In total, there are ten levels of festive atmosphere and five levels of decoration rarity. Your level of holiday atmosphere depends on both the rarity level of decorations and their quantity in the Garage. By default, all players will start at Tier I and will receive a gift — an MKA tank, a German premium Tier II vehicle with a slot and 100% crew. Each new level guarantees additional rewards, including discounts on researchable Tier I-X vehicles, personal reserves, equipment, and Garage slots.

However, there is one “BUT” - Christmas decorations differ in level, and in order for the festive atmosphere to constantly progress, toys of the first, then second, third and fourth levels are needed first. The WoT New Year Offensive action involves completing combat missions of varying complexity, respectively, the quality of gifts is also growing, but as the tree and tanker are upgraded, toys of a lower level become obsolete, they can then be crafted, that is, converted into higher-level ones.

Crafting process and special nuances

So, as you level up the holiday atmosphere in the hangar, the low-level WoT Christmas tree decoration will become obsolete and you will need more top-level toys, so what to do with the old ones, is it really possible to forget or throw them away?

Of course not. Let's say you have a lot of first-level decorations, they can and should be converted into second-level decorations. This is done in just a few steps:
1. Open the holiday atmosphere menu by clicking on the Christmas tree;

2. Click the "Convert Decorations" button;

3. Insert 5 decorations into the slots that appear and click "Improve";
4. In the end, we get a random toy of the second level.

Exactly the same simple machinations can be done with decorations of subsequent levels (2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th).

However, here it is worth making some clarifications. To reach the maximum, tenth level of the holiday atmosphere, the New Year tree in World of Tanks and the tanker must be fully decorated with toys of the 5th level, and they are extremely rare in battles.

In this case, it is reasonable to assume that you need to convert the decorations of the 4th level to the next. Of course, this process is quite laborious, but also quite feasible, because the Christmas tree in World of Tanks will stand right up to January 16, 2017.

Another important fact is that there are no level 6 decorations, and if you convert 5 level 5 toys, you will just get another level 5 toy, but some other one.
