What is the difference between the rubber base for gel polish and the usual one. Rubber top for gel polish: how is it different from the usual Rubber top for nails

To keep the nails well-groomed and bright for a long time, the base under the varnish will help. It will protect the nail plate from environmental influences and at the same time the varnish will remain without damage for a long time. The highest quality is the rubber base. What it is? It is nothing more than a layer that connects the varnish coating to the nail plate. In addition to it, there are many other bases used by nail service masters to perform high-quality manicure. But rubber is the best.

Benefits of a rubber base for gel polish

Its differences from others are as follows:

Its texture is dense and thick, which allows you to effectively level the surface of the nails before applying varnish.

It allows you to wear it on your nails for quite a long time. At the same time, chips of the varnish coating do not form during this time, as well as cracks, as when using other bases.

Due to its thick and dense consistency, it is easy for masters to work with it, unlike conventional liquid bases that constantly spread over the nail.

Together with the growing nail, the rubber base shifts plastically, protecting the upper layer of the nail plate due to its tight adhesion to it.

It serves as a barrier against getting into the surface of the nails of various coloring substances.

Due to the viscous texture, it can be applied to the nail both in a thick layer and in a thin one.

Designed primarily for use on thin and brittle nails.

It gives the coating strength, elasticity, which no other base can boast of.

Due to the presence of rubber in the composition, this coating provides excellent fixation, which cannot be achieved with the help of others.

It dries very quickly in a special lamp, just one minute.

A woman who has used such a coating before applying varnish will be able to walk with her nails without correction for twenty days. At the same time, no cracks on the nails and chips will upset her, as is usually the case when using other base coat compositions.

It should be applied only after the nail plate has been treated and degreased with special means. In this case, it will last much longer, and the nails will be much stronger. In addition, the nails are provided with the necessary care, and this is an additional advantage of this coating over others.

Is it necessary to apply a base coat?

Quite often, questions arise whether it is possible to apply resistant gel polish on nails without a base. The fact is that modern resistant varnishes, which are now used in salons, are three-phase. This indicates the possibility of their use only together with additional strengthening agents. As a rule, these are the base, a good top and a dye. It should be noted that without a properly selected base and top, a manicure will not be so durable. That is why masters do not recommend using only gel polish without the necessary additions to it.

However, progress is constantly moving. Currently, the market has replenished with single-phase coatings, which do not require the use of additional funds at all. In this case, the procedure for applying the gel is greatly simplified, so it can be performed at home with minimal skills.

It should be said that garden lovers will be pleasantly surprised if they make themselves such a manicure. Their nails will remain completely intact and neat even after working in the ground, as the rubber coating will help protect them. Reliable protection allows a woman to do housework without thinking that the manicure will suffer and it will take a lot of time to restore it. That is why most ladies prefer this coverage to others. This fact is confirmed by many reviews.

How to apply rubber base for gel polish

Apply the foundation as follows:

The nail plate is pre-prepared, then a small amount of base is applied, which is distributed evenly over the surface with rubbing movements. Then you need to dry your nails in a special lamp. If the nails are too thin and brittle, then you can apply two layers. This coating can be removed by soaking with foil for ten minutes. It will easily separate from the nails. The use of three-phase coatings allows women to save time on frequent manicures and at the same time always remain with well-groomed nails, in contrast to conventional varnish coating.

An overview of the most popular rubber-based products

There are several companies that make this product.

Rubber base Uno. The country of origin is Hong Kong. The volume of the bottle is 15 ml. It has a thick and dense texture, holds a drop well and does not spread. True, due to the fact that it is very thick, a large amount of material remains on the stem of the brush and you have to wipe it from all sides so that the applied layer is thin. The bristles of the brush are synthetic and short, which creates some problems in application. Drying time in an ultraviolet lamp is two minutes, and in ice - only thirty seconds. Manufacturers recommend using it without a primer.

Base Premier is a budget version of the product, which does not detract from its quality. The volume of the bottle is 8 ml. The base is liquid compared to similar products from other manufacturers. The brush is flat synthetic long, which makes it very convenient to apply the base on the nails.

The TNL base has a dense consistency, slowly flows off the brush, which allows you to work with it for a long time. In addition, this density allows you to even out damage to the nail plate and defects. Her brush is large, with its help it is easy to apply the product on the nails.

The base of Kodi is very thick, with a dense texture. It flows slowly from the brush and therefore evenly distributed over the nails. It is very easy to work with such a tool, so even beginners do not have difficulties with this. The volume of vials is 7, 12, 14 ml. True, it has drawbacks: it bubbles and acquires a very thick texture in the air.

Gel polish is a three-step system that begins with the application of a base, usually a clear thick coat. The base for gel polish allows you to align the nail plate and prepare it for applying pigmented polish. This product is the first step towards creating a durable and perfectly even coating: it not only acts as an adhesive coating element, but also protects the nail plate from the rich color composition of the gel polish itself, smoothing the nail scales.

What it is

The base in the professional language of nail masters means the first (base) layer that must be applied before varnish and fixed in a UV or LED lamp. After the polymerization process, or hardening of the base, a colored gel polish layer is applied. The last, third step is the use of the top and its drying in the lamp.

The base and top are necessary to create a long-lasting and durable coating without cracking and to prevent chipping. The base is applied to the previously prepared nail plate: cleaned with a special buff and degreased with a clinser, often masters additionally use a primer for better adhesion of the composition to the nail. The purpose of the base is to provide high-quality adhesion of the surface of the nail with the color of the gel polish, fix it on the plate and ensure long-term wear. The base, of course, protects the keratinized layer of cells from the penetration of the pigment inside and the loss of naturalness.

Today every woman dreams of having beautiful well-groomed nails., and confirmation of this is a regular visit to the manicure parlor and the choice of gel nail polish. After applying the base, the nail plate becomes dense, uniform in texture, protected from the destructive effect of the pigment. Thanks to the first layer, it is possible to restore the architecture of the nail plate, give it an anatomically correct shape, and increase its thickness. A correctly formed nail plate looks elegant and concise, the gel coating with color lays down in a smooth layer, which provides a natural glossy shine.

A high-quality base and a good gel coating are worn for a long time, but sometimes cause difficulties in removal. Experienced craftsmen began to apply a varnish square before gel polish in order to facilitate the process of removing a long-term coating. The "square" technique is the application of a transparent varnish on a previously degreased nail with indents of about 2-3 mm from the edge of the plate and the skin. In this case, an ordinary transparent varnish is used, for example, strengthening. After it dries, apply the usual thick base under the gel polish.

The camouflage rubber base has such a dense and pliable consistency, which allows you to smooth out all the imperfections of the nail plate. The modern pace of life, ecology, nutritional habits - all this affects the appearance of nails, which are not ideal and heterogeneous in texture. In order for the gel polish to last for a long time, you should use a high-quality base and top - this will act as a guarantee of nail safety, pigment saturation and long-term wearing of the coating.

The best base for gel polishes is rubber for a number of reasons:

  • She provides perfect adhesion to the nail plate;
  • Has a thick texture and lays down on the surface in an even layer;
  • It protects nails from the penetration of coloring pigments;
  • Thanks to the rubber base you can restore or create an anatomically correct shape of the nail plate;
  • The base is absolutely harmless and does not adversely affect the nail, does not affect its further quality if the coating is removed correctly.

Kinds

Leveling

It usually has a transparent dense texture.. It serves to give the nail plate uniformity: the base hides cracks, grooves and other imperfections in order to create a perfectly flat surface for applying gel polish. Leveling bases also differ from each other in the main component, which is selected based on the initial state of the nail plate, its density, length, and appearance.

color

Has a slight tint. Colored bases are usually used to create a manicure in a French design and have a slight pinkish tone.

Without the use of this product, it is impossible to imagine a long-term coating, even though there are "3 in 1" gel polishes: base, varnish and top in one bottle. Although this will provide a quick application, but the long term of wearing such a product is questionable.

What is needed for

The use of the base is a mandatory step in the three-step procedure for applying gel polish. It is needed in order to:

  • Provide a strong grip between the nail plate and pigmented gel polish;
  • Strengthen the surface of the nail and protect against the penetration of the coloring pigment;
  • Smooth out an imperfect insert surface by filling microcracks, grooves with a composition (often based on rubber);
  • Provide long-term wearing gel polish;
  • Enhance the radiance of the pigmented composition and give saturation to the shades;

Is it possible not to apply under the gel

The classic scheme for applying gel polish implies the mandatory use of either a base coat. The base is applied to a pre-prepared and degreased nail, fixed by polymerization under the action of UV rays. It adheres the coloring pigment to the nail, acting as an intermediate protective layer. Without a base, it is impossible to imagine applying gel polish. Firstly, such a coating will not be worn for long, and secondly, after such a manipulation, there is a high probability that the natural color of the nail plate will acquire the shade of the used hybrid of gel and varnish.

Modern nail product manufacturers have created a single-phase gel polish coating that combines these three components: base, pigment (varnish) and top. Products are applied in 2-3 layers, like a regular varnish, polymerization takes place in a UV lamp, like a classic gel format. A similar method can be useful for home use: fast, convenient, practical. However, units think about the time of wearing such a coating: it usually does not exceed one week. Which cover to choose: single-phase or classic three-stage, depends on the preferences of the woman and her ability to update the manicure if necessary.

Women are often interested in whether it is possible to do without a finish line. Top coat- Another mandatory item when working with gel polishes. It fixes previously applied coatings, gives a glossy shine or makes the nail matte, protects the varnish from chips and scratches. The combination of top and base provides nail protection and an integral coating, protects against chips and cracks, gives a rich color to the gel pigment and ensures a long wearing manicure for up to 3-4 weeks. The advantage of using a base and a top is that the gel coating lasts much longer: manufacturers claim 2 weeks, but in fact women wear it up to 3-4 weeks, depending on the natural growth of nails. In addition, the base strengthens the nail plate, forms its correct shape due to the distribution of layers.

Why rolls

The main reason why the base rolls and lays unevenly is the lipid film on the surface of the nail. To ensure uniform coverage, the nail plate must first be treated with a soft buff and degreased with a clinser and lint-free wipes.

Composition

rubber

The most popular under-gel foundation has a thick, dense texture., well distributed over the surface of the nail, does not flow under the cuticle. Thanks to the rubber base, you can work on the shape of the nail plate by adjusting the density and thickness of the coating. With the help of a rubber base, the most durable coatings are created: the base fills in imperfections on the nail plate, evens out the surface of the nail and makes it perfectly smooth; it provides excellent adhesion to the next layer - pigmented gel polish.

The rubber-based base strengthens the nail plate, which is thin by nature or prone to brittleness, bending. The drying time of such a product is traditional - about 1 minute.

Silicone

An innovative silicone-based gel polish base traditionally comes in the form of a sticker. It allows you to remove a long-term coating without injuring the nail. The silicone base is applied to a pre-aligned nail plate and treated with a clinser (degreaser): you need to pick up a sticker with a similar shape of the nail, stick it on a clean, dry surface, remove the residue with a file. The silicone sticker is easily fixed on the nails and perfectly aligns and seals their structure. After the sticker has been fixed, it is necessary to align it and remove the formed air bubbles with an orange stick, gently smoothing the surface with the tool.

It is often used on damaged brittle nails and in cases where women are afraid to use a classic coating.

Acrylic

To strengthen the nail plate, a classic base and acrylic powder are used.- a synthetic material that has found its application in nail extensions and their correction. After shaping and degreasing the nail plate, the usual base is applied and acrylic powder immediately, then the nails must be dried in a UV lamp to adhere and harden the materials. Acrylic base is used to strengthen and give strength to thin brittle nails. There are transparent, white and colored powder, which is often used to create an original nail design and strengthen 2in1.

Gel based

Such a base often combines a base, gel polish and top, that is, it is a single-phase product for creating a long-term durable coating. All bases for gel polish are based on gel, they have the texture of this material, which ensures their easy application, the ability to adjust the thickness.

With vitamins

A similar type of base for gel polish is used for brittle, damaged, thin nails. Such formulations are enriched with vitamin E to stimulate the natural process of cell renewal and, as a result, strengthen the nails.

Water based

This type of base does not apply to gel polish, but there is a lot of talk about it today. A water-based base is used before applying the classic pigmented polish, which dries naturally. Such products do not contain potential allergen chemicals, which means they are suitable for allergy sufferers, pregnant women, children, and adolescents.

  • Another rubber product to create anatomically correct nails presented by the brand Naomi. It differs in that it is both a base and a top at the same time. The range of the brand has a classic analogue for the first stage of applying gel polish, designed to strengthen and protect nails, provide better adhesion to the pigment.

  • Komilfoamerican brand, which produces the base for the gel coating. It is applied as a classic varnish or using the drip method, the latter is necessary for the formation of the nail surface and its compaction. The base is used to create the shape of the nail, in addition, it can grow the nail up to 1 mm in length.

  • Inexpensive base is presented by the Polish brand Aura. The product has a non-dense texture, which allows you to maintain the natural thickness of the nail plate and not overload the latter with excessive weight.

  • The classic rubber base is in the line Royal to create the perfect gel polish finish. By the way, the brand line has a base with a less dense texture to protect the nail and ensure better adhesion of the layers.

Alignment of the nail plate

The technique allows you to form a natural regular shape and restore damaged plates. The dense texture of the base for rubber-based gel polish allows you to give your nails an elegant shape, give them density, volume, turn flat, unsightly plates into beautiful nails. There are several techniques for leveling the plate using a classic base and using acrylic powder. Consider the first method, the most common and affordable to perform even at home:

  • It is necessary to prepare the nail plate for applying the base: give it a shape, remove the cuticle, treat it with a buff and degrease it with a special composition - a clinser;
  • Then apply a thin layer of foundation and dry it in a lamp;
  • After applying a drop of a dense base to the middle of the plate and with the help of a thin brush, stretch it to the tip, the movements should be stroking and abrupt towards the end at the same time;
  • After that, be sure to turn your finger over so that the nail “looks” at the table (palm up). To make the shape natural, edit the volume of the plate in this position and leave it in this position for a while so that the gel fills the grooves;
  • Dry the nail in the lamp.

In order for the alignment procedure to succeed, it is necessary to use a gel polish with a dense texture., rubber bases are ideal for this. Women often ask how many layers of base to use. It depends on the initial state of the plate and its density. If the nails are very thin, two layers are enough, the first of which is applied by the classical method and dried in a lamp, after which the plate should be properly coated again with the drop method. Do not forget that you must first degrease the surface to prevent the base from rolling and applying it evenly. Besides, the first thin layer of the base will serve as a good basis for further application.

In order to make sure that the coating is even, turn your hand palm up and evaluate the new shape from this angle: it will show a smooth transition of the plate from the end to the center. A glossy uniform sheen on the surface will tell you about the correct correction, which is easy to check thanks to good lighting.

Before applying the base for gel polish, it is necessary to treat the surface of the nail plate with a buff and then thoroughly degrease it;

  • If the cover is being assembled or rolled up, then this is the first "bell" about insufficient processing of the nail and the presence of a lipid film on its surface;
  • The base is applied only on a dry nail., otherwise it will begin to blur and lie unevenly;
  • How to understand if the base is dry: dry it in the lamp for 1-2 minutes, depending on the power of the accessory;
  • It must be dried at maximum lamp power. and for the time recommended by the manufacturer.

How to choose

The choice of base should be based on the initial condition of the nails and the desired result. The rubber base is used for:

  • Creating the right curved nail shape and natural curve;
  • Filling grooves and cracks;
  • Seals;
  • plate protection from getting gel pigment;
  • Creations denser, thick texture.

A classic base with an unsaturated texture of medium density is suitable for healthy, naturally strong nails. In any case, it is necessary to use it before applying the gel polish itself, regardless of how long you plan to wear it.

What to replace

In a three-stage system for applying gel polish, it is impossible to replace the base. Ignoring its use will lead to unstable and poor-quality coverage., damage to your own nails due to their coloring in pigment. Nails will become brittle, thin, if you neglect the base for gel polish. Women are interested in whether it is possible to replace the base with a regular strengthening base. If you plan to use gel polish and a lamp, then you cannot replace the base intended for this procedure.

The procedure for applying gel polish consists of three main phases: base, gel polish, finish. We want to note that the durability of the coating and the duration of wearing a manicure depend on the top layer.

Why is it worth choosing a rubber top-fixer, how does it differ from the classic one, and what are the application features? We will talk about this in the article.

Rubber top is an essential coating for gel polish. Nail masters almost immediately fall in love with a new type of finish and move to the rank of admirers for a long time. And it's not hard to believe.

The rubber top coat is thick and viscous, which greatly simplifies the application process.

A similar texture is suitable for beginners, because it does not spread over the nail and does not flow onto the cuticle - it is rubber-based products that are optimal for training.

In addition, there are numerous advantages of such a tool:

  • Self-leveling - the top spreads over the nail plate, providing an even, smooth coating.
  • Lack of yellowness - White gel polish and light pastels often suffer from the finish, turning yellowish over time. With a rubber finish, this does not happen, the transparency of the coating does not change and the color does not go anywhere.
  • Durability - the top lasts much longer than the classic version, does not chip or crack.
  • Beautiful shine - a high-quality top does not lose its shine even a couple of weeks after application, thanks to which the manicure looks expensive and spectacular.

The rubber topcoat dries a little longer than a classic top, between one and three minutes. It all depends on the lamp used (LED or UV), as well as the recommendations of the product manufacturer.

Rubber top: with or without a sticky layer

There are tops without a sticky layer that do not require degreasing the surface. It is convenient, besides, the cost of materials used for manicure is reduced.

This type of coating is suitable for owners of strong nails - it is characterized by increased strength and resistance to chipping.

That's just the top for gel polish with a sticky layer is much more elastic and softer, so it is optimal for thin, easily bending nails - the finish without a sticky layer in this case will instantly become cracked.

A special pleasure and convenience is delivered by the finish without stickiness in a manicure using small details. Where it is necessary to paint over small planes and it is inconvenient to walk with a napkin with a clinser.

Application secrets

Both classic and rubber finishes are applied in the same way. After applying a layer of gel polish, it must be thoroughly dried, and then proceed to use the top.

It will be useful to remember a few simple rules:

  • You need to move from the middle of the nail
  • Excess fixative is removed with bamboo sticks.
  • To remove the coating, a special solvent or nail polish remover is used - the product is applied under the foil
  • It is recommended to use the top of the same company as the base.

Rubber-based manicure products are dense and durable, practically do not spread over the nail and are easily distributed.

Overview of popular rubber tops

A detailed review and comparison of products from leading manufacturers will allow you to choose the best option for yourself.

  • Rubber topCody

One of the most famous brands - it is with him that gel polish manicure is most often associated. The convenient shape of the brush simplifies the work, the top is dense and flows very slowly from the brush. This texture is ideal for smoothing the nail.

Apply the product very carefully, carefully distributing it over the surface of the nail plate. The fixer is durable and of good quality, it is used sparingly. But in order to extend the period of its operation, it is important not to forget to twist the bottle after use, otherwise the product will begin to bubble.

Kodi rubber top comes in different sizes: 7.12 and 14 ml.

  • BLUESKY finish

Those who have previously used the classic BLUESKY top will appreciate the rubber-based product. The shape of the brush remained unchanged, but the texture of the fixer became thicker. It is easy to apply - the finish, as if independently distributed over the surface. The gloss is retained for a long period of time.

The coating is perfect for owners of thin nails prone to brittleness. Bluesky Shellac does not chip and is well suited even for those who are disappointed with the period of wearing top coats from other manufacturers.

  • TNL professional rubber top

The rubber-based finish manufactured by TNL has earned hundreds of positive reviews. A flat brush of medium width with an even bristle - such a tool is optimal for accurate application of the fixer, thanks to the fan-shaped opening.

TNL rubber fixer is not too thick. Unlike the Kodi top coat, which practically does not drip from the brush, this finish is easy to apply. It does not flow onto the cuticle when applied carefully, but such a top is not relevant for smoothing nails.

Due to the presence of special UV filters, the coating protects the gel polish from yellowing and fading in the sun. An excellent choice for pastel colors and French manicure.

  • Vogue rubber

The Vog fixer is very economically consumed - it is enough to apply a thin layer and dry it thoroughly. It takes only 30 seconds with LED lamp, or 2 minutes with UV.

The brush is thin, but the pile opens easily, which simplifies the application process. The coating is well distributed on the nail plate, thanks to which it is possible to obtain a perfectly flat surface.

The top helps to extend the period of wearing any manicure. Its application is an integral final stage of the procedure. It protects the nails from damage and prevents the appearance of cracks and chips. The rubber top in this regard has higher rates.

What is the difference between a regular top and a rubber top?

These two products have fundamental differences, which can be detected immediately after the start of use and in the future.

Advantages of rubber top:

  1. It has a denser texture, so it is easy to apply and does not drip onto the borders of the nail.
  2. It spreads evenly over the plate, hiding all the flaws and shortcomings.
  3. Does not turn yellow and does not darken over time.
  4. Gives colors brightness and juiciness.
  5. The time of wearing such a top is much longer than the classic one. It is not subject to mechanical damage, does not chip and retains the original appearance of the manicure for a long time.
  6. The product is hypoallergenic and has no unpleasant odor.
  7. Gives nails a beautiful glossy shine, well-groomed and neat appearance.

It will be much more convenient to use such a product for beginners who have not yet “got their hands on it”. But many experienced craftsmen prefer rubber.

How to apply?

There are some features of using a rubber top. If you know them, the manicure will be of high quality and professional. Top coat is applied to the dried layer, then dried for 30-120 seconds, depending on the manufacturer's recommendations.

Experienced masters working with a rubber top advise starting to apply the product from the middle of the nail, then distributing it along the edges, without touching the cuticle and nail ridges. Before use, it is advisable to warm the jar with the top by rubbing it between the palms or placing it in warm water.

The brush should be held parallel to the nail plate and do not press on it. A gentle touch is enough to cover the top evenly. The finish should not be thick, so the excess should be removed from the brush.

In conclusion, it is recommended to treat the nail with dryer or cuticle oil, so the finish will retain its properties longer, even if it has dried poorly. With a rubber top coat, your nails will gain strength and shine.

Hello!

Not so long ago, I met a new Russian brand for me - a manufacturer of products for manicure, pedicure MiiS, and it began with rubber gel polishes from the Premium line.

In general, the use of rubber gel polishes was my debut, so to speak, before that I only heard about the properties and features of their texture, that it is more difficult to work with them than with ordinary ones, but the excellent durability and other advantages did not leave me indifferent in the end))

All lacquers in this line have an identical, simple, laconic design with stylish inscriptions on smooth bottles, on the lids of which you can find colored caps that allow you to orient yourself and not get confused in the shades.

By the way, the only imperfection of the packaging is that the caps easily come off even with slight pressure, and because of this they can get lost, so I try to unscrew the brushes as carefully as possible.

The colored circles fully match the shades of the gel polishes themselves, even more than the pictures presented on the MiiS website, which is very convenient.

Rubber gel polishes are very different from regular gel polishes:

  • they are thicker and more viscous in consistency
  • they can be stretched infinitely along the plate
  • thanks to these properties, it is easy to align the plate with them and give it a beautiful shape
  • they are densely pigmented
  • can cover pigment with just 1 layer

1 shade - beige with fine shimmer (062)- the lightest in texture, and it was with him that I decided to start my acquaintance with this type of gel polish. A light shade leaves a small opportunity for blots that will not be so noticeable.

I must say right away that at first, especially in the very first manicure, I had to get used to this most viscous texture, but the main thing that I understood was no need to apply too thick layer , it is better to stretch it, albeit with bald spots, and then supplement it with the next one. Thus, it will be possible to obtain a neat, natural and not overly dense (thick) coating.

The light beige turned out to be very sweet, delicate and graceful, and the shimmering shimmer gives a very delicate glow. This is a truly universal shade that will suit everyone and in any circumstances.

Applied in 2 layers.

Here you can see the complete correspondence of the shade on the cap to the color of the gel polish.

The wear of this color is above average, but my right hand usually peels off faster and chips appear at the edges. But the advantage of the nude version lies precisely in the fact that it, like the growing varnish, is absolutely not striking.

2 shade - bright red glossy (026)- on the cap it looks quite bold, but on the nails it turned out to be quite appropriate, not flashy, which I was afraid of.

The color looks luxurious, but it turned out to be the most fuss with it out of all 3 options - it has a very thick texture, which needs to be applied moderately and stretched as much as possible to get that even, neat gloss. You can not go too far with it, even in 1 layer the manicure looks saturated, quite dense and evenly dyed.

Any oversight is costly - the varnish will go in waves and begin to fail, peel off and move away from the nail. A couple of fingers had to be redone because of this, but after the correction everything looked decent until the very removal.

Applied in 2 layers.

This shade is the most dense of all: applied in 2 layers, it makes the plate unrealistically strong in appearance, so when you take it off, a mean tear of disappointment slowly flows down from the difference with thin natural nails, from which you wean yourself in 2-3 weeks of wearing rubber))

3 shade - hot pink with fine shimmer (071)- the most resistant of the 3 tested, apparently due to the shimmer and greater density than beige. I don’t know if this is due to the fact that I applied the rubber coating last, when the hand was already a little stuffed, or the shade itself is such in characteristics, but it was easy to work with.

And this despite the fact that it is bright and any awkward touch would be very noticeable. In texture, it is less dense than red, and the nails look more natural, even painted in 2 layers.

Fine shimmer looks just as delicate as beige, but in a bright shade it adds more depth and volume. Manicure looks self-sufficient and does not require any design.

In terms of general characteristics, I note the following:

  • rubber gel polishes do not have any overly strong unpleasant odor, no more than ordinary ones
  • they are all removed without problems in the standard way, it even seemed to me that it was a little easier than the rest
  • time for manicure design increases almost 2 times due to the increase in polymerization time
  • they noticeably thicken native nails
  • with them, the nails break less and sometimes it turns out to grow them to a very good length
  • require experience and a well-trained hand for an accurate result.

In general, despite some difficulties in using at the beginning, MiiS rubber gel polishes definitely deserve my love, but I can’t say that I switch completely to them. Most likely for certain tasks and mood, when you want a denser and more resistant coating, the design of which I will be ready to spend time.

Thanks for attention!)
