Coconut oil - the secrets of health and beauty. My Review of Banna's Best Extra Virgin Coconut Oil in the World Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil- this is the product that I simply had to write a review about in the first place, because it was with him that my purchases of food / cosmetics (and not just nutritional supplements) in the online store began. In addition, coconut oil, in principle, has become one of my favorite products, and I eat it almost every day, which I advise you to do, because it is a complete benefit, benefit and benefit. Well, tasty treats, of course! ๐Ÿ™‚

This review is about coconut oil. extra virgin, that is, the first cold pressing. It retained not only all the benefits of coconut, but also its unique wonderful aroma.

In another review, I talk about, also organic. It is devoid of coconut flavor and has a higher , so it is better suited for frying and other cooking, and it is also what many people prefer to use for cosmetic purposes.

Unlike oils more familiar to us, in which unrefined means good, and refined means harm, refined coconut oils are almost the same benefit as the first cold pressing. This, of course, is only about coconut oil that has been properly refined (without the use of any chemicals, using only steaming) and therefore remains organic and healthy.

Which brands of coconut oil have I tried?

I ordered on iHerb and tried this product from the following manufacturers: Nutiva, Jarrow Formulas, nature's way, Healthy Origins, Agrilife and like Now Foods more. Last time I bought organic extra virgin coconut oil from the company Source Naturals:

All of them and many others (except for the firm Agrilife, which I bought in Russia) are presented on the "Coconut Oil" page of the iHerb website - you can immediately go to familiarize yourself.

Despite the fact that the packaging of some manufacturers indicates extra virgin, and on the packaging of others simply virgin- It does not make any difference between the goods. In coconut oil (unlike olive oil), this means the same thing - the first pressing. It just sounds cooler with "extra"! ๐Ÿ™‚

What can I say: all manufacturers are good, and there is no one directly best among them. All products taste good, have a unique wonderful coconut aroma, all are environmentally friendly (organic), and therefore the best, probably, can only be for each individual - for example, because you liked the flavor notes a little more, or the pancakes were better. ๐Ÿ™‚

However, I do not compare unrefined coconut oil on iHerb with those analogues that can be bought in Russia - I just have not tried them, with the exception of Thai Agrilife which, although equally good, is much more expensive.

And coconut oil and other products are generally a separate detective story. Be sure to read.

By the way, about the aroma. In reviews on iHerb, Jarrow Formulas Organic Unrefined Cold Pressed Coconut Oil is most often highlighted - here is its iHerb page. Like, it is the most fragrant. But I noticed this feature: the congealed coconut oil (and it freezes at temperatures below 24-25 degrees Celsius) smells noticeably stronger than when it is in liquid form. Although the oils different manufacturers in fact, they are almost the same, some recommend storing it at room temperature, while others recommend refrigerating it. So here it is Jarrow Formulas and also Source Naturals(which I have right now), they recommend storing in the refrigerator, and therefore their product seems to be more fragrant. ๐Ÿ™‚

In view of this, I do not bother about a specific fragrance, and choosing what to buy, I focus on the price. Source Naturals Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (on iHerb) is currently the cheapest (from extra virgin oils in 14-16 oz containers (the designation of fluid ounces, it turns out 414-473 ml)), and at the same time it is in a glass jar, not plastic, if that matters to you. Although because of this shipping, the weight of the parcel will be more.
