The British media criticized the outfits of Kate Middleton in India. Kate Middleton impressed with her wardrobe in Asia: photos of Kate and William in India were published

During the official tour of Prince William and his wife, the Duchess Cambridge Kate Middleton in India and Bhutan showed the whole world a variety of outfits of the Duchess.

This is stated in the message on the site bestin.ua.

The program of the British royal couple turned out to be truly intense: visiting national parks and gala evenings, archery lessons, playing cricket with children from the slums, hiking in the Pato Valley and meeting with entrepreneurs and the governments of India and Bhutan. With the week of the tour ending on April 16, the princess has had plenty of reasons to prove her style icon. The whole world is watching the royal trip, and every exit of Kate is discussed with no less interest than the diplomatic success of the mission. So, a few hours after Kate went out in a dress by Indian designer Anita Dongre in Mumbai, the site of the author of the dress went down due to a large number wishing from the UK, Australia, Canada and the US to get exactly the same.

Kate brought most of her outfits from her native UK, while the Duchess enjoys wearing items from the luxury brands Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, as well as accessories and clothing from mass-market brands - Topshop, ZARA and Acessorize.

As Lime reported.

This week, Prince William and Kate Middleton spend in India and Bhutan, trying to establish strong relations with South Asian countries. The program of the first days turned out to be rich: the Prince and Princess of Cambridge managed to attend a reception in honor of their arrival, an evening in honor of the upcoming 90th anniversary of the Queen, a meeting with the Prime Minister of India, a conversation with entrepreneurs, a cricket game with children from the slums. Of course, at all events, the eyes are riveted on the favorite of the crowd, Kate Middleton.

The style of the Duchess of Cambridge is surprisingly simple: A-line outfits, classic pumps and neat jewelry do their job. But this time Kate managed to surprise us. The chosen one of Prince William diluted her usual wardrobe with elegant dresses from British designers, but with a subtle Indian hint. We've never seen a Kate Middleton like this!

In early April, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton made a week-long trip to India and Bhutan. The diplomatic visit was made to strengthen relations between the two countries - Great Britain and India.

Kate Middleton and Prince William in India

The official visit of Kate Middleton with her husband to India began on April 10. First of all, the monarchs took the time to communicate with local residents, namely with those who suffered in 2008 during the terrorist attack on the Taj Mahal hotel. The prince and his wife also paid tribute to the victims.

The couple played cricket with children from the slums. At the same time, Kate sincerely had fun, hitting the balls.

They also met with local entrepreneurs at the exhibition and discussed the latest technologies. At the same time, ten developers were lucky enough to win a trip to exchange experience with colleagues from the UK.

During the trip of Kate Middleton and Prince William to India, they attended a gala evening, which was organized in honor of the Queen's 90th birthday. In addition, the royal couple participated in the following events:

  • a lunch meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi at his residence, Hederabad House;
  • a visit to the Kaziranga National Park, where the couple had two meetings. They were attended by representatives of public organizations from New Delhi. Priority was given to discussing issues related to wildlife and the conservation of endangered species. There, the Duke and Duchess interacted with the inhabitants of the local village of Panbari and took part in decorating a statue for the Elephant Parade;
  • meeting with the rangers;
  • hiking in the Pato Valley;
  • visit to Thimphu - the capital of Bhutan, to meet with local monarchs.

In addition, in India, in New Delhi, Kate Middleton visited the Salaam Baalak children's foundation, which supports homeless children. There, the couple communicated with the pupils of this organization.

Kate Middleton and her outfits in India

While attending various events in India, Kate Middleton surprised those around her with her dresses, which were carefully selected for official visits. The Duchess approached the choice of outfits extremely responsibly - many of them contained ethnic motifs and in one way or another intersected with the national Indian costume.

Some of the dresses were made in the style of the 60s and 70s, which is a perfect match for Kate's classic look. Several outfits turned out to be blue or light blue, which incredibly suit the Duchess and are her favorite tones. There were also classic cut clothes in black and white or pastel colors.

During a visit to the Salaam Baalak Children's Fund, Kate had a traditional red dot painted on her forehead, which went perfectly with her colorful Indian-style dress.

At a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister, those around were amazed by the elegant appearance duchess. She was wearing a turquoise dress trimmed with embroidery and lace. The image was complemented by boats and flesh-colored.

When Kate Middleton returned from India, the public had the opportunity to study numerous reports containing details about the events and the outfits in which they attended.

A few days remain until India and Bhutan. For a whole week, from April 10 to 16, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton will work to establish friendly relations between the UK and South Asian countries. Fans of the royal house are waiting with bated breath for the first appearance of the royal couple on the airstairs, their first appearance and other, no doubt, interesting and bright moments of the tour. The other day, the press service of Buckingham Palace released the full schedule of Kate and William's trip with all the details. As it turned out, the spouses are waiting for not just rich, but very, very eventful days!

Prince William and Duchess Catherine

The first point of the route of Prince William and Duchess Catherine will be the city in western India, Mumbai. The couple will stay at the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower Hotel, where 165 civilians were killed in a terrorist attack in 2008. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will lay a wreath at a memorial inside the hotel and meet with members of the staff who helped protect guests during the attack.

Next, the couple will go to the Oval Maidan public park, where they will become spectators of a cricket match, and then there they will meet with the beneficiaries of the Magic Bus, Doorstep and India's Childline charitable organizations and chat with children from the nearest slums. Moving to the largest at Mumbai's Banganga Tank, Kate and William will meet with representatives of the SMILE Foundation, which focuses on the employment of young people in India.

A long flight and a busy day program is no reason for early sleep. In the evening, the spouses will be guests of honor at a dinner organized in their honor by the country's cinematographers.

On the second day of the tour, which falls on Monday, the Dukes of Cambridge will visit the modern and trendy The Social space in central Mumbai, where they will meet young entrepreneurs. After that, they will fly on a private plane to the capital of the state, New Delhi. There, the couple will first visit the India Gate of Triumph Arch to lay flowers, then go to the Gandhi Smriti Museum, based on the site where the philosopher and public figure Mahatma Gandhi spent the last few years of his life. William and Kate will be given a tour of the museum, including the site where Gandhi was assassinated in 1948.

In the evening, the couple will attend a dinner organized at the residence of the British High Commissioner in honor of the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II (the Queen will turn 90 in April - ed. note). Prince William will take the stage and give a speech dedicated to his grandmother.

The morning of the third day of the tour will begin with two official meetings between Kate and William, the details of which have not yet been disclosed. After the ducal couple, they will have to change their outfits for more comfortable ones and go to the Kaziranga National Park. In 2005, the UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated its 100th anniversary. Here, the couple has two meetings with representatives of public organizations in New Delhi on wildlife protection and the conservation of endangered species. The park is rich in tropical forests, rivers and flowering meadows, so on this day, photographers will definitely be able to take picturesque pictures with Kate and William. The world-wide fame of the park was brought by the fact that the largest (2/3 of the world population) population of one-horned rhinoceros is located here. Also in the park you can see tigers, elephants, sloths, Bengal cats, fishing cats, gaurs, barasings and many other wild animals. In total, there are more than 30 species of mammals in the park, 15 of which are endangered in the world.

It is known that Kate and William's visit to the park will take place in the evening and will coincide with the Bohag Bihu festival, the celebration of the Assamese New Year. British monarchs will get to know the locals and see their musical numbers and dance performances around the fire.

The next morning, the couple will return to the Kaziranga reserve to carry out a number of important events. Duchess Catherine and Prince William will meet with rangers to discuss poaching and ways to save the endangered rhinoceros. The couple will also visit one of the nearby villages and chat with the locals.

In the afternoon, they will travel to the Wild Animal Conservation and Rehabilitation Center, which provides emergency medical care to animals injured or orphaned by poachers.

On the penultimate day of the tour, the couple will move to the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu, where they are scheduled to meet with the king and queen of the country, Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck and Jetsun Pema Wangchuck, who are popularly called "Himalayan William and Kate." Together they will take part in the traditional festive procession and visit the local temple. Next, the dukes will have to briefly part with the Asian rulers in order to participate in archery competitions, which are held annually in one of the open-air parks in Thimphu. The day will end with a gala dinner at the Lingkana Palace, where they will be hosted by the royal couple of Bhutan.

The sixth day will cost William and Kate the maximum physical effort - they will go on a six-hour hike through the Paro Valley. The end point of their route will be the famous Bhutanese monastery of Taktsang Lhakhang. The temple, built in 1692, hangs on a rock 3120 meters high, 700 meters above the level of the Paro valley. For three years, Padmasambhava, an 8th-century Indian teacher of Buddhist tantra who made a significant contribution to the development of the Tibetan form of Buddhism, lived and meditated there.

After such an eventful day, the only thing that any tourist will probably want to do is relax in a hotel. But not Kate and William. In the evening, they are scheduled to have another meeting - with British citizens living in Bhutan, on issues of maintaining their connection with the UK.

The most interesting part of the program, although not so eventful, is prepared for the monarchs on the last day. The couple will fly from Bhutan's Paro Airport to the North Indian city of Agra. There, in the country's tourist mecca, is the main building of the era of the Mughal Empire - the Taj Mahal. Prince William's mother, Princess Diana, visited the Taj Mahal 24 years ago, so he, by his own admission, is "incredibly happy to see people who keep memories of meeting her." After visiting the temple, the dukes will have to board the plane, wave India for the last time and go home to the UK, where their children - Princess Charlotte and Prince George, as well as the dog Lupo will be looking forward to waiting for them. It was the latter, as Kate jokingly admitted, after returning from the last tour, she misses traveling the most.
