within a radius of several kilometers may require the actions of hundreds of people and take tens of precious hours .

The child should not go into the forest alone or only with peers.

A child in the natural environment should always be in front of adults.

A child should never go alone to water, even if he is a good swimmer. Teach him that the biggest misdeeds in his life are security-related and that this is one of the worst.

If you are hiking or camping in the forest, the child should not leave the camp alone.

While sleeping in the forest, children should be supervised. An adult should always know if the child leaves the tent and supervise his stay outside the tent, or his return.
