A timid young man, who first proposed a girl to meet, feels like a hero inside. A full girl, despite all her complexes, dresses gorgeous dress on the prom, - a hero no less. But can such people be called brave?

Many realize that black soldiers who fought valiantly for American freedoms sometimes returned home to die in the linguistic tree because racist whites resented their noses to wear uniforms and proudly show off the American flag?
Black people throughout history have shown their patriotism by criticizing the nation for their shortcomings, and they have been vilified in turn. Muhammad Ali was stripped of his title and ran from the ring for his conscious objection to the Vietnam War. Now all these figures are heroes: the king's birthday is celebrated as National holiday, and Ali recently received a hero's burial. And First Lady Michelle Obama, who was once regarded as ungrateful and unpatriotic, is more popular than her husband, and President Barack Obama, who once attacked unpatriotism for not wearing an American flag pin, won not one, but two terms as president to prove his patriotism and love for the country.

We should see Kaepernick's critique as love - the tough love that America embraces when it can blow other sovereigns, but not so much when it's aimed at America.
The opposition to Kaepernicus rests on an erroneous premise and confusion of terms: many who oppose Kaepernicus because of patriotism actually oppose him because of nationalism. There is a big difference between nationalism and patriotism. Nationalism is an uncritical celebration of one's people, regardless of their moral or political virtue. This is summed up in the saying: "My country is right or wrong." If you have problems with America, say she's going or leaving her, or find another country that works better.

Courage is the golden mean between cowardice and recklessness. A thin line that distinguishes a person with great spiritual power.
