Denis Simachev: designer of fashionable and creative clothes. Egor Simachev: biography, career, personal life Lingerie from Simachev

The Russian Federation has a great many talented people in completely different fields, including art, architecture, sculpture and even fashion. One of such outstanding personalities is the designer Denis Simachev. He is known to the world for his unique collections of men's and women's clothing, which are not similar to the work of other fashion designers.

Biographical information

The now famous artist and fashion designer was born in Moscow in June 1974. Despite the fact that Denis Simachev was brought up in a military family, he entered the College of Arts and Graphic Design (Moscow). Later, fate brings him to the Spanish Pivot Point Academy, and then to the Yu. Grymov Studio, where he becomes an advertising specialist.

In parallel with the studio, Denis manages to get another education at the Moscow Textile Academy in the field of shoe and clothing design.

He received his first award in 1999, when an international shoe exhibition was held. In the same year, Denis Simachev took the honorable first place and became the best among young designers at the Step into the Future competition.

Then new achievements: entering the final round of the competition called Smirnoff International Fashion Awards, which was held in Hong Kong, where the public saw his collection "Quasi-future Eternity".

Climbing the career ladder

In 2001, Denis Simachev decided to create his own company under his name Denis Simachёv. Literally a year later, the audience saw a new collection at the famous fashion show.

Interestingly, already in 2006, a boutique was opened in Moscow, which sold items exclusively under the Denis Simachёv brand. The following year, Simachev received an offer to design the Atov DSS snowboard, and from that moment began his cooperation with sports firms.

For the first time the fashion designer showed his collection in the Russian capital in 2009.

Denis Simachev was invited as a co-host on Channel One to lead a project related to fashion trends. In August 2011, he became the host of the Fashion Sentence, known to the audience.

Every year Simachev's collections take part in prestigious fashion shows during fashion weeks in the Spanish city of Milan. It is noteworthy that in the clothes and shoes designed by Denis, there is a bet on national motives.

Prizes and awards

Denis Simachev, whose clothes are already worn almost all over the world, has been repeatedly awarded prizes and awards for his talent and achievements in the field of fashion. So, in addition to winning the "Step into the Future" contest, he was awarded a prize at the "Youth Podium" contest, which was held in Moscow.

In 2005, in the same Moscow, Simachev received the Astra award in two categories at once: Designer of the Year and Menswear Designer. A year later, the famous GQ magazine recognized Denis as the best among the country's designers.

Collections

Once in an interview, Denis said that the release of clothes was not part of his plans, but after Hong Kong, the process of serious development began. He began to receive job offers, and he himself thought about the models of Russians, imbued with patriotic motives. This became his personal style, which has a lot of fans.

What does Denis Simachev release? The clothes sold under his brand include clothes for men and women of different directions and styles, as well as accessories, shoes, etc.

Sports suits stand out against the general background. They combine convenience, fashionable design and colorful prints: Russian floral ornaments, images of matryoshka dolls, Khokhloma patterns, etc.

T-shirts

Denis Simachev brought T-shirts into a separate fashionable column - bright, colorful, with frank inscriptions in Russian and understandable for the most part only to a Russian person. They immediately attract the attention of others, so it is impossible to go unnoticed in a Denis Simachёv T-shirt.

The most famous inscriptions on his T-shirts are: “I am not the sea, I don’t care”, “Our everything is oil”, “PRET” and many others. There were even products with a portrait of the current president of the Russian state, as well as with the heroes of famous cartoons.

The collections contain a harmonious combination of different shades, practicality, affordable prices and ease of wearing. Sweatshirts are created with the same sense of style. All products of the Russian brand combine brightness, creativity, love for folk traditions and at the same time glamour.

Bar and boutique

The clothes and shoes of the Russian designer gained such great popularity among fashionistas that he had the idea to open a boutique for selling products of his brand - the so-called mono-brand store. In this case, it was also decided to act unusually and combine a boutique with a bar. So, in a common building, one floor, the first, was occupied by a bar, and the second - by a shop.

This location brought an even greater number of customers to the store, who, after shopping, settled down at a table in a cozy cafe. Here, gourmet dishes are created with taste and served in a fusion style, which attracts even discerning gourmets here. Thanks to the efforts of the entire team and Simachev himself, both establishments quickly became popular.

DENIS SIMACHEV, one of the most successful Russian designers, in an interview with his close friend Ksenia Sobchak.

Denis Simachev - about why he got married, does Mikhail Prokhorov help him with money and for what reason he loses 30 million euros every month

First of all, I want to talk to you about business. It seems to me that this is only possible in our country, for a bar to bring in more money than a boutique, a design business...

I want to correct you. Initially, BAR DENIS SIMACHЁV was conceived as a promotional store. I reasoned like this: we will pour alcohol, tasty food, and then we will drag the client upstairs to the boutique. When we first opened the bar, we paid extra for visitors - for example, for each client's check of one hundred rubles, we subsidized our fifty. This went on for about four months, then we slowly reduced the “subsidies”, and then completely reduced them to zero. And by the way, I can’t say that the bar earns more than the store - they are on a par. I look at bar and boutique revenue so I know. ( smiling.)

Everyone who understands economics says that there is no profitable design business in Russia today. Money, mostly sponsorship, is somehow found, but the business itself does not bring profit.

But the fashion industry exists in the West, and people make money from it. I found out how it works there and suggested this scheme here. So, in fact, my business began.

Tell in details.

In the West, how much you have invested in PR is how much you have earned - plus talent, of course. And we generally believe that if you create a collection and make a show, people should immediately come running to you and buy something... In fact, everything is more complicated. And the bottom line is that you don’t get money right away. After the show, you have to take things to the showroom and wait for the buyer to arrive, receive the order, place it in production, produce it, and so on ... At the same time, in the West it is important what journalists will say about you after the show, but here everyone is on this part programs don't care. In the West, the buyer focuses on publications in the press. For example, during fashion week, he wakes up in the morning in a hotel, reads in the newspaper that one of the designers is now in favor, and decides for himself: I will go to this showroom, but not to this one. The opinion of a journalist for a Western buyer is the law. He will not risk the budget and buy, for example, Versace, if the brand is not in trend this season.

Another paradox: people selling fake DENIS SIMACHЁV earn an order of magnitude more than you.

One hundred orders of magnitude.

I saw these fakes: without looking at them, it is impossible to distinguish them from the real ones. If you were selling your clothes at normal prices, all this money would be yours.

Yes, but you think about why they fake me.

Because it's fashionable.

And it is fashionable, because it is expensive and inaccessible. As soon as you enter every home with your affordable product, you stop being interesting. Transforming from luxury to mass market. The end of this sad story is known.

There is some hypocrisy in this. Not only from your side. The company may be two years old, but there are as many show-offs as if it were a Chanel House with almost a century of history. When I go to the store of the same Dries van Noten, I understand why it costs so much. Huge business, multi-million dollar investments, history... And when our designers charge such prices...

Let me explain to you. If a person is used to buying a jacket for 300 euros, then he will buy it from both Dries van Noten and the little-known Vasya Pupkin, the main thing is that he is hooked by the idea. The price does not arouse suspicion if the client is used to it. And maybe a jacket for 100 euros would have alerted him greatly. And with pricing, everything is simple: manufacturing factories for all brands are approximately the same, and I place an order, for example, for shirts in the same place as Dries Van Noten, and Etro, and Burberry. So the price is the same as those of these respected brands, only they have a larger advertising budget. It was psychologically difficult for me to open a store on this street (the DENIS SIMACHЁV boutique is located in Stoleshnikov Lane. - Note. OK!). I understood that next to me were the mastodons of the fashion industry: Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Cartier - very serious neighbors. And I decided: since I can’t compete with them, I will be hooligans. So it turned out boldly, a little naively: Khokhloma on the facade, a bar under the store, you don’t understand the interior, as if everything was dragged from the garbage dump - it seems like I understand my level, so I treat myself and my neighbors on this street ironically. ( smiling.)

Many said that you opened the store with Abramovich's money.

Of course they did.

Is this true?

When you don't know what to say, you can put together a theory from any detail. And my acquaintance with Abramovich immediately grew into patronage.

Well, there is nothing shameful in patronage.

And it's not about shame. It's just illogical. A serious businessman would not...

Sometimes serious businessmen are weird - they start a kind of business for the soul.

I do not believe that Roman Arkadyevich is weird in business.

Does anyone sponsor you?

They talk about Prokhorov.

Is this true? You are communcating?

Of course we communicate. I communicate with many people from the business elite, but this does not mean that they invest their capital in me. I have financial partners known in this circle. And rumors, you have to understand, appear from the fact that the party does not know examples of a stable European fashion business in Russia. So they got it into their heads that designers cannot do without sponsors, and since I am a Russian designer, it means that I must act according to the same scheme. Sorry, but it's not. And it is unlikely that I will work according to the rules adopted here. I've never been in a cabal.

You're not gay yet...

Yes, it pisses off a lot of people. I'll tell you: in the world of fashion, it's hard to build bridges without this piquant trait.

Are you falling in love?

Always, that's my weakness. Beautiful people revolve around me, but the state of being in love for me is not a feeling for a specific person, it is an artist's love for everything beautiful.

And how does the wife feel about it?

Somehow puts up with it and continues to be a mystery to me.

Does she accept you for who you are?

I think so, although it is certainly difficult.

You are not Julia. I'm not just a journalist. I won't name names, but I have two girlfriends who spoke about you with such breath ... For me, you are a fashionable, cool guy. Very talented, moderately silent, interesting, educated. But it turns out that you are also a fatal man who breaks hearts ...

It's nice to hear, of course, but it's hard for me to comment on it. ( smiling.)

Do you fall in love with models?

What kind of women do you like?

Raised.

What about appearance?

Appearance is secondary. It is important that the person has something to say.

Why did you get married?

Wife, children, family - this is the basis. All these acquaintances that you are talking about are my creative environment. And it so happened that I have it very pleasant and beautiful.

Could you leave your family?

No, I can't imagine it. Family is unshakable for me. It is impossible for my environment to get into this niche of my life.

You know, it's strange for me: you are a public person, but no one knows what your wife looks like. Even me! Nobody saw her. Some mythical creature...

For you, she is a mythical creature, but for me, a real person, the second half. You know how aggressive society can be towards those who are famous. I don't want my life to be discussed. I do not need to take pictures of my house, communicate with my relatives.

Refine information

History: Denis Simachev is one of the first Russian designers to become famous abroad. Unlike Vyacheslav Zaitsev and Alena Akhmadullina, Simachev did not work with puffy dresses, but with T-shirts, sweatpants and earflaps. The designer exploited all national stereotypes: from Khokhloma to Putin, reflecting them, first of all, in ironic prints. Replicas of Simachev's T-shirts are still in great demand among Chinese tourists - you can find them both in the stalls near the Savior on Spilled Blood and on aliexpress. It was because of such popularity that the designer decided to stop working on the brand.

Range Denis Simachev's new brand Holligan is not much different from the previous brand, but the mood is different - hooligan. T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatshirts, hats, socks are now black, like rough jewelry, and even baseball bats (they were sold out first). Humor in the style of udaf.com and folk patterns were replaced by gangster symbols, and instead of characters from Soviet cartoons on T-shirts, there are portraits of poets of the Silver Age.

Relevance: Simachev claims to be an absolute novelty and smiles at natural comparisons: “I don’t see anything in common with Rubchinsky’s aesthetics, except for love for the Motherland.” And the fact that the models in the Hooligan advertising campaign are entirely from the current-marginal Lumpen agency is probably just a coincidence.

Uniqueness: Irony over everything Russian, including gangster bullets and golden domes, as a corporate identity. Of course, who else would think of making a print with Mayakovsky dressed in adidas, or Dostoevsky in tattoos.

Price policy: from knitted socks for 900 rubles. to the belt with a 925 silver buckle for 59,000 rubles, t-shirts 4,900 rubles.

The ability to dance is a real trend today. Dancing is an indispensable attribute of a healthy lifestyle, mobility and self-confidence. So it is not surprising that many parents enroll their children in specialized courses from early childhood.

Egor Simachev is called a natural mentor by many. The biography of this person is interesting to many, but he prefers not to stick out the personal. What can you learn about this ballet dancer?

Who is he?

So, who is Yegor Simachev? The biography of this artist is little known. He was born in Moscow, and his creative path was practically predetermined, since his relatives are ballet dancers. In 1995, Simachev graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, where he studied with a teacher. After that, he was accepted into the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theater.

He began working on a contract basis only in 2017. By this time, the artist has established himself as a professional and even managed to light up in the world of show business.

Repertoire

Since 1998, Egor Simachev began to develop in the profession. His biography began with the party of Signor Tomato in the production of "Cipollino" by Khachaturian. A year later there was a sleeping bag in Shchedrin's The Little Humpbacked Horse. After that, he danced a mazurka and a Krakowiak in the film "Polish Ball" in the opera "Ivan Susanin". He was in the guise of a village notary in Herold's "Vain Precaution". The year 2003 was successful in the field of work, when Simachev became Gavrilych in Shostakovich's Bright Stream, Pyotr Leontyevich in Anyuta to the music of Gavrilin, and, finally, Lorenzo in Minkus's Don Quixote. The following year, success in work again - Galifron in Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, the postmaster in Ward No. 6 to the music of Pärt, Milyaga in A Midsummer Night's Dream to the music of Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. Moreover, in the last work, he became the first performer at the Bolshoi Theater.

Then there was a quiet period, which, nevertheless, was productive. These are Nepmen in Shostakovich's Golden Age, eunuchs in Adana's Le Corsaire (and Simachev also performed this ballet among the first). Finally, David in Asafiev's Flames of Paris, the Old Musician in La Sylphide, and Quasimodo in Esmeralda. After Camuso in "Lost Illusions", Bart Boromeo in "Marco Spada" and shareholder in "The Lady of the Camellias" to Chopin's music.

A new step in development

Yegor Simachev has a very large professional experience behind him. His biography makes a good impression on all those who are interested and important in ballet. Therefore, it is not surprising that many people want to have such a professional as a teacher for their children.

Yegor Simachev's ballet workshop is a success. Children from one to 11 years old are brought here. Ballerinas of the Bolshoi Theater work with students. Classes are not very long - one academic hour. During this time, teachers pass on their skills to beginners, teach them to do pirouettes and fouettes, not forgetting to get acquainted with the traditions of the Russian ballet school.

Children are divided into groups depending on age from 1.5 to 3 years, from 4 to 6, from 6 to 8 and from 8 to 11. Of course, when dividing, the level of training, physical fitness and general capabilities of the child are important. Training is built in such a way as not to harm the child. Of course, classes are held without the arch-strictness that is present in adult ballet classes.

For supplement

A very interesting and versatile person is the choreographer Egor Simachev. The biography of this person is rich in events, and therefore it is quite logical that there are additional services in the workshop. For example, ballet lessons in French and English. Basic knowledge of the language is not required, but pre-registration is required. You can sign up for a trial lesson or get a subscription right away. At the lessons, the child is taught grace, the art of improvisation.

Classes are stretching, musical rhythm, choreography and ballet exercise. Even if after such a course the child does not become a theater star, he will be competently and harmoniously developed physically. A large number of graduates and an abundance of awards speak in favor of the workshop, including the quality mark "The best for children" and an honorary diploma "For making a special contribution to the preservation of Slavic values."

Why is it worth coming?

Firstly, people come here because of the name of the founder, as Yegor Simachev symbolizes the ballet. The biography of this artist, the luminary is impressive. He is a performer of many solo and character parts. In addition, he is the heir to a famous and respected ballet dynasty, who simply cannot afford to do anything badly. To the choice of teachers for the school, to creative and organizational issues, to the wishes of the visitors of the studio, he approaches meticulously to the extreme. Each client can express his opinion personally to Egor and get a response.

Secondly, professional choreographers and ballerinas from the Bolshoi Theater and the Igor Moiseev Ensemble conduct classes in the studio. They teach not only to repeat movements, but to penetrate into the very essence of the dance, to absorb the special culture of ballet.

Thirdly, children's health is taken care of here, and the teaching methodology is aimed at eliminating and preventing problems of the musculoskeletal system.

Additional hobbies

Why is Yegor Simachev so interesting to people? The biography, personal life and hobbies of this person evoke associations not only with ballet, but with literature and even the world of show business. It turns out that the artist has two books on his account. One of them is "Vampires, or Blood-Sucking Corpses". The second - "Mystical Paris. In the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci."

Simachev wrote about vampires in collaboration with Gleb Angry and Alexander Biryukov. The book received very mixed reviews. Still, it is very small in terms of the number of pages, while the font is large. The story is dragged out in places. There are digressions not quite on the topic. But there is an interesting historical background about Dracula, as well as the history of writing and creating productions of Frankenstein's Monster. Lots of rumors and lots of facts about everything from Vlad the Impaler to Van Helsing.

The book about mystical Paris is reminiscent of Dan Brown's novel "The Da Vinci Code" not only in its mood, but also in its presence in the plot, where legions of curious tourists travel to France to touch the mysteries.

About personal

Popularity became greater when the choreographer Yegor Simachev decided to settle down. He never tried to advertise his biography and personal life, but it became difficult to hide when the world found out about his affair with the daughter of Rodion Nakhapetov and Vera Glagoleva. Anna was born into a family of Soviet actors, she entered the Leningrad Choreographic School early, and three years later she moved to the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. In 2006, the actress and ballerina married a colleague at the Bolshoi Theater - Yegor Simachev. Before the wedding, the couple lived together for several years. From Yegor, Anna had a daughter, Polina, but the child did not save the family union.

The ex-spouses cited domestic disagreements as the reason for the separation. However, they did not become enemies and now maintain friendly relations. Egor spends a lot of time with his daughter. After a divorce from Anna, the artist married again, moreover, also to a colleague in the shop. In this marriage, Simachev has three children.

Sad occasion

Most often, the biography and personal life of actor Yegor Simachev remain shrouded in mystery, but recently there has been some deviation from the rules. The choreographer wrote a frank letter, telling the details of the illness of his former mother-in-law, Vera Glagoleva. It turned out that during the quarrels of the ex-spouses, Glagoleva often took the side of her son-in-law and their relationship was very warm. Yegor wrote that he appreciated this maternal attitude, care, often called his mother-in-law a second mother.

With Glagoleva, Simacheva was united by a terrible disease - oncology. They learned about the disease almost at the same time and shared all the hardships. Simachev was lucky, he got out. But Glagoleva left. Yegor wrote words of support to Vera Glagoleva's husband and all family members.
