How to weave a beaded harness on a fishing line. The main types and techniques of weaving beaded cords

Zveryaka Evgenia Alexandrovna

Beads - a material known since the time of the pharaohs. It was in Egypt that archaeologists discovered the most ancient glass beads. At different peoples it was made from a variety of materials. Beads were carved from shells, bones and pearls, cast from gold and silver, there were even porcelain beads. There are many stories and legends about the appearance of beads. According to Turkmen beliefs, beads are the tears of beautiful girls. The evil spirit of the desert - Dev kidnapped beauties and kept them in a cave. Tears from the eyes of beautiful captives flowed in a continuous stream and turned into small precious beads.

A sad legend, however, cannot overshadow the joy that brings the creation of amazing and bright jewelry from beads based on harnesses.

This is the second part of the section dedicated to the creation of beaded cords. It will cover braiding with a hook, Ndebele technique, Turkish and twisted braids.

Beautiful Ndebele beaded cord

Harnesses are a universal decoration. They can be worn as a necklace, lariat, with and without knots, make several turns. They will look great with clothes without a neckline or with a deep neckline. They can change according to your mood and desire.

The Ndebele technique is one of the most ancient. Named for one of the tribes of Africa, whose women weave original jewelry from beads and beads.

  • Beads 10/0 40 g (used in the master class Czech beads color "black iris");
  • Thread for beads 0.1 mm black;
  • Pins silver 2.5 cm;
  • Amethyst chips (12 pcs.);
  • Connecting silver rings 4 mm;
  • Iridescent faceted black beads 8 pcs. 4 mm each and 6 pieces 6 mm each;
  • Silver clasp;
  • Silver caps 2 pcs., 6 mm;
  • Beading needle No. 12;
  • Tools for work (nippers, round nose pliers and thin nose pliers).

We will work in one thread. For a tourniquet about 70 cm long, about 7 m of thread will be required. We string 6 beads and close in a ring. The thread should come out of the bead. We string 2 beads and pass through the next 2 beads. in the diagram below, all beads are numbered, and the arrow indicates the direction of movement.

When the tourniquet reaches the desired length, fix the pins, put on the huggers. With the help of connecting rings and pins, make a low line from amethyst chips or beads. Attach a clasp at the end.

Below we give a diagram by which you can tie this bundle into a money knot. Since thread was used instead of fishing line, the tourniquet turned out to be soft and easy to fold and tie.

Turkish tourniquet

The next master class is devoted to weaving a Turkish tourniquet into two loops. The technique for making such elegant little things is quite simple, however, as in any needlework, there is a little trick in it.

  • Beads 10/0 in two shades;
  • Rice (beads that look like long rice);
  • Thread for weaving to match the beads;
  • Beaded needle;
  • Hook of the corresponding number (usually from No. 0.5 - No. 1);
  • Pins with loops at the end;
  • connecting rings;
  • Caps 2 pcs.;
  • padlock;
  • Tools for working with fittings (nippers and round nose pliers).

Before you start weaving, you need to calculate the number of beads in the string. It should fit snugly from one hole in the rice to another. We got 6 beads in such a low.

Now, without leaving the spool of threads, we string beads and beads in the following sequence: beads of the same color (6 pcs.), Rice, beads of another color (6 pcs.), Rice, etc. The length of this low will depend on what you want to do. For a bracelet, 2.5 m will be enough, for a lariat, a little more than 5 m will be needed.

Now we shift to the side low, leaving only the first 6 beads and the first grain of rice. We crochet the usual first loop. Then we knit another loop, throwing on the working thread and stretching it through the usual first loop so that the beads fit snugly against the rice. This is the first beaded loop (one half-loop is beads, and the second is rice).

In the same way we knit the second beaded loop. To knit the third beaded loop, we insert the hook between the half-loops of the first beaded loop, put on the working thread and pull it into the loop (thread) similarly to the previous times. The third half-loop will stick out to the side, do not worry, it should be so. We knit the next beaded loop for the third beaded loop, introducing a hook between the beads and the rice.

The loops on the right should be slightly higher than the loops on the left. Each new beaded loop must be hooked to the lower left. Another clue to the correct knitting will be as follows: the hook of a new beaded loop is made for a loop of the same color.

It remains only to tie the harness of the required length.

Now we take the pins with eyelets and hook them, as shown in the photo. We put on a cap, rice and leaving about 0.7 mm of the pin, cut off everything else. We turn the end into a loop. With the help of connecting rings we cling fasteners.

In this technique, very beautiful necklaces, bracelets and lariats are obtained.

Photo as an example.

The original tourniquet, connected with a half-column and a single crochet.

The bracelet is made with such an unusual tourniquet. The clasp button adds even more originality to it.

  • Beads;
  • Thread for knitting in the color of beads (we have pink denim thread);
  • Button fastener equal to the diameter of the future cord (we have 1 cm);
  • Needle for beads;
  • Monofilament;
  • Hook of the corresponding number;
  • Spinner.

Since we are knitting a bracelet of the same color, it will be very convenient to make a low bead with a spinner. This device at times speeds up the set of beads per thread. You can buy it at a craft store or make your own.

You will need a plastic glass (sour cream is sold in such). We cut off the bottom with sides of about 1 - 2 cm (as it is more convenient for you). Poke a hole in the middle. This can be done with a hot awl or a thin knitting needle.

Now we take an ordinary ballpoint pen without a rod. We insert as in the photo. We fix the second part of the handle.

Now it remains to pour the beads into our spinner, and turning clockwise, substitute the needle. The beads are strung on their own.

If your thread is thick enough and does not pass into the eye of the bead needle, you can proceed as follows: thread a piece of monofilament into the eye of the needle and tie the ends. Thread the thread into the resulting loop (see photo).

Now you need to dial the air loops. In this master class from 18 vp.

Now insert the hook into the first air loop, slide the bead along the working thread. The sixth photo shows how to grab the thread. We stretch through the first ch. working thread. We have 2 loops on the hook. Now again you need to grab the thread and knit 2 loops already.

We introduce the hook into the next ch, move the bead and repeat the manipulations. First, there are 2 loops on the hook, then 1. Thus, we knit the whole circle.

The twelfth photo shows in red exactly how to switch to knitting the second row.

You can experiment, try to knit only for one half-loop or for two.

Between the beaded rows, knit 2 rows with just yarn with the same single crochet. When you knit a bracelet of the required length, it will need a filler if your tourniquet is large enough in diameter. Hollow silicone tubes are suitable for this purpose. You can use medical from droppers.

It remains only to sew a button to our bracelet, and it is ready.

The next charming craft will be embossed crochet harness. A beautiful texture is achieved through beads of different sizes.

  • Beads 10/0 light purple matte, purple iris, transparent purple rainbow;
  • Beads 15/0 color dark brown iris;
  • Caps 2 pcs.;
  • Pins 2.5 cm 2 pcs.;
  • Clasp;
  • Tools for working with pins;
  • Hook No. 0.75;
  • Needle for beads;
  • Denim thread for knitting in black.

The diagram shows the order of the set of beads on the thread.

Unlike the previous master class, in this one, in order to make it more convenient to attach the huggers, you can knit several rows with threads without beads. For such thread tails it will be convenient to cling to pins and put on caps (see pictures 1-4).

Knits 5 - 6 ch. and close in a ring. Next, we knit 3-4 rows with ordinary single crochets, increasing the number of loops in a row to 15. Now you need to knit a couple of cm in height with beads. We take a pin. We put a bead on it and thread it in such a way that the bead is inside the knitted tail, and the tip of the pin is outside. Subsequently, we will put a cap on it and make a loop for the fastener. When you knit the bundle of the desired length, knit a couple of rows without beads, then take another pin, put a bead on it and insert it into the bundle. Tie with thread, reducing the number of loops in a row. Beads put on the pins will not be able to go into a small hole and will be securely fixed inside the bundle. Put on the second cap and make another loop for the fastener on the second end of the tourniquet.

The beautiful relief of this necklace is achieved due to the difference in the size of the beads. In the diagram, smaller beads are marked in black.

Twisted beaded crochet harness

To create it, you also need the ability to crochet. it is performed with a half-column without a crochet (connecting column). The difference between such a twisted tourniquet is that loops with and without beads alternate in it. In the master class, white threads and black beads were used for clarity.

All the beads are immediately strung on a thread. There will be 16 loops in the circumference of the tourniquet. Alternating 2 through 2, therefore, with beads you get 8 loops in a circle. To calculate the length of the string of beads, we multiply the length of the product, for example, 45 cm, by the number of beads - 8. It turns out that we need a string of beads 360 cm long.

The first few rows will be a little awkward to knit, but when a couple of cm of the tourniquet is formed, everything will even out. The thread must be taut when knitting (as an example, see photo 4).

Ch 1, then work *2 sts with beads, 2 sts without beads*, repeat from * 4 times. We connect in a ring.

Second r. Insert the hook into the loop with beads under the bead itself so that it is shifted to the right of the hook (see photo 5). Focusing on the sixth photo, throw a thread on the bead of the first circle, move the next bead and knit a half-column without a crochet. Similarly, we knit the next loop with beads. In this case, the beads of the lower circle will be located horizontally, and the new beads vertically (see the seventh photo).

The eighth and ninth photos show how to knit empty and full (with beads) loops. Empty for the upper half loop, and full for both half loops.

Third r. knit without connecting the first column in a spiral. We knit as the previous row. Photo 10 shows what the bundle looks like in cross section. When the length is sufficient, it is necessary to tie the last row only with threads. In this case, all beads will be located horizontally. We fix and cut the thread.

The photo shows an example of a necklace made from such a tourniquet.

  • Melange yarn;
  • Beads 10/0 transparent;
  • Hook number 1;
  • Accessories (hugs, pins, fasteners).

Twin Beaded Harness

When they hear the word "beads", they usually imagine tiny round beads. However, there are many varieties of beads: cutting (small hollow tubes), glass beads (long hollow tubes), farfal, which resembles an hourglass and, of course, Twin. These are large beads shaped like rice, but having two holes - at the top and bottom.

In the master class below, the gossip harness is woven using just such beads.

  • Beads Twin;
  • Beads 10/0;
  • Abacus 2 pcs. 4 - 6 mm;
  • Monofilament 0.18 mm;
  • Beading needle No. 12;
  • Clasp.

We string, alternating 3 twins and 3 beads. We close in a ring. The thread should come out of a regular bead.

We begin to weave in mosaic technique. We string one round regular bead and pass the needle through the second hole of the Twin, string 1 more regular bead and thread the thread through the regular bead of the first circle. should look like the third photo.

Third circle. String three ordinary beads, they will be located above the Twin (see 4th photo), go through 3 ordinary beads of the previous circles. String 3 ordinary beads again and thread the thread through the next 3 beads of the two lower circles. The fifth photo shows how to weave Twins in the fourth round. They need to be hooked on the upper ordinary beads of the last circle. when we tighten the thread, we will get (see photos 6 and 7).

Fifth circle. We string an ordinary bead and pass through the second hole of the Twin, again a regular bead and again into the second hole of the Twin and again. It turned out the same circle as we started weaving (see photo 9).

We continue to repeat the steps described above (see photos 10, 11 and 12).

Weave to the desired length. The last row should end with three Twins. Between them weave one ordinary bead. Now you need to take the pins (it will be more convenient if the pin head is in the form of a bead), now insert the pin inside the bundle and tighten the thread. The pin head is fixed. To be sure, you need to walk the thread several times in the last round. Now you can put an abacus on the pin. We leave about 0.7 - 1 cm of the pin, cut off the rest. From the tail we make a loop and fasten the clasp.

Having mastered mosaic weaving a little, I decided to continue making jewelry from beads using this technique.

If you remember, I already have a braided and beaded sodalite cabochon ready, and I even made a loop of beads for it using the mosaic weaving technique, so that the braided cabochon turned into a beaded pendant.

Now it remains to figure out what to hang the beaded cabochon pendant on so that it can be worn as a necklace.

In search of master classes and patterns for mosaic weaving from beads, I have repeatedly come across instructions for making a beaded cord. Moreover, it turned out that a beaded cord, or as it is also called a “tow”, can be both woven and crocheted.

harness option, crocheted from a thread with beads strung on it, although it bribed with its reliability, it did not arouse enthusiasm: I always resort to the help of a hook in the most extreme cases. Therefore, it is one thing to crochet the edge knitted needles a children's scarf or, say, connect with a hook the loops of an openwork beret knitted with knitting needles. And it’s quite another thing to knit a beaded cord without having the skill of crocheting.

I mention this method of making a beaded cord only because to someone this option may seem easier and more affordable to perform than weaving a beaded cord with a needle. You will find a video on crocheting a beaded cord at the end of the post.

And now it's time to deal with

How to weave a mosaic beaded rope

The simplest and most common version of a mosaic beaded harness is mosaic braid, woven in a circle (cross weaving). Such a harness turns out to be very dense and at the same time quite elastic.

To weave a mosaic cord and create a beaded necklace based on it, I will need:

  • Czech seed beads Preciosa 10/0 (brilliant pale blue and transparent dark blue)
  • fishing line 0.25 mm thick
  • needle for beads
  • scissors
  • tweezers
  • lighter
  • thick white shoe thread
  • wire cutters
  • round nose pliers
  • jewelry accessories for silver (2 pins, 2 caps and a magnetic lock)

For clarity, I am attaching

cross-weaving scheme of a mosaic beaded cord in a circle on 7 beads

Master class on weaving a mosaic beaded cord

1 row (Fig. 1): I string 7 beads on the fishing line: 2 blue, 1 blue and 4 blue (To weave a mosaic bundle in a circle, you can collect any odd number of beads, starting from 5, depending on the desired thickness of the finished bundle)

I stretch the fishing line through the entire first row of beads.

I close the fishing line in a ring, leaving a free end 15 cm long.

2 row (Fig. 2): I stretch the fishing line through the first (blue) bead of the first row and string one blue bead on it.

Again I skip one bead of the first row and stretch the fishing line through the fifth (blue) bead of the first row.

I stretch the fishing line through the last seventh bead of the first row.

3 row (Fig. 3): I string one blue bead on the fishing line. I stretch the line through the first (blue) bead of the second row and again string one blue bead onto the line.

I stretch the fishing line through the second (blue) bead of the second row and string one blue bead on it.

Regularity: To get a spiral pattern of dark blue beads on a blue background, in each new row, when the needle is taken out of the blue bead, I string a blue bead on the fishing line and, accordingly, when the needle is taken out of the blue bead, I string a blue bead.

I continue weaving the mosaic tourniquet according to the scheme until the desired length is reached.

At a certain stage of work on weaving a mosaic rope, you may have a natural question:

How to fix and build up a fishing line or thread when weaving from beads?

It was for these purposes that I prepared thin tweezers and a lighter.

To add a new piece of fishing line, you need to tie it to the working line from the inside of the bundle, making several knots between the previously strung beads and stretching the new line through the strung beads.

After both pieces of fishing line are connected and fixed, the remaining ends must be cut off, but not under the very knot, but leaving small tails, 0.5-0.7 cm long, and then melt them with a lighter, holding them with tweezers first to do not damage the knots and do not stain the beads.

When a spiral mosaic cord of the required length is woven, I pull a thick shoe thread through it to prevent excessive stretching of the fishing line under the weight of the beaded pendant.

By the way, I accidentally found this diagram showing how the finished necklace, beads or necklace will look like when worn:

The tails of the fishing line and the ends of the shoe thread remaining at the ends of the braided cord are pulled through the loops of the jewelry pins, fastened, melted with a lighter and pulled inside the beaded cord.

I string a jewelry cap on each pin.

I cut the pins to the required length. With round-nose pliers, I bend the free ends of the pins into loops. I attach half of the magnetic fastener to each loop.

Now it remains only to hang a cabochon pendant braided with beads on the finished mosaic beaded cord. And here is the result - a simple but rather spectacular beaded necklace:

And now the promised video tutorial on crocheting a beaded harness. Knowledge in English not necessarily - the video is shot close-up, extremely detailed and understandable.

Schemes of harnesses from beads and a master class on weaving

Harnesses - interesting thing which gained popularity not so long ago. They are made from everything: floss threads, wire, beads and so on. Every day there are so many new schemes and options for such products that it is difficult to decide which flagellum to weave. This article introduces schemas detailed creation harnesses of large beads that will help you in weaving.

Weave a standard beaded harness with a detailed diagram and description of work

This is the most common type of tourniquet, which is done in just three steps. View below a master class on weaving this model.

For its manufacture, you need to have the following materials:

1. We retreat fifteen centimeters from any edge of the fishing line and collect seven beads of the same color. We form a loop, passing the long end into the first bead.

2. This is only the first row. Now we start the second one: we pick up a bead of the same color and pass the fishing line through the bead, bypassing one. And so on until the end of the loop, that is, in total there should be three beads in this row.

3. The third row is woven in the same way, passing the fishing line into the beads of the second row. But here another color of beads comes into play.

Here is a beautiful bracelet almost ready. It remains only to attach the fasteners and fasten the fishing line. If desired, you can also decorate with a beautiful decor, for example, as in the photo:

We make a stylish accessory with the help of the most ordinary hook

It is also possible to make a crochet harness. From the very beginners, this may require more effort than from a person who has long been fond of this type of needlework.

To work you need to have:

  1. Hook number 3;
  2. Dense threads for crochet;
  3. Medium size beads (absolutely any colors);
  4. Clasp;
  5. Scissors.

We begin to make a tourniquet.

1. With the help of a hook, we make an ordinary air loop and move the bead to it, then another loop and bead. Thus, we collect six loops and beads, forming a ring and closing it.

2. In the second row, we catch the threads that are between the beads, pull them out a little to make a loop and again move another bead to it, then between the next we pull the thread and so on until the end of the row.

3. So weave until right size(according to the circumference of the arm), and more details are shown in the diagrams:

Create an openwork flagellum using small beads

An elegant harness option that any lady will love. How to weave this interesting bracelet is described in detail below.

For its manufacture, you need to have the following materials:

  1. Small beads (various yellow shades);
  2. Fishing line;
  3. Clasp.

Let's start decorating.

1. We connect seven beads of any color into a ring - this will be the first row.

2. Then we collect three beads, leave three, and thread them into the next three. Then three more pieces until the end of the row.

4. And at the end we attach the clasp on both sides and get rid of the protruding tip of the fishing line.

Weaving of this type will not pose any problems, since the scheme is described in an accessible and understandable way for everyone.

A couple more options for creating interesting jewelry

The square tourniquet has always been very popular, unlike the usual varieties. How to do it is described in the video, which are presented at the end of this article.

The last way is the Turkish flagellum. This decoration is of considerable value, and the instructions are very simple.

To make it you need to have:

  1. Small and large beads (blue and pink);
  2. Special threads;
  3. Any hook;
  4. Clasp.
  1. We start with a set of beads on a thread in this order: large and three small pink and blue in the same order. And so on until the desired length is obtained, according to the circumference of the arm.
  2. Now we take a hook and we collect a couple of air loops at the beginning of the thread, move the first beads, then two loops with three small and one large bead go Pink colour. And we do the same action with the blue color.
  3. We thread the hook into a pink bead, move the beads closer and knit again. The same with the blue ones, but you need this loop to be higher than the previous pink one.
  4. Then we continue like this until the very end, and when the desired length is reached, we complete with a pair of ordinary air loops without using beads.

And here is another beautiful bracelet ready!

How to knit beaded harnesses: technology, patterns

Having prepared all the tools and materials, you can proceed to knitting harnesses from beads. The bundles are knitted in a spiral, in each row an equal number of beads. Most often, harnesses are knitted (they are also called cords) for 6 beads, but it is possible for 7 or more. True, the technique of knitting thick plaits is already a little different. More on that later. In the meantime, let's start learning to knit a thin cord of 6 beads in diameter.

Stage 1. stringing

First, on the thread of the ball, without cutting it in any case, they collect two meters of beads. The easiest way, of course, is to collect large beads of the same color. But often you want to diversify appearance jewelry, and then the beads are collected in different colors, following numerous patterns.

Collection "500 SCHEMES for knitting harnesses." Volume 1

To create beautiful and fashionable harnesses, you will need ready-made schemes a set of beads. You will find here cute patterns and color matching, get the opportunity to change the patterns to your liking in a special program in Russian, which is attached to the collection!

Collection "500 SCHEMES for knitting harnesses." Volume 2

Another 500 schemes, as well as examples of bundles connected by them.

I will write about this later, separately.

This kind of nuisance happens when stringing beads: when stringing beads, shifting farther and farther and unwinding the ball, we suddenly find that the thread is defective, it broke when winding it at the factory, so there is a knot on it. It seems to be a dead end, will you have to retype all the beads? No, carefully cut the thread with beads, tie one end of the fishing line to it, and tie the other end to the end of the ball of thread that remains (without a knot, of course). Carefully slide the beads along the line to the ball. Then we remove the fishing line and the remaining piece of thread.

For the first time, I recommend to collect beads, alternating two colors of beads: 6 black, 6 white, 6 black, 6 white and so on. (It will turn out a striped flagellum :-)) The fact is that the first rows are difficult for beginners, you need to knit sequentially, and the beads of the first row strive to fit into the third - and then everything gets hopelessly tangled. Therefore, it is easier to understand the principle of knitting if the rows are of different colors. Later, it will be easy for you to knit from beads of any color. It is possible to understand the principle of knitting by dialing 10 to 6 beads, this is enough. Start with large beads, it will be easier.

Stage 2. Knitting

So, you need to remember what an air loop is in knitting and how to make a half-column.

We make the first loop without a bead to start knitting.

We knit the first air loop without a bead

The first air loop without a bead is ready

Then the first air loop with a bead.

We move the bead to the hook

Grab the thread with a hook and pull through the loop

The first air loop with a bead is ready

We knit the first air loop with a bead - continuation of the action from the previous photo

Grab the thread with a hook and pull it through the loop

Move the second bead to the hook

Capturing a bead, we knit 6 loops. Something like this we knitted air.

Then we crochet into the first loop with a bead, closing the ring.

We move the first bead of the second row (black in the photo) closer to the hook.

We start the second row. Half column with the first bead

ALWAYS move the bead so that it is RIGHT AND TOP, above the bead of the previous row. The first 4 rows are the most difficult, because by knitting the bead not over the previous row, but on the side or under it (anything happens), you will get confused and end up with not a tourniquet, but a button)))) At least that's how it was with me in the process of studying.

Then we draw the thread with a hook through a loop with a white bead and the second loop on the hook, knitting a half-column. And then the whole tourniquet is knitted like this - in half-columns. Each next bead should be on top of the corresponding bead of the previous row.

Two rows. Side view

Having reached the next row (in our case, white), stop and count how many beads are in the row. If they are of a different color, as in our case, you can immediately see where which row turned out, whether all the beads are in place. If the colors are different - count when knitting, when you knit the first 6 beads with a half-column, look at how they are located.

Two rows. View from above

While it turns out krakozyabra))) And loosely. And everything sticks in different sides. But these are only the first rows, as it always happens usually. Do not tighten the loops too tight or too loose, however, after a few rows you yourself will see how it turns out, and you can change the tactics of knitting and tightening the loops.

Two rows. Bottom view (first row)

We knit the third row, checking if the beads rise OVER the beads of the second row. See what you should get.

Three rows. Side view

Fourth row. Something similar to a cord is already being drawn up. There are threads inside this tube, beads outside. Threads with proper knitting after ten rows should be almost invisible.

Four rows. Side view

The peculiarity of knitting is that the beads of the upper row always stick out, and after knitting the next one, the beads in the previous one lie flat.

The first rows are not always even, they can be cut off if desired. There are even those who advise to start a piece of a knitted bead cord and immediately continue to knit new cord cords on it. But I have not tried it, it is enough to learn confidently knit harnesses from the front rows, so as not to resort to auxiliary means. But, getting used to this technique, you will knit easily and quickly, without hesitation. If knitting is difficult even after ten rows, you are knitting too tightly or the threads have chosen too thin.

The next article will tell you how to finish the beaded cord, how to continue it if the beads ran out ahead of time and much more.

The video below shows a different way to start knitting a beaded cord: first we knit six air loops without beads, we close them into a ring, and then we knit a half-column along the bead into each loop, so that the first row will be made of threads, the second row will be made of beads, and then we continue as usual.

How to make a harness from ordinary beads?

A beaded harness, a master class for the manufacture of which is given below, is a simple product for self-fulfillment. Many needlewomen love to work with beads. And this is not surprising. Beautiful, bright beads look great in any product. The most common decoration is considered a tourniquet. It can be worn on its own or as a bracelet, necklace or pendant.

What it is?

There are different techniques for making jewelry. The tourniquet can be made using weaving or knitting. Weaving can be openwork, spiral, square, mosaic, Turkish, American, African. For each type you need scissors, fishing line, needle, beads and accessories.

Most simple view weaves consider American beaded harness. For beginners, this method will be especially interesting.

There is no need to pre-string the beads onto the thread. Weaving can be stopped at any time when the length of the product suits you.

How to weave?

You can weave a beaded harness using this technology, having familiarized yourself with some of the nuances. First, determine the stop bead, after completion of work, it should be removed and the thread should be fixed.

Weaving scheme: first put on a large bead, then a few smaller pieces. It depends on your preferences and wishes. The needle for work should be comfortable - thin and small. The sequence of actions is as follows:

  • take a large bead, and fasten the end of the threads on it;
  • put on 3 more pieces after the first;
  • then put on 10 pieces of smaller size;
  • fold them into a circle shape, threading the first and next beads with a needle and thread, and then pulling them together;
  • do the above steps again;
  • enter the second large bead with a needle, go through 2,3,4 and 5 elements of a large size, then pull the thread;
  • start the action again: take 1 large bead and string it on a thread, then add 10 small ones;
  • enter the third large bead with a needle, and go through 4.5 and 6, pull it tight;
  • repeat the action again until you get the desired length.

If desired, use a different amount of beads when making a bracelet or necklace. A little imagination - and the result of your creativity can be called an author's kit.

American, mosaic and square harness

The flat American tourniquet is slightly different in its technique from the first option. Bracelets and pendants look massive and voluminous. For beginners, the weaving process using this technique is complex and incomprehensible. But upon closer examination, everything turns out to be simple and accessible.

Necessary materials: blue beads No. 10, gray beads with a diameter of 8 and 10 mm, thread or fishing line, clasp, needle and scissors. Weaving a beaded harness requires perseverance and attention. How to weave, consider in stages:

  • plant 2 beads bigger size on the line;
  • then 5 beads should go, then 1 smallest and again 5;
  • leave a space to the edge of about 5 cm in order to tie the two ends of the thread at the end of the process;
  • pass the needle through the large beads and repeat the set of large and small elements;
  • push the resulting arcs apart, thread the needle from the bottom of the second large bead, then do the same process in the second row with a large bead;
  • make a set of beads of different sizes, as before - you should get an arc again;
  • go through two large beads as before, and repeat this process until the desired length of the cord is formed.
  • fasten both ends with zippers.

A flat American harness is suitable for making a whole set of stylish jewelry. Bracelets, earrings and rings will perfectly complement your look.

Mosaic tourniquet is considered the most popular. It is made up of elements of an odd number. The scheme is simple even for beginners:

  • step back a few centimeters from the edge, plant a few beads;
  • twist the loop, thread the free end of the thread into the hole of the first bead - this is how the first row of the bundle will look like;
  • plant a bead, thread it through the element of the first row through one - this will turn out the second row;
  • the third row is made in the same way, only the thread is threaded through the beads of the second layer.

As soon as the tourniquet is the desired length, fasten the edges so that the product is fastened. To do this, use special fittings.

The square tourniquet has a rather complicated execution technique. The scheme consists of the manufacture of several elements - this is the top, bottom and 4 sides. To twist a square tourniquet, you need to take only beads of the same size.

Start the action by stringing 4 beads on a thread. Roll them into a square shape. Then plant 3 beads, and insert the end of the thread into the third in a row. Put on 3 elements again, and thread through the second row. The result is two sides. geometric figure- cube. Next, you need to repeat the process, only thread the end of the thread through the central bead. Repeat the action on the opposite side. Fasten the thread firmly. Everything, the cube is ready. Continue the process step by step, and you will get the original square tourniquet.

Dial 8 beads. The first 3 should be different in color and shape from the rest, they should be larger than the others. Pass the end of the fishing line through the first 3 beads. Form a ring. Then plant 6 more elements, and pass the tip through the first 3, but skip the initial bead. You will end up with 2 rings. Continue weaving until the product reaches the desired length.

The rings must be carefully superimposed on each other so that a spiral is subsequently formed. The final look will come when you pass a new piece of fishing line through the large bead of the first row. Insert the right tip of the fishing line into the base of the large bead of the next row, and skip the left tip on the left, connecting all the elements together.

The spiral tourniquet looks good as a bracelet, while it can not be weighed down with a clasp. It is enough to connect the 2 ends with a knot - and a beautiful bracelet is ready.

Other types of harnesses

Dial the required number of elements, lock them into a ring. Pass the thread through the first bead again, as in the beginning. Weave in only one direction. The more elements you put on the thread, the thicker the product will turn out.

An African harness is woven in the form of a chain that has an even number of elements. It should be closed in a ring, then weaving in the usual way, while gaining 2 beads. To move to a new level, you should complete the row by simply withdrawing the fishing line from the bead, with which you will start the next row.

A beaded tourniquet, the manufacturing master class of which is discussed above, can be continued with another technique - knitting.

How to knit a crochet harness ohm?

We will consider a master class on knitting a harness below. To carry out the process, you need a hook, not a needle.

Before starting knitting, you need to decide on the color and pattern of the decoration. It is recommended to choose thin threads, use synthetics or cotton iris. The color of the threads should be close to the color scheme of the product. Choose a thin hook that matches the thread.

When starting to crochet a beaded harness, first make a knot on the thread so that the beads do not crumble. Put on a bead, and crochet an air loop, grabbing the thread. When the number of air loops is sufficient, connect them into a circle. Move on to the next step - knit single crochets. Using one loop, pull the other from the adjacent air loop. Pull the working thread through both loops and continue to make single crochets.

Turkish beaded cord is a common crocheted option. Materials for making: beads of different colors, hook, thin yarn, silicone hose or tube, plugs.

Knitting can be started by stringing beads on a thread. You should alternate the color depending on the pattern you choose. You cannot swap the beads, so as not to disturb the pattern. For beginners, bead knitting can occur in one color. Professionals use different colors and complex patterns when making a Turkish beaded cord.

Thread the desired amount of beads on the thread and form a loop for the hook by moving the first element. Grab the yarn with your hook and pull it through the loop. Tighten the thread tightly, then proceed with the same steps. When the first row is ready, fasten the beads in the second row. Continue until you have the correct size tourniquet. Create columns and strengthen the thread. Insert the tube, attach the plugs.

Crochet beadwork, whose master class is considered interesting and exciting, will appeal to every needlewoman.

The article was written based on materials from sites: svoimi-rukami-club.ru, hobbymama.ru, sdelala-sama.ru, pletenie-biserom.ru, moyapodelka.ru.

Beading is a popular way to create jewelry. The polarity is used by a beaded cord, which is used both as a bracelet and as the basis for a necklace around the neck. The tourniquet can be simple, twisted, square, contain drawings and patterns. The main thing is to follow the scheme and method of manufacture. Both the quality of the material and the density of the weaving of the beads will have an impact on the final result.

Materials and tools for weaving with beads

To weave a beaded harness, a minimum amount of materials is required.

These include:

  • Crochet hook;
  • round beads;
  • a needle used for stringing beads;
  • thread "Iris";
  • cones-caps for the ends of the bundle;
  • fasteners.

The diameter of hooks and beads, the color of the thread, is determined based on the intended model of the product. For beginners, it is better to take a light-colored base, it is easier to work with.

Smooth and even beads are called Japanese or Czech. To obtain a uniform pattern, you can not use beads from packages different manufacturers and even with a different production date - they will differ in shade. The hook is selected according to the diameter of the thread, and the needle must be thin.

Schemes for different forms of harness are drawn up on a special program using a computer.

The columns have their purpose:

  1. "Design" - determines the drawing of the scheme;
  2. "Unfolded" - shows the view of the harness in the expanded form;
  3. Harness - displays the appearance of the resulting harness.

Referring to them, it will turn out not to deviate from the plan and observe the drawing.

The rows are located to the right of the columns:

  • "Set" reflects the name of the schema in question;
  • "Circumference" is the number of beads in each row;
  • "Color repetition" gives information about the beads and their number in one rapport;
  • "Rapport" is a diagram of how to string beads onto a thread to get a pattern. It can be represented by several columns for complex weaving. In this case, the columns are read from top to bottom, starting at the leftmost.

The presented scheme is simple and consists of two colors. With more complex patterns, it is worth practicing on a small segment.

According to the calculation, for a bundle 45 cm long with a circumference of 12 beads, 540 strung beads (45x12) will be required. For beads No. 10 and 11, 10 cm is contained in 1 g of the product. It will take 54 grams of beads. If the product is two-color, then 27 grams of beads of each color.

Various weaving techniques and patterns

Weaving a beaded harness is performed in several variations, for which they are used different techniques for weaving or pattern. It can be a lace, with a cavity inside, or be square, mosaic.

Differs in simplicity of execution a mosaic plait. It uses beads taken in an odd number.

The weaving pattern is simple.

First, 7 beads are collected on the thread, weaving continues in a circle, holding the grip to the beads of the previous row, taken through one. After receiving the bundle of the declared length, weaving can be completed. At both ends, leave a supply of thread of 15-20 cm. With its help, the tourniquet is fixed using a double knot, and the tip must be burned. For a bracelet, the ends are fastened together. For decoration with a clasp, the remaining thread is used to strengthen the tourniquet and the clasp element. You can use both beads of any color, and 2-3, alternating them in several rows, as in the photo.

American technology

American weaving technique or simple American braid are considered in a simple way creating jewelry. Use either beads and beads of different sizes of the same color, or beads of two colors.

Detailed execution method:

  • fasten the first stop bead on the thread;
  • add 4 beads of the same color and size (hereinafter - the bead);
  • string three beads of a different shape or size (hereinafter referred to as beads), twist the thread and pull it through the holes of beads 2, 3, 4;
  • add 1 bead and 3 beads to the thread;
  • connect the bead with the previous ones, and fold the beads again and stretch through the beads starting from 3;
  • repeat the steps, stretching the folded beads through the 4th bead and all subsequent ones.

For more convenient use of the product, it will install a fastener from ready-made fittings.

A hook in skillful hands allows you to work faster and more gracefully. For the smallest beads, use hook number 1.

In weaving the pattern, the first three rows cause the greatest difficulty. To get a tourniquet of 7 cm, you will need 49 cm of strung beads. It is more convenient to measure the length of the base and string the beads at once, 7 beads of the same color, alternating colors as you wish.

The knitting process begins with an air loop, and then 7 loops with the capture of the first 7 beads, closing in a ring. When forming a ring, it is necessary to correct the beads outward, and the loops inward of the circle. In the second circle, the beads of the first color are connected with the beads of the second color with the help of a double loop, one is placed next to the other, stacked on its side. In this way, the tourniquet is completely knitted.

To make a braid in a square weave, you will need to do 7 steps according to the diagram.

Before starting work you will need:

  1. Cut the thread to the required length.
  2. Pass it through the needle, tying the ends near the eye, gently straighten the rest on the surface in the form of a loop.
  3. String 4 beads of the same color on the needle, tighten the loop.

The harness, which looks like a small snake, looks original and beautiful.

It is best to crochet it according to the pattern.

Two knitting techniques are used:

  • column;
  • half-column.

In the first case, the drawing will have a slope and seem more realistic.

A thick flagellum is easy to make using the openwork tourniquet technique. Schematically, it is presented as follows.

After the formation of the first three rows, every new three beads on the thread are pulled through the central element of the composition, consisting of 3 beads in the previous row.

The length of the harness can be different, as well as the color scheme of the material.

For a Turkish tourniquet, not only beads are used, but also other material, such as glass beads. According to the scheme, a spiral rope is formed from a combination of glass beads and beads connected in a pattern.

It is better to use glass beads and beads of similar or compatible colors. A hook is used to work. The number of beads is determined by the length of the glass beads - they must occupy the same length of the thread.

Flat tourniquet

A flat cord allows you to create amazing mosaic compositions. It has 20 beads and more in width. A feature is the use of a wide elastic band for the base.

Even a beginner in beading can make a beaded harness. The main thing is to give the process time and attention. The result will be an elegant tourniquet, which will serve as a decoration. You can make it in your favorite colors, or depict your favorite animal or object.

Hello!

This MK is dedicated to knitting a beaded harness with a half-column. In the first part of the MK, I will show you the principle of knitting and describe the main points. The second part will be practical. We will use the acquired skills to make a bracelet based on a knitted beaded cord. Here we will learn how to fasten the pin in the knitting process and touch on the design of the finished product.

All materials were purchased from:

Part One: Training

For the first part, MK took the largest available beads (unfortunately, it is hopelessly Chinese, but it will do for an example) and a bright green thread. The materials were selected for clarity, so you should not repeat this experiment at home.

1. Let's take a thread and a hook in our hands. As you can see, the way to grab the thread when knitting with beads is the same as in regular knitting. The position of the hook is individual. I keep it the same when knitting with and without beads. The main thing here is how comfortable it is for you personally.

Before proceeding directly to work, check the presence of the Muse (my furry mastermind is always there)!
2. Let's make the first loop. Insert the hook under the working thread on the left side and scroll it counterclockwise.
3. Now grab the working thread and pull it through our loop.

4. The first air loop is ready. We always knit it without beads.
5. Now we move the bead close to knitting and grab the working thread behind it.
6. We stretch the working thread through the loop. Thus, we knitted our first bead.
7. I will knit the tourniquet for 6 beads in a circle, so we knit 6 air loops with beads.
8. Insert the hook into the first air loop (we knitted it without beads).

9. We stretch the working thread through the loop. So we got a ring, which is the basis of our future tourniquet. We will knit it in a spiral, without lifting loops, with a half-column.
10. We introduce a hook under the first bead of the first row. We move it with a fingernail thumb right hand to the right, laying the hole up. We throw the working thread.
11. We move the new bead close to knitting, grab the working thread behind it and knit a half-column. So we knitted the first bead of the second row. At the very beginning of work, when the first rows are knitted, you need to be very careful. We knit one bead in each loop. Also, be careful not to skip a loop. So, in a loop with the first bead of the first row, we knit the first bead of the second row, in a loop with the second bead of the first row - the second bead of the second row, and so on.
12. Once again, let's see how to knit beads. We introduce the hook into the loop under the second bead of the first row, we put the bead to the right, with the hole up.

13. We throw the working thread. This is done so that the knitting remains inside the bundle, and the beads are on the surface.
14. We move the new bead close to the knitting, grab the working thread behind it and knit a half-column.
A little advice: in order not to go astray while knitting the first rows, I push exactly as many beads towards me as I need to knit in a row. For example, now you should have 6 beads ready. When the flagellum becomes longer, knitting will be much easier and more beads can be pulled up.
15. I knitted a small demonstration flagellum. As you can see, the knitted beads lie with holes up, the threads do not stick out (for work, you will select the threads in the color of the beads and they will not be visible at all). Loose beads in the last row, stand on the edge.

16. To make the end of the bundle look neater, we knit the last row with a half-column without beads. So all the beads are neatly stacked.
Part 2: Practice
17. For the manufacture of a tourniquet, which will become the basis of our bracelet, we select beads of two colors and threads that match the color. Without cutting the thread from the skein, we collect beads using a bead needle. In order to calculate exactly how many beads to collect for a product of one size or another, we use a simple formula: the length of the finished product * the number of beads in a circle. I will knit a flagellum for 8 beads, 17 cm long, which means I need to collect 136 cm of beads. When calculating the length of the flagellum, take into account 2-4 cm of stock for the clasp and decor. That is, as a result, from a flagellum of 17 cm I got a bracelet 20 cm long.
Our flagellum will be decorated simple pattern. To do this, I collect beads in the following sequence: 5 beige / 1 gold / 1 beige / 1 gold. During the set of beads, be careful not to get lost.

18. We knit the first 5 rows of the flagellum. The tail of the working thread can be hidden inside the bundle.
19. Now we insert the pin into the tourniquet, as shown in the figure.
20. To fasten the pin in the knitting, we stretch the loop through the eye of the pin, and then we knit a half-column in the usual way (we insert the hook into the loop under the corresponding bead, etc.). In order for the pin to be securely fixed in the knitting, this operation should be repeated 3-4 times.
21. The pin is secured. Now it will be easier for us to arrange our flagellum with trailers.

22. When it remains to knit 5 rows, we fasten the pin according to the same principle at the end of knitting.
23. Our second pin is secured in knitting. It remains to knit the last two rows and close the last row with semi-columns without beads.
24. So our flagellum is ready.

Now let's get the imagination going. You should choose the appropriate end caps, clasp and, of course, decorate our bracelet. As a decor, I chose a pendant with pink crystal, golden glass beads and golden acrylic leaves.

Good luck to you!

Handmade jewelry is distinguished by unusual solutions, natural beauty, in which there are no stamps. One of the types of crafts that can be used as jewelry is a beaded cord. There are many different options for weaving it, so patterns and finished products may not be repeated, being the embodiment of the master's fantasy.

Handmade jewelry is distinguished by unusual solutions, natural beauty, in which there are no stamps.

A simple beaded harness is the main element that a needlewoman needs to learn in order to master all the options for weaving from beads. The scheme according to which the work is carried out is easy to reproduce.

For work you will need:

  • beads (1-2 colors in 1 sachet) different;
  • fishing line (medium thickness, light);
  • scissors.
  1. Measure the fishing line of the required length (at the discretion of the needlewoman);
  2. Determine and remember the beads (bead) that will be the final;
  3. String a large bead on the fishing line, fasten at the end, then 5-6 pieces of a smaller size;
  4. Then you need to string 8 more pieces of a smaller size;
  5. After that, you need to roll them up, giving the workpiece the shape of a circle;
  6. Next, pierce the first and all subsequent beads with the fishing line, tighten tightly;
  7. Repeat action 3-6 again;
  8. Then you need to stretch the fishing line into the second bead, go through beads 2-5, pull them together;
  9. After that, all actions are repeated anew: a large bead is strung, then 10 small ones. In the third bead, you need to stretch the fishing line and draw it through beads 4-6, pull them together.

These steps are repeated until the craftswoman reaches the required length of the tourniquet. The master class is not strict, if desired, it is allowed to reduce or increase the number of beads in weaving, choose several colors and shades.

How to weave a Turkish beaded cord

Before you start weaving a Turkish tourniquet, you will need to purchase beads of different colors and sizes, glass beads, stones or beads - this is the main difference between a finished item for decoration or decoration. Such weaving for beginners may seem difficult, but by repeating the work several times, all difficulties will disappear.

For work you will need:

  • beads (contrasting colors);
  • fishing line; scissors;
  • hook.

Before you start weaving a Turkish tourniquet, you will need to purchase beads of different colors and sizes.

The work flow is as follows:

  1. Measure the fishing line of the required length;
  2. String 3 beads of the same color on it, then 3 beads, but of a different color;
  3. Make 2 air loops, for this you will need to pass the fishing line through the beads, but do not tighten it tightly - the first tier of the Turkish tourniquet is completed;
  4. Then 6 more beads are typed (3 different colors each);
  5. A hook is inserted into the first air loop between the beads, knitted;
  6. After that, the action is repeated, but without beads (the loop is fixed);
  7. Then the process is repeated, but the hook is inserted into the second loop, carefully knitted and fixed - the second tier of the tourniquet is completed.

The steps are repeated until the required length is obtained. In order to finish the work, you need to knit two loops without grabbing the beads. At the end, the fishing line should be tied into a knot (like a thread for sewing). Crocheting should be done very carefully. In a similar technique, bracelets, necklaces and even rings of various sizes are made.

Weave a beaded harness with a needle

Weaving harnesses is carried out using a thin needle.

Also for work you will need:

  • beads (3 different colors are used);
  • fishing line or thin silk thread;
  • scissors.

Weaving harnesses is carried out using a thin needle

Work order:

  1. String on a fishing line (thread) 6 beads of different colors in random order;
  2. Pull the needle with the fishing line (thread) through the first bead, then move up to the very last;
  3. Form a ring, tighten the thread (tighter);
  4. Next, the second row of the bundle is formed - for this purpose, it is necessary to string 6 beads, pull the fishing line or thread tightly to the first row;
  5. Pass a thin needle through the first beads, then through the remaining 5;
  6. The third row is woven using the same technology, but the needle is inserted through the second seed beads.

Rows are made until the required length of the tourniquet is reached. At the end, a knot is tightened on the fishing line or thread.

Tip: to get a pattern along the lines, you need to pass the needle through beads of the same color.

Crochet beaded harness: a simple pattern

To weave in this way, you will need beads (you can decorate the tourniquet with glass beads). The main process is not done with hands or a needle, but with a hook.

The work process is as follows:

  1. The beads are strung on a fishing line using a hook;
  2. Then a knot is made, after it there should be a bead;
  3. The fishing line is hooked, stretched - an air loop is obtained;
  4. The process is repeated until the required number of such loops is typed;
  5. After that, you should knit a row with a single crochet;
  6. Subsequent rows repeat the steps.

The main process is not done with hands or a needle, but with a hook

The general rule for such weaving is to follow the sequence of 1 bead, a loop made by a hook, after which all actions are repeated.

Do-it-yourself square beaded rope

The square or tetrahedral type of weaving is used to create beautiful and stylish bracelets. Similar flagella are the basis for beads and necklaces.

The weaving process looks like this:

  1. Dial 4 beads on the fishing line, weave a cross;
  2. Dial then 3 more beads;
  3. Pass the line from left to right through the first bead;
  4. Repeat the action, skipping the fishing line through 2, then 3 and beyond;
  5. After that, the process is repeated in the opposite direction;
  6. Then you should string 1 bead and pass the fishing line through the top bead;
  7. The next step is to skip the fishing line in three beads from the left from top to bottom;
  8. Next, 1 bead is typed and passed into the same 3 beads from top to bottom;
  9. Next, you need to tighten the fishing line;
  10. Pass the needle in the following sequence - tip - side bead - tip - side bead and tip again;
  11. Then steps 3 to 10 are repeated.

A square or four-sided weave is used to create beautiful and stylish bracelets or earrings.

For the first time weaving according to this pattern, it is recommended to use large beads or beads.

Types of harnesses: various options

There are dozens of types of beaded cords. The complexity of their weaving is different. Options that can be offered for a craftswoman - from the simplest to the most difficult to work with, requiring great concentration, attention and experience. There are the following popular types:

There are dozens of types of beaded cords

Each of them can be used both as a basis for a more complex product, and be a full-fledged independent decoration.

You can make harness jewelry not only from beads, but also from glass beads. For work, beginners should use a small and medium version, experienced ones can use standard glass beads (long) in weaving.

The work process is as follows:

  1. Dial an odd amount of glass beads on a thread;
  2. Pull the thread tight;
  3. Lock her in a ring;
  4. Pass one end through the first glass beads;
  5. String 1 bugle and pass the thread through 1,3,5 and then odd;
  6. The next row is performed similarly to the second, but the thread is passed through all the glass beads in the row.

At the end, secure the thread with a knot.

Thus, the beaded cords are varied according to the execution scheme. Finished decorations visually look very stylish. Craftsmen are able to perform various patterns during weaving, including roses.

Beaded harness. Master class for beginners

In this master class, we will learn how to knit a beaded cord, on the basis of which you can knit a bracelet, necklace or lariat.

You can watch a video tutorial on making a harness on the Melody of Beads channel on YouTube:

This lesson is aimed at needlewomen who are taking their first steps in knitting beaded cords. Today we will learn how to knit a thin tourniquet with a half-column, using the example of the "Rainbow" bracelet. We knit in a circle (in a spiral), without a lifting loop.

To make a beaded harness, we need:

  • Czech beads (color of your choice);
  • Needle for beads size 12 (it is convenient to collect beads);
  • Knitting threads CANARIAS or MICRON 20S/3 (you can also use MICRON 20S/2 threads, IRIS threads);
  • Crochet hook;
  • Pins (pins);
  • Connecting rings;
  • limit switches;
  • Toggle lock;
  • Scissors;
  • wire cutters;
  • Round nose pliers.

Now we collect beads: one bead of each color (and so on in a circle).

Since I was making a children's bracelet, I scored about 1 meter of beads per thread.

After the beads are dialed, remove the adapter to the side (it can be reused).

We start knitting

We take the thread with the short end towards us

wind up by the index finger

deeds one turn around the ring finger

we clamp the thread with the little finger. This is done so that the thread does not go too freely, a certain tension is necessary (if it is not convenient to hold the thread like this, it is not possible to create tension - you can simply pinch the thread with your knees and set the thread tension in this way).

We start a hook under the thread on the index finger

You should get a twisted loop.

and pull through the twisted loop.

The twisted loop is pulled into a knot and there is one loop on the hook.

Again we pick up the thread and pull it through the loop.

In total, 7 such loops (air) must be made, since we will knit 7 beads in a circle.

Here is such a pigtail of seven air loops should turn out. The loop on the hook does not count.

Insert the hook into the upper lobe of the first air loop.

Now there are two loops on the hook, pick up the thread

and stretch through both loops, thereby closing the pigtail into a ring.

To begin with, we will knit several rows without beads to form a “tail”, it will be more convenient to hold the work for it and further fasten the accessories.

Insert the hook into the next slice

now they (lobules) are on the outside of the ring. There are two loops on the hook again, we pick up the thread

and pull through both loops.

And again we wind the hook into the next slice.

This, in fact, is the way of knitting with a semi-stub.

So we knit 2-3 rows.

Now there is a "tail" and the pigtail is still visible.

We start knitting with beads

We move the first 7 beads closer to work.

We start the hook under the next slice, tightly push the first bead

and pick up the thread behind the bead.

Pull yarn through both loops. This is what the first knitted bead looks like.

And now two beads have already been knitted.

We do the same with the third bead.

We knit the entire first row in this way.

This is what the front row looks like.

The first row is connected.

We start knitting the second row

Now we will introduce the hook into the slice, on which the bead of the previous row, i.e. under the bead.

Important point: when we introduced the hook under the bead, we start the bead behind the hook.

Then we move the bead and make sure that it lies on top of the previous row.

We pick up the thread for the bead

and pull through both loops.

We start the hook under the next bead, the bead behind the hook, move the next bead and lay it on top of the beads of the first row

we pick up the thread behind the bead and pull it through both loops.

This is how two knitted beads of the second row look like.

We continue to knit in the same way.

Second row from top

It can be seen that the beads of the first row lie horizontally, and the beads of the second row stick up diagonally.

To understand whether everything is working out correctly, it is necessary to knit at least 1-1.5 cm: the beads should lie in a brick order.

You can see how the colors spiral. We knit further.

When all the beads are knitted, it is necessary to knit 2-3 rows again without beads to form a “tail” on the other side. Do not forget to start the bead of the previous row by the hook when we knit the first row without beads!

From the dialed meter of beads, I got a blank 13.5 cm long.

Finishing the ends

We unclench the loop of the pin and carefully, so as not to tear out the threads, we pass through the “tail” through and through.

We clamp the loops of the pins. We wear trailers.

Cut off the excess edge of the pin with wire cutters so that a piece of 0.8-0.9 cm (slightly less than 1 cm) remains. Use round nose pliers to make a loop on the other side of the pin.

We unclench the rings, we hook the pin loops on both sides, on the one hand we hook the carabiner on the same ring.

If you type more beads on a thread (1.30-1.50 m), you get a bracelet for an adult.
You can also make a set "Mother and daughter".

Beaded harness. Master class with step by step photos

Master class on beading. Weaving a tourniquet in two sizes, and attaching it to a pendant, a master class on how to make a pendant, see HERE.

In this master class, as you already understood, you can learn how to weave a tourniquet. Sometimes it is also called a cord. This harness can be used to create bracelets, or as independent necklaces, lariats, or in combination with various pendants.

And so, what do we need to create such a harness.

All we need is large beads and a fishing line with a needle. For fastening, we need huggers for beads, and callots. Kallot is an accessory for jewelry. With it, you can hide the knots and ends of the threads, fishing lines, and carefully fix the base for decoration. Callot or end caps, clips, crimps, will give your jewelry a neat and finished look. We also need a lock for the necklace, and two connecting rings.

Let's start making a harness. First we will make a string of 8 beads. And then weave a bundle of 6 beads. To be honest, ideally it is better to weave from 6, the tourniquet looks thinner and neater. But it's up to you.

Dial 8 beads on the fishing line.

Then, tie a fishing line at the junction of the last and first bead. Make some knots.

Now let's take a look at the diagram.

In this diagram, I drew in different colors, different rows of weaving. So.
Black color indicates the beginning of weaving.
Red is the first row.
Blue is the second row.
Green is the third row.

First you need to dial 8 red beads. The red lines are shown in the figure. Then, picking up one bead of the second, blue row (it's like in the picture, in real life we have our bead color). And weave through the bead of the previous row. As it shown on the picture. It's okay if they stick out in discord for now. Do not pay attention to it, then everything will work out for you, and you will see how everything will work out perfectly. Etc. Having passed the second row of blue, put on a bead, and weave the already green row, and not through the bead, but passing the fishing line through each bead of the previous row. Thus, at the end of the third row, you will pull off the fishing line, and you will see the outline of the tourniquet. Thus, weave further the tourniquet, alternating rows. Weave one row of beads through the bead, and weave the second row into each bead, inserting a fishing line. That is, you will.

4 row - through one bead of the previous row.
5 row - into each bead of the previous row, tightening.
6 row - through the bead of the previous row.
7th row - into each bead of the previous row.

Once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine. You will see, it will not be difficult for you to weave such a bracelet. And in the future, having mastered this technique, you will weave such a rope literally in half an hour. And now a lot of photos of the process itself.

How to weave a tourniquet of beads with your own hands

Jewelry made in the form of a cord or cord of beads looks very original and original. To obtain such jewelry, professionals use their secrets, follow complex specialized schemes, operate with several colors of beads at once, collecting them in a huge number of rows, and as a result receive products of amazing beauty.

Beginners who have a desire to learn the technique of weaving harnesses should start with simpler options.

Therefore, in today's master class, you will learn the two most common and easy techniques for weaving a spiral rope using two and three shades of beads.

First of all, decide how thick you want the tourniquet. It is worth noting that the easiest way for beginners is to give a tourniquet of exactly medium thickness, one ring of which has from six to ten beads. It is also worth noting that initially it is easier to work with large beads of a matte color and the same shape.

What are beaded harnesses

Not many people know that a beaded cord is a hollow cord, which is usually made with a crochet hook or without it, with a dense or openwork weave.
Let's see what types of harnesses exist.

Turkish. Such harnesses are made using a crochet hook.

Weaving is performed according to a certain pattern, using beads with glass beads. The result is a rather original decoration.

African harnesses. Twisted bundles, consisting of a different number of beaded spirals. It is considered one of the oldest beading methods.

American. These are beautiful and simple cords that have earned their popularity among American craftswomen.

Mosaic. Such harnesses are the most common, and the scheme for their implementation is quite simple even for beginners.

Twisted or spiral. It is believed that this is the most beautiful weaving, especially if made in contrasting colors. Twisted strands of beads are usually woven into voluminous necklaces, often combined with openwork weaving for originality.

Square or tetrahedral harnesses. This is a rather complicated type of weaving, so it is suitable only for professionals. But the tetrahedral shape of the product looks quite original and is perfect for decorating a complex design, with inserts made of natural stones.

Openwork. Such harnesses are woven with gaps, due to which the product becomes more flexible and looks light and weightless.

Shaggy. Already from the name we can conclude that such harnesses look complex, voluminous, fluffy. But this only adds to their attractiveness.

They look great when combining beads of different shapes and sizes with other accessories - beads, leaves, flowers.

Tricolor Beading Technique

For a tourniquet, you will need beads of three shades, but of the same shape, a thin needle, and a silk thread.

Look at the drawing. We will understand under the value A - one color of the beads, B - the other, under C - the third.

First row. String six beads on the needle in this order: 1A - 1B - 1C - 1A - 1B - 1C.

Pull the needle through the first bead (1A) and then up to the last bead (1C) and form a ring. Pull the thread as tight as possible. At each stage, follow the implementation of this action - this is very important. Otherwise, the rings of your tourniquet will not hold their shape.

Second row. Dial six beads in the same order and pull them tightly to the first row. Insert the needle into the first bead of the first row and pull through all the others.

To get a linear pattern, you need to pass the needle through beads of the same color. For a spiral pattern through a bead that is nearby.

Third row. Cast on six beads again in the same sequence and pass the needle through the second bead in the previous row, going through all the other beads.

In the fourth row - we pass through the third bead, in the fifth - through the fourth, in the sixth - through the fifth, in the seventh - through the sixth.

From the next step, you need to repeat the steps in the same way.

Two-color harness

String five beads on the thread light color, and four dark. Pull the needle in the opposite direction through the light beads, except for the very first one. You should get a ring in which there will be beads of different colors on both sides.

All subsequent rows of the bundle are created according to the same principle. One light-colored bead and four dark ones are typed. The needle is passed in the opposite direction through the next four light beads.

At the end, you should add a clasp to the harness and you have a wonderful bracelet ready.

The main types of beaded cords

Today we will talk about what types of beaded cords are, and tell you how their weaving patterns differ.

To begin with, I would like to note that a beaded cord is a hollow cord that can be made with openwork or dense weaving. Moreover, according to the technique of execution, it can be knitted (a thread and a hook are used) and wicker (a fishing line and a needle are used).

Many years ago, the first plaits were woven from threads, stringing beads on them. First, flat wide ribbons were made, and then they were sewn into a hollow tourniquet. Over time, this technique has changed, and now the decoration is woven from a single thread or fishing line (although stitching is still used in some patterns).

By type, the plaits are: mosaic, openwork, square, Turkish, twisted, shaggy and also distinguish ndbele plaits.

As a rule, materials such as fishing lines of a certain thickness (should correspond to the dimensions of the internal holes of the beads), beads, needles for beads, round nose pliers, scissors, wire cutters and jewelry accessories are used for their weaving. The latter is needed in order to hide the knots from the fishing line and make a beautiful fastener (for example, a hugger, callots, connecting rings, a carabiner).

Mosaic tourniquet

Mosaic tourniquet is one of the most common, since the scheme for its implementation is quite simple. It is woven from an odd number of beads. There may be 5, 7, 9 or even more, but it is better to take a smaller number, so the decoration will be more accurate.

Advice: during weaving (whatever the types of beaded cords), it is necessary to ensure that the product is dense and at the same time plastic. To do this, you need to learn how to weave with the same thread tension along the entire length of the decoration.

Weaving pattern. As we have already said, there is nothing complicated in it.

1. It all starts with the fact that the necessary number of beads is strung on the fishing line, say 7. Then they are closed in a ring (the free end of the fishing line is pulled through the first bead). At the same time, 15 centimeters of free fishing line must be left at the base of the product, which will be needed later to secure the tourniquet. The first row is ready.

2. The second row is woven in mosaic. That is, now after stringing each new bead, a fishing line or thread is passed through one bead of the first row. First it will be the 3rd, then the 5th and 7th.

3. And the third row is made in such a way that the fishing line is pulled through each bead of the second row. That is, her needle must be inserted through the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on beads until the current row ends. Then everything else does the same. The fourth row is a mosaic, the fifth is a solid weave.

4. When you get a tourniquet of the desired length, its ends are fixed. They are either woven together, or, using special fittings, they make a fastener.

As a result of such weaving, an ornament with a rather dense structure should be obtained.

openwork tourniquet

This type of harness differs from the previous one in that it has an openwork pattern and weaves a little differently. It can be quite wide in section and consist of an even or odd number of beads. For example, there may be 11 or 14 pieces. It all depends on personal preferences and the specific method of execution.

Advice: to make such a tourniquet “softer”, it is worth making larger gaps in weaving. And for this you need to collect only an odd number of beads.

Weaving pattern. To make it clear to everyone how to make an openwork tourniquet, consider a specific example.

1. The first row is formed from 4 beads of the same size, strung one after another and woven into a ring.

2. The second row is formed as follows: three new beads are drawn onto the fishing line, and the needle is threaded through the next three beads of the first row. That is, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th are skipped, and the fishing line is threaded into the 5th. Thus, the entire first row is braided (then the needle passes through the 9th and 13th beads).

3. The third row is woven in the same way through three beads with fastening in the 4th.

Such bundles can be used not only to create jewelry, but also for decorative braiding of vases, decanters and other products.

Square harness

Unlike the previous two, the square harness is woven according to a more complex pattern, and it looks significantly different. Since it is called square, the principle of its creation lies in weaving the bottom, four sides and top.

Advice: in order for the square to turn out to be of the correct shape, it is desirable to make such bundles of beads of the same size.

Weaving pattern. The general scheme of weaving this bundle is a little difficult, but it is only at first glance, as soon as the first cube is formed, everything will immediately become clear.

1. To begin with, four beads are strung on a thread and fastened into a kind of square.

2. Then they pick up three more new beads and thread the needle through one bead from the beginning of the row (that is, into the 3rd). Then they collect three more and again pass the needle through the second bead from the thread (1st). It turns out two walls of the cube.

3. Now, in order to raise them, the thread is passed through the adjacent bead (5th) and, having strung only one bead, the thread is pulled through the central bead of one of the sides of the cube (the one at number 9 in the figure).

4. To complete the cube, one more bead is strung on the thread and the needle is threaded through the central bead of the opposite wall (number 6). By tightening the thread, you can see the finished cube.

The result is a fairly dense tourniquet, which can be diversified in many ways. For example, on top of it you can weave a row of beads of a contrasting color or connect it with their help with another square bundle.

Turkish tourniquet made with a hook. Beads with glass beads are strung on a thread, and then weaving is performed according to a specific pattern. The result is quite beautiful decoration with original drawing.

twisted tourniquet

To create it, you only need a thread and a needle. It has a relief, spiral structure, and therefore compares favorably with all the others.

Weaving pattern. In fact, there may be several weaving patterns. But we will talk about one, which can be called the main one.

1. In the example, two colors of beads are used, which allows you to clearly see the twisted pattern. First, 7 beads are strung on the thread - 4 black and 3 purple. Then a loop is made by threading the needle through four black beads at the same time.

2. Now 4 more new beads are put on the thread - 3 purple and 1 black. This time, the needle is again passed through the black beads, only not after 4, but after 3 with a shift up. To secure the loop, the needle is threaded through 1 black bead that has just been added to the overall pattern.

The main types and techniques of weaving beaded cords

Types of beaded cords

Beaded cords resemble hollow cords created with an openwork or dense method. As for the execution technique, it can be knitted and woven.

By type, such products are divided into:

  • openwork;
  • twisted;
  • square;
  • mosaic;
  • Turkish.

For all methods of creating such decorations, the same tools are used:

  • fishing line;
  • beads;
  • needle;
  • accessories;
  • scissors.

The main condition for this work is the correct tension of the beads. Therefore, you must strictly adhere to the scheme and make sure that in the process of creating jewelry, each element is woven with the same density.

Mosaic tourniquet

Such beaded cords are the most popular due to their ease of work. For beginners, this is the best start to practice. Its feature is that the product is made up of an odd number of elements. On the video you can see detailed master class his creation.

The process of making a harness

The weaving pattern of this product is very simple:

Harness square

A master class for weaving such a thing is quite complicated. Therefore, it is not suitable for beginners. Similar products are very different in form and method of creation. A feature of the scheme is the manufacture of four elements: top, bottom and 4 sides. A feature of weaving square beaded cords is that you need to use beads of the same size in your work. Only under this condition, the decoration will turn out to be of the correct form. Before you start making such a product with your own hands, it is better to watch the video instructions for creating it.

How to create a square harness:

Twisted (spiral) tourniquet

Twisted beaded cords are distinguished by their unusual structure and beauty. There are many different weaving patterns for this decoration. But for beginner beading lovers, we have prepared a simple master class.

For the harness you will need:

  • fishing line or special thread;
  • black and red beads;
  • needle;
  • scissors.

Preparation method:

Manufacturing process:

american tourniquet

This is one of the most interesting harnesses. The master class for its manufacture is quite simple, so any needlewoman can handle this work. Such beading is very popular among needlewomen.

For manufacturing you need:

  • fishing line;
  • red beads;
  • black beads.

Creation method:

  1. The weaving pattern is easy and affordable. First, you need to put on one bead on the fishing line and fix it tightly by threading the end of the thread in both directions;
  2. Then you need to dial seven beads. Four black and three red. We stretch the end of the fishing line through the first four elements. Get a loop;
  3. Then we string one black and three red beads. The first one needs to be attached to the base, add one element and push the end of the fishing line through the remaining beads;
  4. This method should be used to make all subsequent tiers. That is, each time we add four beads. Where one will be the main and three side. The main feature of each step is that you constantly need to draw the line through the four main beads;
  5. After the entire tourniquet is ready, the ends of the fishing line must be well fixed. The master class ends here. It remains only to attach the fittings on both sides.

Today, jewelry made from small beads is very popular. All fans of beading know how to weave a beaded rope. But this skill has not become known in our time. Even in the old days, similar little things made by hand were popular. Although then the materials were somewhat different in color and structure. For many nations, plaits made of small beads or, in our version, made of beads are not only an ornament, but also a magical amulet. And if some kind of ornament is made on such products, then it acquires stronger effects.
